Shopify CEO Ponders De-Fi Integration Shopify CEO Tobi Lutke has publicly tweeted and asked about what Shopify can offer for the DeFi ecosystem. The tweet brought on a plenitude of responses, including multiple DeFi power players such as Nansen’s Alex Svanevik who suggested stablecoin payments as well as using DeFi protocols to allow Shopify users to earn yield. However, Lutke also mentioned that Shopify would not try to fit a purist’s definition of decentralization, as they will only focus on reducing barriers and friction in online retail. #Cryptocurrency
