Cybersecurity company Neodyme reported an exploit in the Solano blockchain, which created an opportunity to steal user tokens blocked in DeFi protocols. Neodyme wrote on Twitter that she had discovered and corrected an error in the contract for the provision of tokens in the Solana Software Library (SPL). According to experts, an exploit discovered a couple of months ago threatened several DeFi protocols with a total volume of blocked assets (TVL) worth $2.6 billion. The vulnerability caused a rounding error, as a result, more tokens were blocked than were entered into the contract by users.
