Circle company announced that after converting #USDC to #BUSD on the #Binance #cryptocurrency exchange, the number of blockchains supporting the USD Coin stablecoin will be increased from 8 to 13. The issuer of the USD Coin (USDC) and Euro Coin (#EUROC) stablecoins announced that it is working on expanding the US dollar-backed #stablecoin on five major blockchains. In particular, Circle plans to launch USDC on #Arbitrum, #Cosmos, #NEAR, #Optimism and #Polkadot in early 2023. Circle vice president of product Joao Reginatto said that this step will allow users to have "greater liquidity and interoperability" when performing operations. Currently, the USDC stablecoin is supported by the blockchains #Ethereum, #Solana, #Avalanche, #TRON, #Algorand, #Stellar, #Flow and #Hedera. Circle has invited developers who support these blockchains to start testing the integration of networks with the #Circle API right now. Recall that earlier this month, the Binance cryptocurrency exchange ordered the list of low-liquid stablecoins, including USDC, converting them into #BinanceUSD (BUSD).
