<<<Market and realized capitalization>>> To find out the current market capitalization (MS, market cap) of bitcoin, you need to multiply the number of coins in circulation by the current BTC rate. To get the realized capitalization (RC, realized cap), you need to multiply the number of coins in circulation by the rate fixed at the time of their last movement. This is done in order to devalue lost coins, as well as those that have been lying motionless for a long time. The market is in the black if MC > RC. BTC In the bull market, the RC is growing rapidly, as investors want to lock in profits and old coins are moving. In a bear market, the indicator falls because hodlers sell at a loss. Bitcoin has fallen significantly relative to the April high, but the RC actually reached a new peak of $378 billion on May 17. After a slight decline, the indicator resumed growth and reached a new peak on August 28 at $387 billion. Meanwhile, the RC rose relative to the MS not so significantly after the minimum reached on July 20. During this period, it increased by 7%. On the other hand, the MC increased by as much as 64%. This means that BTC is getting more expensive, but the coins that were last moved at lower prices remain stationary. Two conclusions can be drawn from this: 1.Holders previously fixed profits, and now they remain out of the market. 2.They continue to walk, despite the rally. One thing is clear: participants do not sell at a loss, otherwise the RC would decrease. Our previous analysis showed that some old coins came in motion, especially on August 17. However, the slight increase in RC suggests that sales are small compared to the total number of coins. #CryptoTrading
