I had a student yesterday who I caught cheating during the exam. I had warned her many times before. She was constantly looking at her seatmate's answers during our long quiz last week, and now I caught her again this time, she wasn’t looking at her seatmate's answers, but instead secretly using her notes, which she had placed beside her chair. I didn't get mad, but I was very disappointed because I believed in her. I feel pity for her because she was trying so hard to be part of the honors list, but the way she tried to do it was the wrong approach.
