No one, including Elon Musk, can harm Bitcoin — head of Binance. The head of the largest cryptocurrency exchange #Binance Changpeng Zhao is very popular among cryptans. Despite the fact that he is often reproached for betraying the ideals of cryptocurrency and turning Binance into a regulated centralized enterprise, Zhao, nevertheless, does his best to help the crypto community and shares many of his ideas. The story of Elon #Musk, who sold bitcoins to his company Tesla, and a series of high-profile bankruptcies have stirred up the market. But Zhao is sure that no one, including Musk, can drop #bitcoin. And he also believes that he is not competent enough to engage in crypto lending, like the infamous #Celsius and #Voyager. The richest person in the world may need a big mountain of cash In a short comment for the American Fox Business channel, Zhao touched on burning issues. Mentioning the sale of 75% of its bitcoin assets to Tesla, he said that there was no need to worry about Elon Musk. The head of Binance does not think that anyone buying or selling bitcoins will be able to seriously affect the asset. Musk's decision means little to the industry because his move— any move —won't change the fundamentals of bitcoin. In a recent interview with CNBC, Zhao stressed that a series of high—profile bankruptcies in the crypto #market did not affect him too much - the #exchange did not act either as their creditor or debtor, therefore it did not suffer. When asked if Binance did not suffer because it noted the risks associated with crypto lending in time and simply did not get into this swamp, Zhao explained that everything is much simpler: "I think because we are stupid. We like to do things in a simple way… We are an exchange, and that's why we stupidly don't do credit business." A convinced hodler When asked about the possible sale of personal bitcoins against the background of a bear market, the head of Binance shared that he kept almost all of his bitcoins that he bought at the very beginning of his journey in the crypt. He has spent less than 1% of what he once acquired and perceives his bitcoins as a stash. He does not perceive bitcoins as an asset that needs to be bought cheaply and sold more expensively. #Cryptocurrency for him is quite independent and full—fledged money.
