“For you have rescued me from my troubles and helped me to triumph over my enemies.” (Psalms 54:7) Take a moment to celebrate. Wherever you are in your life, you are there. You are not dead; the reality of your heartbeat is your triumph. The enemy has not won—and since you are a child of God, he never will. Your troubles are temporary. Your troubles are small. How can I say that if I don’t know you? Because I know your God. He is the Creator. He is the one who raises the dead. He is the destroyer of sin and its source. He is victorious, which makes you victorious. The world will say otherwise. It will try to convince you that your belief is an illusion. It will laugh at Jesus but it will be a hollow laugh, even a doubtful laugh, because it has no hope. Remember your Savior. When you look at the life of Jesus you will see that He had moments of discouragement. But He didn’t look down. He looked up, where His hope came from and where He was going. You have the same thing he had: triumph in the face of empty threats. Never fear a defeated enemy. #NoiseCash
