Elon Musk gave a huge boost to Bitcoin adoption by announcing that he will be accepting BTC for Tesla. More importantly, Musk clarified that the BTC used to purchase cars will be kept as Bitcoin and not converted to cash, adding further credence to the premier cryptocurrency's status as a store-of-value. The service will also be available outside the USA in 2022.
