The 1inch report states that during cryptanalytic attacks using brute force, hackers can find out the private keys to Profanit addresses and take possession of a cryptocurrency worth several tens of millions of dollars. However, experts admit that hacking will be difficult to implement in practice. One of the Profanit developers, known under the pseudonym johguse, acknowledged the problem. He stated that the programmers abandoned the project after discovering several critical vulnerabilities in the process of generating private keys. He recommended that all members of the crypto community refrain from using this tool.
