The search giant #Google did not stay away from the imminent transition of the #Ethereum network to the Proof-of-Stake (#PoS) algorithm – the company launched a countdown timer before the merger and created a special "doodle". In order to get access to the timer and doodle, you need to type the queries "Ethereum #Merge" or "The Merge" in the Google search bar. The doodle consists of images of two happy pandas walking towards each other with open arms – the closer the merger, the closer the pandas come to each other. As noted by Google Cloud developer Sam Padilla, the timer and doodle became "a small and fun surprise", as well as an expression of respect for the work that has been carried out for years.
