The Saints Have Joined Us! English soccer club Southampton F.C. has secured a new deal with Sportsbet.io, bringing with it an option for the club to be paid performance bonuses in Bitcoin. As part of the agreement, the crypto-betting platform will continue to be the club’s shirt sponsor up to 2024. The club has since confirmed that if they view Bitcoin as a “new, high-growth currency” with strong future benefits, then the crypto-based bonuses would be up for consideration. #Cryptocurrency
