Vitalik says BCH is a Failure

We started the year with a small discussion on the social network twitter where the renowned developer and founder of Ethereum Vitalik Buterin stated that today he considers BCH as a failure.

Specifically, the Twt notes:

I think that as a community we cannot ignore what Vitalik is trying to say, on the contrary I think we should analyze our position as fans and as long time users of this excellent cryptocurrency.

BCH Failure? and Ethereum?

Ethereum is an amazing Software or Program, everything you can imagine you can do with Ethereum not for its currency for the Ether is crazy with its little big problem called Gas feed.

But I think Vitalik has to pay much more attention in his work, because for example BCH and its developers managed to have SmartBCH a huge achievement and by the way a danger for Ethereum

Let's go a little bit into Vitalik's history with BCH

You say today that BCH is a Failure after we went through the hash war that took BTC to be worth less than $7,000 and then with the Amaury Séchet and BCH ABC fights where BCH got to be worth less than $200 there was never any opinion.

But today when BCH has thousands of businesses accepting BCH in many countries, when the development is growing, when we launch Smart BCH you say it is a failure?

If we look at the history, Vitalik favors the philosophical vision of BCH and understands the nature of Bitcoin which inspired Satoshi Nakamoto to create a P2P electronic payment system.

You may notice that Vitalik has a history with Bitcoin Cash and that he also openly supports the philosophical argument ... clear in this current context, I must say the following in his favor:

Vitalik supported BCH and its developers among them Amaury Séchet who at the time was the main leader of BCH and then for the year 2020 was the one who caused another internal conflict among the Bitcoin Cash community after wanting to become a millionaire with a percentage for mining BCH claiming that his work did not have good income money, his ambition was evidenced and ended up causing another fall in the value of BCH.

Today vitalik will say, that in BCH they are used to fights for money and power, and that there are notable struggles for the continuity of a project that benefits thousands of people morally but that the leadership that at least helps to keep the project alive is also being neglected.

In one of our community chat, a user says: "vitalik with that comment is putting BCH developers on alert" and I support this comment at all, there is still much to develop in Bitcoin Cash and we can still grow much more, the historical value of BCH exceeds $ 3,000.

I myself was in those times when BCH was the second most popular cryptocurrency and with more capitalization in the market, can we be there again? I think it does not depend much on us as a community and developers, it depends a lot on the public opinion, on the events.

Why isn't Bitcoin Cash in Coinmarketcap's top 10 today?

On December 31 I talked to the son of a neighbor of mine, he is 15 years old, and my neighbor is 44 years old, for years I tried to explain to the father about bitcoin and he never wanted to learn. The 15 year old son today plays all kinds of P2E games and earns 100 or 200$ a month depending on his time.

I asked the little 15 year old what Bitcoin was and he has no idea, he only told me that it is used to buy tokens in Binance but nothing else.

The same goes for thousands of people in the world, their only goal is to increase their FIAT they have no intention or care about the p2p e-money project.

and that is why BCH is in the position, because we are behind a noble project.

Example: which bank, corporation, investment fund or government is interested in the poor people in Africa to have a Free Bank???

The only interest is to multiply fiat and we are doing a lot of impact work, but it is a lot of philosophical impact, it does not have a speculative impact even though BCH is much cheaper for any investor or corporation and government.

this is a sad truth
