Coinbase has received more than 2,000 government requests in six months. Cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase has published a report on the transparency of activities for the second half of 2020. Between July 1 and December 31, the company received 2,313 government disclosure requests. The vast majority of complaints (95.7%) are related to criminal investigations. Most often, three jurisdictions — the United States, the United Kingdom and Germany-were asked to provide information about the exchange's clients. They account for about 90% of the total number of requirements. During the reporting period, US government agencies sent 1197 requests to Coinbase. Of these: Federal Bureau of Investigation — 362; Customs Police — 248; local government agencies — 161; Drug Enforcement Agency — 121. #Cryptocurrency
