We had a heartbreaking yet enlightening moment earlier as the municipal meet came to an end. Although my volleyball players didn't get the gold they had always dreamed of, they still played a great game. As their coach, I am incredibly proud of them for giving their best. Lalaban at lalaban padin! 💪

Hey there!! I’m back — and guess what? I finally tied the knot with my husband! 💍 We got married just yesterday, and honestly… I still can’t fully process it. It feels so surreal. Like, did that really just happen?? It was such a beautiful, emotional, and unforgettable day — everything felt like a dream come true. I can’t believe I’m actually married now. Every time I say “my husband,” I get butterflies. 🥹💖 Yesterday was filled with so much love and joy — it was everything I hoped for and more. I’ll be holding onto those memories forever. Today is the day I’ve been waiting and praying for our wedding day. Despite the recent earthquakes here in Davao, I trust that God will cover us with His protection and peace. My first Teachers' Day in DepEd was truly memorable. It was a three-day celebration exhausting, yes, but I enjoyed every moment of it. We ate a lot of delicious food and shared so many laughs. I even won a raffle 5 kilos of rice! Hahahahaha!!! I was actually aiming for the ₱50,000 cash prize (huhu 😅), but I’m still incredibly grateful for everything. Thank You, Lord, for giving me the opportunity to be part of such a momentous celebration.

I almost fainted earlier, but thankfully I took a rest right away and decided not to attend my class. I had a bad headache because of my period, and I'm also quite anemic. However, I still gave my students an activity to work on during my class time.

Another realization: A person is like an empty cup whatever you pour into it fills and shapes them. I've noticed that when I spend time with a certain group of people, my previously neutral mind starts to absorb their mindset, including their judgments and biases. For example, I don't initially judge someone when I see them, but when the people around me start criticizing or speaking negatively about that person, I find myself being influenced and beginning to see them in the same light. This made me realize how powerful our environment is in shaping our perspective whether we’re aware of it or not.

Every time I hear Christmas songs, my mood shifts to joy. They really take away my stress and tiredness before I go to work. It feels so nostalgic, ang sarap ngumiti sa umaga hahahahah

I wasn’t able to go to church today because my stomach hurt so much. I had already prepared everything and was ready to go, but the pain made me decide to stay. I know it’s not good to make excuses, but I didn’t want to get distracted during the service because of the stomachache.

I had so much fun earlier! We played a lot of games that our students prepared for the Teachers' Day celebration. Now I have muscle soreness all over my body, but I truly enjoyed every moment of it even though our team lost. Hahaha!

Some of my colleagues got into an argument regarding a student's grade. Unfortunately, the discussion turned unhealthy and quite toxic, as neither party was willing to humble themselves or consider the other’s point of view, they both seemed convinced they were right. Now, the situation is getting out of hand.

One of my students experienced a traumatic incident yesterday morning on her way to school, involving someone she trusted for transportation. She was threatened to stay silent. Despite this, she attended class today but seemed withdrawn, so I gave her space and allowed her to rest she might have needed it. After class, I gently asked if she was okay and told her she could go home if she wanted to. She replied, “I’m fine, Ma’am. I feel safer here than at home, because no one is there.”
