The Saddest Plot Twist of Kuya Ken's Love Story

However, love isn’t enough sometimes. No matter how true and strong it is. And no matter how great it is, sad to say, love is not the only thing that keeps two people together for a lifetime. We all need and desire love. But we need a lot more than love to keep a relationship last long.

A lot of people think that love is the solution. And that love conquers all, well we can't deny the fact that a perfect and wholesome love can only be found in God alone. Hence, we should not let our emotions dominion over us because in this whole wide world love isn't perfect and will never be.

So at this very evening, allow me to share a short real-life experience of our beloved and moat respected Kuya Ken (churchmate) who was blessed with talents, and became our living example of kindness, Faith, and Forgiveness.

"She's the one"

Kuya Ken and Ate Jessy are an ideal couple, they both thought that they are match made in heaven. A lot of people admired their relationship, and we have witnessed how sweet and perfect they are when both of them are together. They oftentimes wear a couple t-shirt, and as far as I remembered their favorite color was yellow. Until one day, Kuya Ken decided to work abroad particularly in Japan, for the reason that he was deeply in love with his long-time girlfriend/partner which made him realize that in order to give her a bright future he must flew overseas to achieve it, and he was determined that after two years he will come back and marry Ate Jessy. And he was certain that SHE'S THE ONE.

The Saddest Plot Twist of their relationship

It was hard for them at first, but months passed by they are exchanging messages consistently from time to time, and Ate Jessy even showed me Kuya Ken's Picture, and it's good to see them close and happy despite of having a long distance relationship. One year later, we've heard an unexpected and shocking news, Ate Jessy was pregnant with another man.

I was deeply saddened for that heartbreaking truth and I felt sorry for Kuya. I was about to chat him and asked if he was Okay or not, but then I realized that it might only make him even more sad and broken. I just prayed to God that hopefully the both of them will overcome this tough challenge that they have gone through. Since that day, I haven't seen Ate Jessy going to church anymore and a lot has changed. After two years, Kuya Ken has finally arrived, I can't face him properly that time because I just can't help myself from reminiscing that sad and painful moment of his life.

In spite of everything, he still chose to forgive and accept the sad reality that the woman he loved the most and the one he promised to marry and build a family with was already in the hands of another man.

Now, Kuya Ken is living peacefully, joyfully and has a successful career. I am glad that he was able to overcome those trials by faith alone. He admittedly stated that he broke down in tears and the so-called suicidal thoughts nearly ruled his mind, but thank God his faith and love for the Almighty Father reigned in his Life and saved him from depression and extreme sadness.

Aside from that, Ate Jessy has two adorable kids as well. I can see it in her face that she is happy with her own family now.
