The #cryptocurrency market recorded liquidations of orders totaling ~$234 million as bitcoin fell below the $40,000 level. According to Coinglass, over 78,000 orders have been liquidated on the market in the last 24 hours. #Bitcoin liquidations account for the most: ~$64.7 million. Ether (#ETH) recorded $52.5 million, and terra (#LUNA) $7.7 million. At the same time, the largest liquidation was noticed on the #OKEx exchange in the BTC/USDT pair in the amount of $ 3.3 million. Bitcoin has managed to lose 3.3% in the last 24 hours and collapsed to ~$38,800, according to #Coingecko. At the moment, the market #capitalization of the cryptocurrency decreased to $736.3 billion. At the time of writing, the quotes of the largest crypto asset by capitalization amount to ~ $39,000. Despite the bearish signals of the weekly and daily timeframes, the short-term picture gives reason to believe that the bottom is already quite close. At least this is hinted at by the bullish divergence on the oversold 6-hour RSI indicator. When this happened the previous two times, it preceded the beginning of a period of significant growth. Meanwhile, the on-chain indicator "supply in Profit" (Supply in Profit) is holding near the support level of 62.5%. This position promises bitcoin both the possibility of a bullish trend reversal and the risks of capitulation, which are also confirmed by the signal of the surrender of long-Term hodlers (Long-Term Holder Capitulation Signal). In general, the results of the long-term wave analysis indicate the probability of a subsequent price increase in the direction of $50,000.
