"WHY?" The question echoed in her ears as she slowly walks away from his arms She's been fighting for it for so long now. Questions that often give her nightmares when she sleeps It's driving her crazy She tried to fight the urge to stop. She didn't wanna quit. But if she won't, then she'll starve. She will starve for answers, assurance and anything that would make her mind stop overthinking. Sure, it would be okay to tell him But she would only make a fool out of herself If only he knew If only he knew how much love she feels when she's with him If only he knew how she loves seeing him smile If only he knew how much she misses his laughter, hugs and his lame jokes But she realized that maybe, walking away from him is the answer even if it's the most selfish thing she'll ever do.
