According to a press release, on September 9, FinCEN, a division of the US Department of the Treasury, will hold a virtual event and invite companies "developing solutions to privacy issues"to participate. FinCEN says it will focus on the role of privacy principles in developing technical solutions that drive innovation in financial services. Although the concept of ZKP dates back to the 1980s, its technology has been adapted to certain blockchain projects and protocols, including those used by Zcash and Mina. The Agency asks participants to demonstrate how these types of solutions work and how companies use them, including the potential applications for privacy in the private and public sectors. #CryptoTrading
