Belt Finance, a platform that provides automated market creation for decentralized finance (DeFi), was hacked on Saturday in an instant loan attack that resulted in a loss of $ 6.23 million. This is the latest attack on the DeFi protocol built on the Binance Smart Chain, one of the so-called Ethereum killers created by the centralized cryptocurrency exchange giant Binance. In a blog post, Belt Finance said that the attacker created a smart contract that used PancakeSwap for flash loans and used its BeltBUSD pool and its strategic protocols, and then proceeded to execute the contract eight times with a total profit of 6,234,753 BUSD (US $ 6.23 million). #CryptoTrading
