A study by Arcane Research, published last week, says that over the past year, the number of LN users has soared by 79,900% from 100,000 to 80 million. Analysts attribute this explosive growth of the network to an increase in the number of applications with access to the #Lightning Network. In 2021, many services for bitcoin transactions, including exchanges, began to integrate the Lightning network in order to expand the capabilities of cryptocurrency holders. Over the past few years, the Lightning network has expanded significantly. Back in early 2020, #BitMEX analysts came to the conclusion that the Lightning Network is spreading at a much faster pace than initially expected.
