“The Lord says, ‘I was ready to respond, but no one asked for help. I was ready to be found, but no one was looking for me. I said, “Here I am, here I am!” to a nation that did not call on my name.’” (Isaiah‬ ‭65:1‬) So many people want to know what God’s will is for their lives. Why not instead ask how they can fit their lives into God’s will? He is always available to answer your call. So many people think that God’s will includes things that are undesirable—but God is always good, so that’s impossible. Little kids don’t like to eat their vegetables, but does that make vegetables bad for them? What is the will of God? God’s will is for you to love him with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength—and to love your neighbor as yourself. Everything else starts from there. Being in the center of God’s will might not be anything like what you thought it was, it might even feel scary at first; it might seem like eating vegetables. But it’s still good for you.
