“The Lord knows people’s thoughts; he knows they are worthless!” (Psalms‬ ‭94:11‬) Have you ever been picked on, made fun of? Ever called a loser or worthless? If not, here’s your chance. This psalm talks about the foolishness of the wicked, the convoluted thinking of those who commit evil deeds and think God isn’t looking. It reminds us that He is completely aware. And with that knowledge we can praise Him for His patience because we were once in equally desperate condition. We were stumbling around in the dark as if we could see. We were blind to all that was good. But He gave us worth. He traded the holiness of Jesus for our wretched state, to make us finally and forever pure. No longer are we losers or without hope. We have been blessed with the righteousness of God for our joy and His glory. Praise His holy name.
