অর্থনীতিবিদ ড. অতিউর রহমানের জীবন কথা একটা গাভী আর কয়েকটা খাসি তিনি সকাল থেকে সন্ধ্যা পর্যন্ত ওগুলো মাঠে চরাত। বিকেল বেলা গাভীর দুধ নিয়ে বাজারে গিয়ে বিক্রি করত। দুধ বিক্রির আয় থেকে সঞ্চিত আট টাকা দিয়ে তিনি পান-বিড়ির দোকান দেই। তার জন্ম জামালপুর জেলার এক অজপাড়াগাঁয়ে। ১৪ কিলোমিটার দূরের শহরে যেতে হতো পায়ে হেঁটে বা সাইকেলে চড়ে। পুরো গ্রামের মধ্যে একমাত্র মেট্রিক পাস ছিলেন তার চাচা মফিজউদ্দিন। তার বাবা একজন অতি দরিদ্র ভূমিহীন কৃষক। তারা ছিল পাঁচ ভাই, তিন বোন। কোনরকমে খেয়ে না খেয়ে দিন কাটতো তাদের। দাদার আর্থিক অবস্থা ছিলো মোটামুটি। কিন্তু তিনি তার বাবাকে তাঁর বাড়িতে ঠাঁই দেননি। দাদার বাড়ি থেকে খানিকটা দূরে একটা ছনের ঘরে তারা এতগুলো ভাই-বোন আর বাবা-মা থাকতাম। মা তাঁর বাবার বাড়ি থেকে নানার সম্পত্তির সামান্য অংশ পেয়েছিলেন। তাতে তিন বিঘা জমি কেনা হয়। চাষাবাদের জন্য অনুপযুক্ত ওই জমিতে বহু কষ্টে বাবা যা ফলাতেন, তাতে বছরে ৫/৬ মাসের খাবার জুটতো। দারিদ্র্য কী জিনিস, তা তিমি মর্মে মর্মে উপলব্ধি করেছিলেন- খাবার নেই, পরনের কাপড় নেই; কী এক অবস্থা ! তার মা সামান্য লেখাপড়া জানতেন। তাঁর মায়ের কাছেই তার পড়াশোনার হাতেখড়ি। তারপর বাড়ির পাশের প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয়ে ভর্তি হয়। কিন্তু তার পরিবারে এতটাই অভাব যে, তিনি যখন তৃতীয় শ্রেণীতে উঠল, তখন আর পড়াশোনা চালিয়ে যাওয়ার সুযোগ থাকলো না। বড় ভাই আরো আগে স্কুল ছেড়ে কাজে ঢুকেছেন। তাকেও লেখাপড়া ছেড়ে রোজগারের পথে নামতে হলো। তাদের একটা গাভী আর কয়েকটা খাসি ছিল। তিনি সকাল থেকে সন্ধ্যা পর্যন্ত ওগুলো মাঠে চরাত। বিকেল বেলা গাভীর দুধ নিয়ে বাজারে গিয়ে বিক্রি করত। এভাবে দুই ভাই মিলে যা আয় করতো, তাতে কোনরকমে দিন কাটছিল। কিছুদিন চলার পর দুধ বিক্রির আয় থেকে সঞ্চিত আট টাকা দিয়ে তিনি পান-বিড়ির দোকান দেয়। প্রতিদিন সকাল থেকে সন্ধ্যা পর্যন্ত দোকানে বসত। পড়াশোনা তো বন্ধই, আদৌ করবে- সেই স্বপ্নও ছিল না ! এক বিকেলে বড় ভাই বললেন, আজ স্কুল মাঠে নাটক হবে। স্পষ্ট মনে আছে তার, তখন তার গায়ে দেওয়ার মতো কোন জামা নেই। খালি গা আর লুঙ্গি পরে তিনি ভাইয়ের সঙ্গে নাটক দেখতে চলেছিলেন। স্কুলে পৌঁছে তিনি তো বিস্ময়ে হতবাক ! চারদিকে এত আনন্দময় চমৎকার পরিবেশ ! তার মনে হলো, তিনিও তো আর সবার মতোই হতে পারতো। সিদ্ধান্ত নিলো, তাকে আবার স্কুলে ফিরে আসতে হবে। নাটক দেখে বাড়ি ফেরার পথে বড় ভাইকে বলল, আমি কি আবার স্কুলে ফিরে আসতে পারি না ? তার বলার ভঙ্গি বা করুণ চাহনি দেখেই হোক কিংবা অন্য কোন কারণেই হোক কথাটা ভাইয়ের মনে ধরলো। তিনি বললেন, ঠিক আছে কাল হেডস্যারের সঙ্গে আলাপ করবো। পরদিন দুই ভাই আবার স্কুলে গেল। বড় ভাই তাকে হেডস্যারের রুমের বাইরে দাঁড় করিয়ে রেখে ভিতরে গেলেন। তিনি বাইরে দাঁড়িয়ে স্পষ্ট শুনেছিল, ভাই বলছেন তাকে যেন বার্ষিক পরীক্ষায় অংশগ্রহণের সুযোগটুকু দেওয়া হয়। কিন্তু হেডস্যার অবজ্ঞার ভঙ্গিতে বললেন, সবাইকে দিয়ে কি লেখাপড়া হয় ! স্যারের কথা শুনে তার মাথা নিচু হয়ে গেল। যতখানি আশা নিয়ে স্কুলে গিয়েছিল, স্যারের এক কথাতেই সব ধুলিস্মাৎ হয়ে গেল। তবু বড় ভাই অনেক পীড়াপীড়ি করে তার পরীক্ষা দেওয়ার অনুমতি যোগাড় করলেন। পরীক্ষার তখন আর মাত্র তিন মাস বাকি। বাড়ি ফিরে মাকে বলল, তাকে তিন মাসের ছুটি দিতে হবে। তিনি আর এখানে থাকবে না। কারণ ঘরে খাবার নেই, পরনে কাপড় নেই- তার কোন বইও নেই, কিন্তু তাকে পরীক্ষায় পাস করতে হবে। মা বললেন, কোথায় যাবে ? বলল, আমার এককালের সহপাঠী এবং এখন ক্লাসের ফার্স্টবয় মোজাম্মেলের বাড়িতে যাবো। ওর মায়ের সঙ্গে আমার পরিচয় আছে। যে ক’দিন কথা বলেছি, তাতে করে খুব ভালো মানুষ বলে মনে হয়েছে। আমার বিশ্বাস, আমাকে উনি ফিরিয়ে দিতে পারবেন না। দুরু দুরু মনে মোজাম্মেলের বাড়ি গেল সে। সবকিছু খুলে বলতেই খালাম্মা সানন্দে রাজি হলেন। তার খাবার আর আশ্রয় জুটলো; শুরু হলো নতুন জীবন। নতুন করে পড়াশোনা শুরু করল। প্রতিক্ষণেই হেডস্যারের সেই অবজ্ঞাসূচক কথা মনে পড়ে যায়, জেদ কাজ করে মনে; আরো ভালো করে পড়াশোনা করে সে। যথাসময়ে পরীক্ষা শুরু হলো। তিনি এক-একটি পরীক্ষা শেষ করছেন আর ক্রমেই যেন উজ্জীবিত হচ্ছেন। তার আত্মবিশ্বাসও বেড়ে যাচ্ছে। ফল প্রকাশের দিন তিঞ্জ স্কুলে গিয়ে প্রথম সারিতে বসলেন। হেডস্যার ফলাফল নিয়ে এলেন। তিনি লক্ষ্য করলেন, পড়তে গিয়ে তিনি কেমন যেন দ্বিধান্বিত। আড়চোখে তার দিকে তাকাচ্ছেন। তারপর ফল ঘোষণা করলেন। তিনি প্রথম হয়েছেন ! খবর শুনে বড় ভাই আনন্দে কেঁদে ফেললেন। শুধু তিনি নির্বিকার- যেন এটাই হওয়ার কথা ছিল। বাড়ি ফেরার পথে সে এক অভূতপূর্ব দৃশ্য। সে আর তার ভাই গর্বিত ভঙ্গিতে হেঁটে আসছি। আর পিছনে এক দল ছেলেমেয়ে তাকে নিয়ে হৈ চৈ করছে, স্লোগান দিচ্ছে। সারা গাঁয়ে সাড়া পড়ে নিয়ে এসে তাকে দেখালেন। ওইটা ছিল ক্যাডেট কলেজে ভর্তির বিজ্ঞাপন। যথাসময়ে ফরম পুরণ করে পাঠালেন। এখানে বলা দরকার, তার নাম ছিল আতাউর রহমান। কিন্তু ক্যাডেট কলেজের ভর্তি ফরমে স্কুলের হেডস্যার তার নাম আতিউর রহমান লিখে চাচাকে বলেছিলেন, এই ছেলে একদিন অনেক বড় কিছু হবে। দেশে অনেক আতাউর আছে। ওর নামটা একটু আলাদা হওয়া দরকার; তাই আতিউর করে দিলাম। তিনি রাত জেগে পড়াশোনা করে প্রস্তুতি নিলেন। নির্ধারিত দিনে চাচার সঙ্গে পরীক্ষা দিতে রওনা হলো সে। ওই তার জীবনে প্রথম ময়মনসিংহ যাওয়া। গিয়ে সবকিছু দেখে তো চক্ষু চড়কগাছ ! এত এত ছেলের মধ্যে তিনিই কেবল পায়জামা আর স্পঞ্জ পরে এসেছিল ! তার মনে হলো, না আসাটাই ভালো ছিল। অহেতুক কষ্ট করলেন। যাই হোক পরীক্ষা দিলেন; ভাবলেন হবে না। কিন্তু দুই মাস পর চিঠি পেল, তিনি নির্বাচিত হয়েছেন। এখন চূড়ান্ত পরীক্ষার জন্য ঢাকা ক্যান্টনমেন্টে যেতে হবে। সবাই খুব খুশি; কেবল তিনিই হতাশ। তার একটা প্যান্ট নেই, যেটা পরে যাবে সে। শেষে স্কুলের কেরানি কানাই লাল বিশ্বাসের ফুলপ্যান্টটা ধার করলেন। আর একটা শার্ট যোগাড় হলো। তিনি আর চাচা অচেনা ঢাকার উদ্দেশে রওনা হলেন। চাচা শিখিয়ে দিলেন, মৌখিক পরীক্ষা দিতে গিয়ে তিনি যেন দরজার কাছে দাঁড়িয়ে বলে: ম্যা আই কাম ইন স্যার ? ঠিকমতোই বললেন। তবে এত উচ্চস্বরে বললেন যে, উপস্থিত সবাই হো হো করে হেসে উঠলো। পরীক্ষকদের একজন মির্জাপুর ক্যাডেট কলেজের অধ্যক্ষ এম. ডাব্লিউ. পিট তাকে আপাদমস্তক নিরীক্ষণ করে সবকিছু আঁচ করে ফেললেন। পরম স্নেহে তিনি তাকে বসালেন। মুহূর্তের মধ্যে তিনি তার খুব আপন হয়ে গেলেন। তার মনে হলো, তিনি থাকলে তার কোন ভয় নেই। পিট স্যার তার লিখিত পরীক্ষার খাতায় চোখ বুলিয়ে নিলেন। তারপর অন্য পরীক্ষকদের সঙ্গে ইংরেজিতে কী-সব আলাপ করলেন। তিনি সবটা না বুঝলেও আঁচ করতে পারলাম যে, তাকে তাঁদের পছন্দ হয়েছে। তবে তাঁরা কিছুই বললেন না। পরদিন ঢাকা শহর ঘুরে দেখে বাড়ি ফিরে এলেন। যথারীতি পড়াশোনায় মনোনিবেশ করলো সে। কারণ সে ধরেই নিয়েছিল যে, তার চান্স হবে না। হঠাৎ তিন মাস পর চিঠি এলো। তিঞ্জ চূড়ান্তভাবে নির্বাচিত হয়েছেন। মাসে ১৫০ টাকা বেতন লাগবে। এর মধ্যে ১০০ টাকা বৃত্তি দেওয়া হবে, বাকি ৫০ টাকা তার পরিবারকে যোগান দিতে হবে। চিঠি পড়ে মন ভেঙে গেল। যেখানে তার পরিবারের তিনবেলা খাওয়ার নিশ্চয়তা নেই, এবং সে চাচার বাড়িতে মানুষ হচ্ছে, সেখানে প্রতিমাসে ৫০ টাকা বেতন যোগানোর কথা চিন্তাও করা যায় না ! এই যখন অবস্থা, তখন প্রথমবারের মতো তার দাদা সরব হলেন। এত বছর পর নাতির (তার) খোঁজ নিলেন। তাকে অন্য চাচাদের কাছে নিয়ে গিয়ে বললেন, তোমরা থাকতে নাতি আমার এত ভালো সুযোগ পেয়েও পড়তে পারবে না ? কিন্তু তাঁদের অবস্থাও খুব বেশি ভালো ছিল না। তাঁরা বললেন, একবার না হয় ৫০ টাকা যোগাড় করে দেবো, কিন্তু প্রতি মাসে তো সম্ভব নয়। দাদাও বিষয়টা বুঝলেন। তিনি আর কোন আশার আলো দেখতে না পেয়ে সেই ফয়েজ মৌলভী স্যারের কাছে গেলেন। তিনি বললেন, আমি থাকতে কোন চিন্তা করবে না। পরদিন আরো দুইজন সহকর্মী আর তাকে নিয়ে তিনি হাটে গেলেন। সেখানে গামছা পেতে দোকানে দোকানে ঘুরলেন। সবাইকে বিস্তারিত বলে সাহায্য চাইলেন। সবাই সাধ্য মতো আট আনা, চার আনা, এক টাকা, দুই টাকা দিলেন। সব মিলিয়ে ১৫০ টাকা হলো। আর চাচারা দিলেন ৫০ টাকা। এই সামান্য টাকা সম্বল করে তিনি মির্জাপুর ক্যাডেট কলেজে ভর্তি হলেন। যাতায়াত খরচ বাদ দিয়ে তিনি ১৫০ টাকায় তিন মাসের বেতন পরিশোধ করলেন। শুরু হলো অন্য এক জীবন। প্রথম দিনেই এম. ডাব্লিউ. পিট স্যার তাকে দেখতে এলেন। তিনি সবকিছু খুলে বললেন। আরো জানালেন যে, যেহেতু তার আর বেতন দেওয়ার সামর্থ্য নেই, তাই তিন মাস পর ক্যাডেট কলেজ ছেড়ে চলে যেতে হবে। সব শুনে স্যার তার বিষয়টা বোর্ড মিটিঙে তুললেন এবং পুরো ১৫০ টাকাই বৃত্তির ব্যবস্থা করে দিলেন। সেই থেকে তাকে আর পিছনে ফিরে তাকাতে হয়নি। এস.এস.সি পরীক্ষায় ঢাকা বোর্ডে পঞ্চম স্থান অধিকার করলেন এবং আরো অনেক সাফল্যের মুকুট যোগ হলো। তার জীবনটা সাধারণ মানুষের অনুদানে ভরপুর। পরবর্তীকালে তিনি তার এলাকায় স্কুল করেছিলেন, কলেজ করেছিলেন। যখন যাকে যতটা পারতেন, সাধ্যমতো সাহায্য সহযোগিতাও করতেন। কিন্তু সেই যে হাট থেকে তোলা ১৫০ টাকা; সেই ঋণ আজও শোধ হয়নি। তার সমগ্র জীবন উৎসর্গ করলেও সেই ঋণ শোধ হবে না! পারিবনা কথাটি বলিও না আর একবার না পারিলে দেখ শত বার শত চেস্টা করে যারা আজ জীবনে সফল আমি আজ তাদের কথাই বলব।তারা জীবনে আজ কত কস্টের বিনিময়ে তাদের সফলতা অর্জণ করেছে আমি আজ তাদের কথাই বলব। তাহলে শুরু করা যাক .... গল্পটা একজন চীনা বালকের। চীনারা ইংরেজিতে ভীষণ কাঁচা। তো এই চীনা বালক আমেরিকার কোন এক মাল্টিন্যাশনাল কোম্পানিতে পরীক্ষা দিতে গিয়ে চরম ভাবে ফেইল করে সে। তার ইংরেজি দক্ষতা নিয়ে রীতিমত হাসাহাসি পারে যায়। বেচারা মনে খুব দুঃখ পেলো সেইদিন। কিন্তু জেদও চেপে বসলো। পরবর্তীকালে এই ছেলেটা হয়েছিল ইংরেজির শিক্ষক। শুধু চীনেই তার ছাত্র রয়েছে ১০ কোটির উপরে। ... ডেল কার্নেগীকে বলা হয় সর্বকালের সেরা বক্তা সেটা আমরা সবাই জানি । তার কাহিনীটা জানা আছে কারো? শুনন তাহলে... জীবনে প্রথমবারের মতো ডেল কার্নেগী যখন মঞ্চে উঠে সবার সামনে ভাষণ দিতে শুরু করলেন তখন অডিয়েন্স তার দিকে ডিম ছুড়ে মেরেছিল। সেদিন ২ মিনিটের বেশি মঞ্চে দাঁড়িয়ে থাকতে পারেন নি। ব্যাপারটা কার্নেগী মেনে নিতে পারেন নি। এরপর থেকে তিনি ভাষণ দেয়ার অনুশীলন শুরু করলেন। যেখানে সেখানে গিয়ে ভাষণ দিতেন। রাতের বেলা নির্জন ল্যাম্প পোস্টের সামনে দাঁড়িয়ে ভাষণ দিতেন। ফাঁকা হল রুমে দাঁড়িয়ে ঘণ্টার পর ঘণ্টা একা একা কথা বলে যেতেন। তার পরের গল্পে ডেল কার্নেগীকে আমরা সবাই চিনি। ... জর্জ বার্নার্ড শ কে সর্বকালের সেরা নোবেল রাইটার বলা হয়। তিনি নিয়মিত ২০ পৃষ্ঠা করে লিখতেন। কোন দিন লিখা বাদ পড়লে পরের দিন পুষিয়ে নিতেন ৪০ পৃষ্ঠা লিখে রাখতেন। তার চেষ্টার ফলে তিনি সর্বকালের সেরা নোবেল রাইটার হতে পেরেছেন। ... একবার টমাস আলভা এডিসন কে জিজ্ঞেস করা হয়েছিল, বৈদ্যুতিক বাতি আবিস্কার করতে তিনি কি পরিমান চেষ্টা করেছিলেন? এডিসন বলেছিলেন, আমি প্রায় হাজার তিনেক বার চেষ্টার পর বাতির জন্য একটা উপযুক্ত ফিলামেন্ট তৈরি করতে সক্ষম হয়েছিলাম। ... এক বালকের খুব ইচ্ছা হয়েছিল সে বুয়েটে পড়বে। কিন্তু সে অংকেই কাঁচা। খুব কম বোঝে অংক। স্যার কে গিয়ে নিজের স্বপ্নের কথা বলল। স্যার বললেন, অংকে যারা ভালো না, তাদের জন্য বুয়েট না। শুরু হয়ে গেলো ঝড়। ছেলেটা সারাদিন অংক নিয়ে পড়ে থাকত। অংক প্রথমে বুঝার চেষ্টা করত। না বুঝলে, দেখে দেখে খাতায় লিখতে রাখত। ভুলেও মুখস্ত করে না। বার বার বুঝার চেষ্টা করত। এই চেষ্টা করতে করতেই ছেলে বুয়েটে চান্স পেয়ে যায় একদিন। ... আমি দুঃখিত। যারা বলেন এটা সম্ভব না, ওটা সম্ভব না, তাদের সাথে একমত হতে পারি না। অসম্ভব হচ্ছে সেটাই যেটাকে আপনি 'অসম্ভব' করে রেখেছেন। দুর্বলতা ঈশ্বর প্রদত্ত। কিন্তু দুর্বলতাকে অতিক্রম করার ক্ষমতা প্রতিটা মানুষেরই আছে। পৃথিবীর ৭০০ কোটি মানুষের মাঝেই ঈশ্বর সফল হওয়ার জন্য ৭০০ কোটি আইটেম রেখে দিয়েছেন। শুধু খুঁজে বের করার অপেক্ষা। এবার একটা কথা বলি,কেন ১০০ জনের মধ্যে ১ জন সাকসেসফুল হয়,সাক্সেস্ফুল মানুষরা ফেসবুকের মোটিভেশনাল পোস্ট গুলো পড়ে না,তারা হুদাই সোলাইমান সুখন বা আয়মান সাদিকের একটা বানী শুনে মোটিভেটেড হয়ে যায় না।তারা এত বোকা না যে একজনের সুন্দর করে বলা একটা কথায় সম্পূর্ণ জীবন পরিবর্তন করে ফেলবে। বুদ্ধিমানরা একটা কথা শুনে হুট করে সিদ্ধান্ত নেয় না,কারণ তারা জানে ,এই মোটিভেশন বানায় উচু শেণির লোকেরা,এবং তারা কখনোই চায় না তাদের লেভেলে কেউ উঠে আসুক।আমরা আপামর জনগণ নব্য তারুণ্যের শক্তিতে তাদের ফাদে পা দেই। জীবন পরিবর্তন করা এত সহজ নয়।তাই সবাই বিল গেটস,জুকারবার্গ হতে পারে না।বিল গেটস কয়টা মোটিভেশনাল সেমিনারে গিয়েছেন বলতে পারবেন? বাস্তব জীবনে জয়ী হতে হলে সংশয়বাদী হন,এই পোস্টের কথাও ১০০ পারসেন্ট বিশ্বাস করবেন না,ক্ষুরধার বুদ্ধি তৈরী করুন,পা ফেলার আগে দশবার চিন্তা করুন,সব পসিবল সিনারিও ক্যালকুলেট করে এরপর মুভ দেন।বোকার মত পন স্যাক্রিফাইস করার মত কোন মানে হয় না।

Close your mouth. 🙊 Going on a holiday? Close your mouth. 🙊 Going to do a course? Close your mouth. 🙊 Got promoted? Close your mouth. 🙊 99% of the time the reason when our dreams/visions don't come true when they are supposed to, which is because we open our mouth too soon to the wrong people and at the wrong time. We were wrong to share our projects/successes with people who claim to be "friends". The envy and the low key jealousy is enough for people to feed off of and tear down what COULD HAVE BEEN, before it even happens, so... Close your mouth!!! 🙊 The majority of your "friends", want to see you do well but Never better than them!! ( It sounds harsh but it’s the reality) you will face this in your life at every moment when you have the ability to understand this matter. And just a reminder! Even family members have a hidden envy!!! You have to findout them and protect yourself from them. Because they said sweet in front of you but they also your bed wisher... They don't want s to see you are happy.. So be careful from themself.. But, they can't stop what God has for you! 💪🏻👋🏻🙌🏻

মাগফার উদ্দিন চৌধুরী আজাদ-আমাদের গর্ব "ছবির ছেলেটাকে কি চেনেন? বলতে গেলে ঢাকার সবচেয়ে বড় লোক পরিবারের ছেলে ছিল তিনি । তখনকার দিনে যখন ১ম শ্রেণীর অফিসাদের বেতন ছিল খুব বেশি হলে ৫০০-৬০০ টাকা, সে এলভিস প্রিসলির গান শোনার জন্য এক ধাক্কায় ১০০০ টাকার রেকর্ড কিনে আনতো। সিগারেট হিসেবে তখনকার দিনের সব থেকে দামী ব্র‍্যান্ড ছাড়া অন্যটা খেত না। তাদের বাড়িতে অনেক হরিণ ছিল, সরোবরে সাঁতার কাটত ধবল রাজহাঁসেরা, মশলার বাগান থেকে ভেসে আসত দারুচিনির গন্ধ(ডাকে পাখি খোলো আঁখি, এই গানটার শুটিং হয়েছিল তাদের বাড়িতে)। হ্যাঁ,আপনি ঠিক ভেবেছেন আমি মাগফার উদ্দিন চৌধুরী আজাদ এর কথা বলছি। তখন আজাদ ক্লাস সিক্সে পড়ে, সেন্ট গ্রেগরি। ১৯৬০ এর দশক। আজাদের বাবা আরেকটা বিয়ে করবেন বলে ঠিক করলেন ।কিন্তু আজাদের মা বললেন, তুমি বিয়ে করবে না, যদি করো, আমি আমাদের একমাত্র ছেলে আজাদকে নিয়ে বাড়ি থেকে বেরিয়ে যাব। কিন্তু আজাদের বাবা সব বাধা নিষেধ অমান্য করে আরেকটা বিয়ে করলে। আর আজাদের মা সাফিয়া তার বালকপুত্রের হাত ধরে ওই রাজপ্রাসাদ পরিত্যাগ করেন এবং একটা পর্ণকুটীরে আশ্রয় নেন। ছেলেকে লেখাপড়া শেখান। আজাদ ১৯৭১ সালে ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যাল থেকে আর্ন্তজাতিক সম্পর্ক বিভাগ থেকে মাস্টার্স পাস করে। তার বন্ধুরা যোগ দিয়েছে মুক্তিযুদ্ধে, ফিরে এসেছে আগরতলা থেকে, ট্রেনিং নিয়ে। তারা ঢাকায় গেরিলা অপারেশন করে। বন্ধুরা আজাদকে বলল, চল, আমাদের সাথে, অপারেশন করবি। তুই তো বন্দুক পিস্তল চালাতে জানিস। তোর আব্বার তো বন্দুক আছে, পিস্তল আছে, তুই সেগুলো দিয়ে অনেকবার শিকার করেছিস। তাই তোর অভিজ্ঞতাও আছে তাই তোর আলাদা করে শিখতে হবে না। আজাদ বলল, এই জগতে মা ছাড়া আমার আর কেউ নেই, আর মায়েরও আমি ছাড়া আর কেউ নেই। মা অনুমতি দিলেই কেবল আমি যুদ্ধে যেতে পারি।তার আগে নয়। মাকে আজাদ বলল, মা, আমি কি যুদ্ধে যেতে পারি? মা বললেন, নিশ্চয়ই, কেন যেতে পারবেনা তোমাকে আমার প্রয়োজনের জন্য মানুষ করিনি, দেশ ও দশের জন্যই তোমাকে মানুষ করা হয়েছে। আজাদ যুদ্ধে গেল। দুটো অপারেশনে অংশ নিল। তাদের বাড়িতে অস্ত্র লুকিয়ে রাখা হলো। গেরিলারা আশ্রয় নিল। ১৯৭১ সালের ৩০ আগস্ট। ধরা পড়ে ক্র্যাক প্লাটুনের একদল সাহসী মুক্তিযোদ্ধা। সেসময় আজাদকেও আটক করা হয়। তাকে ধরে নিয়ে রাখা হলো রমনা থানা সংলগ্ন ড্রাম ফ্যাক্টরি সংলগ্ন এম.পি হোস্টেলের মিলিটারি টর্চার সেলে। গরাদের ওপারে দাড়িয়ে থাকা আজাদকে তার মা চিনতে পারেন না। প্রচণ্ড মারের চোটে চোখমুখ ফুলে গেছে, ঠোঁট কেটে ঝুলছে, ভুরুর কাছটা কেটে গভীর গর্ত হয়ে গেছে। –“মা, কি করব? এরা তো খুব মারে। স্বীকার করতে বলে সব। সবার নাম বলতে বলে।“ –“বাবা, তুমি কারোর নাম বলোনি তো? –না মা, বলি নাই। কিন্তু ভয় লাগে, যদি আরও মারে, যদি বলে দেই… –বাবারে, যখন মারবে, তুমি শক্ত হয়ে থেকো। সহ্য করো। কারো নাম বলো না। –আচ্ছা মা। ভাত খেতে ইচ্ছে করে। দুইদিন ভাত খাই না। কালকে ভাত দিয়েছিল, আমি ভাগে পাই নাই। –আচ্ছা, কালকে যখন আসব, তোমার জন্য ভাত নিয়ে আসব। সাফিয়া বেগমের ভেতরটা দুমড়ে-মুচড়ে যায়। গায়ে হাত তোলা তো দূরে থাক, ছেলের গায়ে একটা ফুলের টোকা লাগতে দেননি কোনোদিন। সেই ছেলেকে ওরা এভাবে মেরেছে… এভাবে… মুরগির মাংস, ভাত, আলুভর্তা আর বেগুনভাজি টিফিন ক্যারিয়ারে ভরে পরদিন সারারাত রমনা থানায় দাড়িয়ে থাকেন সাফিয়া বেগম, কিন্তু আজাদকে আর দেখতে পাননি। তেজগাঁও থানা, এমপি হোস্টেল, ক্যান্টনমেন্ট-সব জায়গায় খুজলেন, হাতে তখন টিফিন ক্যারিয়ার ধরা, কিন্তু আজাদকে আর খুঁজে পেলেন না। ছেলে একবেলা ভাত খেতে চেয়েছিলেন। মা পারেননি ছেলের মুখে ভাত তুলে দিতে। সেই কষ্ট-যাতনা থেকে পুরো ১৪টি বছর ভাত মুখে তুলেন নি মা! তিনি অপেক্ষায় ছিলেন ১৪ টা বছর ছেলেকে ভাত খাওয়াবেন বলে। বিশ্বাস ছিলো তাঁর আজাদ ফিরবে। ছেলের অপেক্ষায় শুধু ভাতই নয়, ১৪বছর তিনি কোন বিছানায় শোন নি। শানের মেঝেতে শুয়েছেন শীত গ্রীষ্ম কোন কিছুতেই তিনি পাল্টান নি তার এই পাষাণ শয্যা। আর এর মুল কারণ আজাদ রমনা থানায় আটককালে বিছানা পায়নি। প্রজন্ম কিংবদন্তি আজাদদের চিনেনা, চিনে হলিউডের অ্যাকশন চলচ্চিত্র। তাইতো আজো শহীদের মাটিতে পাকিস্তানের প্রতি প্রেম উথলে উঠে বারেবারে। ভালো থাকুক জীবনের প্রেমগুলো। ভালো থেকো কিংবদন্তী।"

"সৎ সঙ্গে স্বর্গবাস।অসৎ সঙ্গে সর্বনাশ।" আইনস্টাইনের যিনি ড্রাইভার ছিলেন, তিনি একবার আইনস্টাইনকে বললেন-- "স্যার, আপনি প্রতিটি সভায় যে ভাষণ গুলো দেন সেগুলো শুনে শুনে আমার মুখস্থ হয়ে গেছে।" আইনস্টাইন তো অবাক!!! উনি বললেন-- "বেশ, এর পরের মিটিংএ যেখানে যাবো তারা আমাকে চেনেন না, তুমি ওখানে আমার হয়ে ভাষণ দিয়ে দিও। আর আমি ড্রাইভার হয়ে বসে থাকব।" যেমনি বলা তেমনি কাজ। পরের দিন সভায় তো ড্রাইভার উঠে গেলেন স্টেজে। হুবহু আইনস্টাইন এর ভাষণ গড় গড় করে বলেতে লাগলেন। উপস্থিত বিদ্বজ্জনেরা তুমুল করতালি দিলেন। এরপর তারা ড্রাইভারকে আইনস্টাইন ভেবেই গাড়িতে পৌঁছে দিতে এলেন। সেই সময়ে একজন অধ্যাপক ড্রাইভারকে জিজ্ঞেস করলেন-- "স্যার, ঐ আপেক্ষিক তত্ত্বের যে সংজ্ঞাটা বললেন, সেটা আরেকবার সংক্ষেপে বুঝিয়ে দেবেন?" আসল আইনস্টাইন দেখলেন এ তো মহাবিপদ! এবার ড্রাইভার ধরা পড়ে যাবে। কিন্তু তিনি ড্রাইভারের উত্তর শুনে তাজ্জব হয়ে গেলেন। ড্রাইভার উত্তর দিলো-- "এই সহজ জিনিসটা আপনার মাথায় ঢোকেনি? আমার ড্রাইভারকে জিজ্ঞেস করুন, সে বুঝিয়ে দেবে।" বিঃদ্রঃ- তাই বলে যদি আপনি জ্ঞানী ব্যাক্তিদের সাথে চলাফেরা করলে আপনিও জ্ঞানী হয়ে উঠবেন। আপনি যেমন মানুষের সাথে মিশবেন ঠিক তেমনই আপনার চরিত্র গড়ে উঠবে। তাই সর্বদা বন্ধু নির্বাচন করার সময় ভালো এবং সৎ বন্ধু নির্বাচন করাই শ্রেয়। কারণ আমরা তাদের কাছথেকে বেশি শিখি। এই জন্যই বলে-- "সৎ সঙ্গে স্বর্গবাস। অসৎ সঙ্গে সর্বনাশ।"

ব্যর্থতা থেকে সফল হওয়ার গল্প এইচএসসি পরীক্ষার মাসছয়েক আগে অজপাড়া গায়ের অখ্যাত কলেজের একজন শিক্ষক শহরের বিখ্যাত কলেজে গিয়ে চ্যালেঞ্জ করে আসলেন, "আপনাদের অমুক ছাত্র নাকি এবার বোর্ডে ফার্স্ট হওয়ার জন্য টার্গেট নিয়েছে? তাহলে তাকে বলে দিয়েন, যদি ফার্স্ট হওয়ার ইচ্ছা থাকে, তাহলে যেন এই বছর এইচএসসি পরীক্ষা না দেয়। কারণ, এই বছর আমার কলেজের গৌরাঙ্গই বোর্ডে ফার্স্ট হবে।" অথচ এই গৌরাঙ্গ ঢাকার নামকরা এক কলেজ থেকে পরপর দুই বছর সাইন্স বিভাগ থেকে এইচএসসি পরীক্ষায় ফেল করেন। তৃতীয়বার গ্রামের এই কলেজে এসে কমার্স নিয়ে ভর্তি হন। এমন একজন ছাত্রকে নিয়ে গৌরব করে বোর্ডে ফার্স্ট হওয়ার চ্যালেঞ্জ করা সত্যিই স্পর্ধার ব্যাপার। আর কেন সেই শিক্ষক এমন স্পর্ধা দেখালেন, সেই গল্পই আজ আমি বলব। গৌরাঙ্গ দেবনাথের জন্ম একটি বিত্তবান পরিবারে। তার বাবার বড় লুঙ্গির ব্যবসা ছিল, যেখানে ৩০ জন কর্মচারী কাজ করতেন। ভাগ্যের নির্মম পরিহাস, প্রাইমারির গণ্ডি পেরুনোর আগেই তার বাবা মারা যান। ইন্টারে পড়ুয়া তার বড় ভাই শত চেষ্টা করেও বাবার ব্যবসাকে টিকিয়ে রাখতে পারলেন না, শুরু হলো তাদের দুঃখ দুর্দশার দিন। বাড়ির অভাব-অনটন দিনকেদিন বাড়তে থাকায় হাইস্কুলে ওঠার পর তার মা তাকে কক্সবাজারে মামার বাসায় পাঠানোর চিন্তা করেন। কিন্তু অন্য শহরে পরে যাওয়ার মতো একটা প্যান্টও ছিল না তার। এক বন্ধুর কাছে ১০ টাকা দিয়ে পুরোনো একটা প্যান্ট কিনে রওনা হলো মামার বাড়ির উদ্দেশ্যে । ভাগ্য সেখানেও তার সহায় হলো না। ১৯৯১ সালের সেই ভয়াবহ ঘূর্ণিঝড়ের পর ফিরে আসেন। এরপর নিজ এলাকার এক হাইস্কুলে এসে ভর্তি হন। গণিতে তিনি এতটাই ভালো ছিলেন যে, গণিত স্যার তাকে দিয়ে বোর্ডে অংক করাতেন। এসসসিতে তার স্কুলের মধ্যে সর্বোচ্চ ৭৯৮ নম্বর পেয়ে তিনি ৫ স্টার গ্রেডে উত্তীর্ণ হন। ইচ্ছা ছিল, ঢাকা কলেজে ভর্তি হওয়ার৷ কিন্তু সে বছর ঢাকা কলেজে আবেদন করার জন্য ন্যূনতম ৮০০ নম্বরের প্রয়োজন ছিল। মাত্র 'দু' নম্বরের ব্যবধান বলে তিনি ভর্তি হতে পারেন। তিনি কলেজে গিয়ে অনুনয়-বিনয়ও করেছিলেন, কিন্তু কোন লাভ হয়নি । পরে পুরান ঢাকার শহীদ সোহরাওয়ার্দী কলেজে ভর্তি হন। সোহরাওয়ার্দী কলেজে ভর্তি হওয়ার পর তিনি বুঝতে পারলেন যে, এই কলেজ তার মতো গরীবদের জন্য নয়। এখানে ক্লাস হয় না কোনো। সবাই প্রাইভেট পড়েই কভার করে। গৌরাঙ্গ তার ভাইকে জানালেন যে, "আমাকে এখান থেকে টিসি নিয়ে গ্রামে পাঠাও, নতুবা আমাকে প্রাইভেট পড়াও।" তখন বড় ভাই তাকে বললেন যে, "তোর গ্রামে যাওয়া হবে না। এখানেই পড়বি। তোকে প্রাইভেট দিব, তবে একমাসের জন্য। এরমধ্যেই যা করার করে নিবি।" ক্লাস না করে ও মাত্র একমাস প্রাইভেট পড়ে ইন্টার পরীক্ষা দিলেন তিনি। যা হওয়ার ছিল, তাই হলো। সবচেয়ে বিস্ময়কর বিষয় এই যে, যে গৌরাঙ্গ গণিতে এত ভালো সেই গৌরাঙ্গ কিনা গণিতেই ফেল করলেন। বাড়ি থেকে সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়া হলো, তাকে আর পড়ানো হবে না। বরং কাজ করে সংসারে সাহায্য করবে। কিন্তু তিনি পড়বেন। এভাবে ছয়মাস সিদ্ধান্ত নিতেই ব্যয় হলো। দ্বিতীয়বার এইচএসসি দেওয়ার জন্য নিজেকে প্রস্তুত করতে লাগলেন তিনি। কিন্তু বিধিবাম, পরেরবারও তিনি ফেইল করলেন। তখনকার সময়ে নিয়ম ছিল, পরপর তিনবার ফেইল না করলে কলেজ থেকে কাগজপত্র তোলা যেত না। গৌরাঙ্গ মনঃস্থির করলেন, যেভাবেই হোক কাগজপত্র তুলে গ্রামে গিয়ে ভর্তি হবেন। কলেজের একজন কর্মচারীর কাছে পরামর্শ চাইলে তিনি বলেন, "অফিসে গেলে অনেকেই টাকা পয়সা চাইবেন, কিন্তু কাজ হবে না। তারচেয়ে বরং আপনি বোর্ড থেকে অমুকের একটা স্বাক্ষর নিয়ে আসেন, আমি কাগজ তুলে দিব।" অফিস খোলার আধাঘণ্টা আগে সেখানে পৌঁছলেন তিনি। হাতে একটা দরখাস্ত। অফিসার সব শুনে বললেন, "এভাবে কাগজপত্র তোলার নিয়ম নেই। আর একবার পরীক্ষা দাও, পাশ করলে তো করলাই, আর না করলে তবুও কাগজপত্র তুলতে পারবা।" শ্রাবণের আকাশ সেদিন অঝোরে কাঁদতে লাগল। অফিসারের রুম থেকে বের হয়ে বাইরেই দাঁড়িয়ে রইলেন তিনি। সকাল ১১টার দিকে একজন কর্মকর্তা তাকে দেখে অফিসে ঢুকেছিলেন, বিকেলে বের হয়েও তাকে ঠাঁই দাঁড়িয়ে থাকতে দেখলেন। সবকিছু শুনে তার মন গলল। তিনি অফিসারকে অনুরোধ করে স্বাক্ষর নিয়ে দিলেন। গল্পের আসল টুইস্ট অপেক্ষা করছে এরপরই। গ্রামে এসে কলেজে ভর্তি হতে ছয়শত টাকা লাগবে, কিন্তু বাড়ি থেকে আর টাকা দিবেই না। এমন সময় এগিয়ে আসেন একই পাড়ার এক বিত্তবান বন্ধু। গৌরাঙ্গকে কলেজে ভর্তি হওয়ার জন্য পাঁচশত টাকা দেয় সে। এই টাকার ব্যাপারে গৌরাঙ্গ দাদা বলেছেন, "আমি আমার নিজ অবস্থান থেকে অনেকের জন্য অনেক কিছু করেছি। কিন্তু ঐ পাঁচশত টাকার ঋণ আজও শোধ করতে পারিনি। কখনোই পারব না।" রাস্তা দিয়ে যখন তিনি হাঁটতেন, গ্রামের ছেলেমেয়েরা তাকে দেখে হাসাহাসি করত। সহপাঠীরা তাকে "আদু ভাই" বলে ডাকত। আজীবন প্রথম বেঞ্চে বসে অভ্যাস তার। কলেজেও প্রথম বেঞ্চে বসতে শুরু করেন, কিন্তু তাকে প্রথম বেঞ্চে দেখলে সহপাঠীরা ঐ বেঞ্চে আর কেউ বসত না। বাড়ি থেকে প্রায় ১৫দিন কলেজ করার পর একদিন রাতে খেতে বসেছেন, তার বড় ভাই মাকে বললেন যে, ওরে ভাত দিও না। ওরে ছাই খাইতে দাও।" তিনি সিদ্ধান্ত নিলেন, বাড়িতে আর থাকবেন না৷ এই কঠিন সময়েও তার এক কলেজ ফ্রেন্ড এবং এলাকার এক বড় ভাই তাকে অনুপ্রেরণা দেন। বুকে সাহস সঞ্চয় করিয়ে দিয়ে বলেন যে, তুই পারবি। শুধু লেগে থাক। কলেজের এক স্যারকে অনুরোধ করে লজিংয়ের ব্যবস্থা করে নেন। সেসময় বাড়ির ছেলেমেয়েকে দুই বেলা পড়ানো ও কলেজে ক্লাস করা- এসব বাদ দিয়ে তিনি দিনে ১০ঘণ্টা করে পড়তেন। যতক্ষণ অব্দি ১০ঘণ্টা হয়নি, ঘুমোতে যেতেন না। কিছুদিনের মধ্যেই তিনি বুঝতে পারেন যে, এই বাড়ির আর্থিক অবস্থা তেমন ভালো না। শুধু স্যারের কথা রাখতে গিয়েই তাকে লজিং রেখেছেন। তাই একসময় তিনি সেই বাসা থেকে চলে আসেন৷ এবার ওঠেন তার এক বান্ধবীর বাসায়। তাদের দোতালা বাড়ি ছিল। সেখানে একটা ঘরে থেকে পড়াশোনা করতে থাকেন। এদিকে গ্রামের মানুষ নানান কুৎসা রটাতে থাকে। ফলে সেই বাসাও ছেড়ে দিতে হয়। এবার তিনি অকূল পাথারে পড়ে যান। কলেজ কর্তৃপক্ষকে অনুরোধ করেন হোস্টেলে একটা সিটের জন্য, কিন্তু হোস্টেলে কোনো সিট ফাঁকা নেই। পরে সহপাঠীদের এভাবে ম্যানেজ করে একটা সিটের বন্দোবস্ত হয় যে, আমি সারাটাদিন বাইরে থাকব, শুধু রাতে একটু থাকার জায়গা হলেই হবে। থাকার চিন্তার ইতি ঘটল। এবার শুরু হলো খাওয়ার চিন্তা। হোস্টেলে প্রতিবেলা খেতে ১০টাকা করে লাগত। কিন্তু তার কাছে একটা কানাকড়িও ছিল না। এমনও সময় গেছে, দুইদিন-তিনদিন ধরে শুধু পানি খেয়ে ছিলেন। কলেজের অদূরেই এক জেঠাতো বোনের বাসা ছিল, দুই-তিনদিন পর তার বাসায় যেতেন। ভাই আসছে বলে বোন খেতে দিত, ওটুকু খেয়েই দিনযাপন করছিলেন। এমন সময় এক শিক্ষকের কল্যাণে পাঁচ কিলোমিটার দূরে একটা টিউশনি পান। ছাত্রের বড় ভাই বিদেশে থাকে, মাসে ৫০০ করে টাকা দিবেন। গৌরাঙ্গ লুফে নেন এই সুযোগ। এবার তিনি হোস্টেলে একবেলা করে খেতে শুরু করেন, বাকি টাকা জমিয়ে রাখতেন, যদি কখনো টিউশনি চলে যায়, তখন যেন কিছুদিন চলতে পারেন। ছাত্রের বাসা যাওয়ার পথে একটা নদী পড়ত, সেই নদী পাড় হতে ২টাকা ভাড়ার প্রয়োজন ছিল। টিউশনিতে তিনি একটা গামছা নিয়ে যেতেন। যাওয়ার সময় নৌকা করেই নদী পাড় হতেন, কিন্তু ফেরার পথে সাঁতরে আসতেন। তার মুখেই শুনুন, "সাঁতরে এ কারণেই আসতাম যে, নৌকা না চড়লে ৩০দিনে আমার ৬০টাকা বাঁচবে। আর ৬০টাকা হলে আমি ৬বেলা খেতে পারব।" হোস্টেলে যে সময়টা ছিলেন, একটা দিনও তিনি সকালের মিল খাননি। বন্ধুদের বলতেন, "ডাক্তার আমাকে সকালে খেতে বারণ করেছেন।" বন্ধুরা যখন খেত, তখন তিনি বাইরে বেরিয়ে যেতেন। এত প্রতিবন্ধকতার মাঝেও তিনি কলেজে ভালো রেজাল্ট করতে থাকেন। দুর্ভাগ্যবশতঃ অন্যান্য মেধাবী ছাত্রকে কলেজ থেকে বৃত্তি প্রদান করা হলেও তাকে দেওয়া হতো না, কারণ তিনি ফেইল করা ছাত্র। এক শিক্ষকের অনুরোধে কলেজ কর্তৃপক্ষ তার প্রতি সদয় হোন। ফলে তার আর খাওয়ার চিন্তাও রইল না। টেস্ট পরীক্ষা শেষ হলো। এরই মাঝে তার এক স্যার বাইরের কলেজে গিয়ে প্রথম প্যারার সেই ঘোষণা দিয়ে আসলেন। তারপর তাকে ডেকে বললেন, "গৌরাঙ্গ, আমি এভাবে বলে আসছি। তুই আমার মান রাখিস।" স্যারের কথা তার মনে প্রভাব ফেলল। এখন তার থাকারও চিন্তা নেই, খাওয়ারও চিন্তা নেই, টিউশনিও নেই কোনো।। দিনে ২২ঘণ্টা(!) করে পড়তে শুরু করলেন। হ্যাঁ ভাই, ঠিকই পড়েছেন, ২২ ঘণ্টা! এক থেকে দেড় ঘণ্টা ঘুমোতেন, বাকি পুরোটা সময় পড়তেন। বোর্ডিং গিয়ে খাবার আনলে যেতে-আসতে দুই-তিন মিনিট সময় নষ্ট হবে জন্য, কাজের বুয়া তার ঘরে খাবার দিয়ে যেত! বাড়ি থেকে মাত্র ৩-৪ কি.মি. দূরে থাকা সত্ত্বেও এই দুটো বছরে তিনি বাড়ি গিয়েছিলেন মাত্র দু'বার। একবার মায়ের অসুস্থতার খবর শুনে, আরেকবার পরীক্ষার আগের দিন মায়ের সাথে দেখা করতে। এছাড়া মাঝেমাঝে পাশের বাজারে গিয়ে বাড়ির খোঁজখবর জেনে আসতেন। ইতোমধ্যে গতবছর তার ছোট ভাই এইচএসসিতে কুমিল্লা বোর্ডে সপ্তম হয়েছেন। গৌরাঙ্গের মাথায় সবসময় কাজ করত, অন্তঃত ছোট ভাইয়ের চেয়ে ভালো রেজাল্ট করতে হবে। এমতাবস্থায় পরীক্ষার আগের দিন তার মা যখন বললেন যে, "এমন রেজাল্ট করবি, যেন অমুকের মতো সাংবাদিকরা এসে ছবি তুলে নিয়ে যায়", তখন প্রথম হওয়ার সংকল্পটা আরও দৃঢ় হয়ে যায়। তার ছোট ভাই নিজের বন্ধুবান্ধবদের কাছ হতে অনেক বই সংগ্রহ করে তাকে দিয়ে সাহায্য করেন। পরীক্ষার কিছুদিন আগের ঘটনা। স্যার তাকে ডেকে জিজ্ঞেস করলেন, - অমুক বইয়ে ৫৫টা প্রশ্ন আছে, সবগুলো পড়েছিস তো? - ৫৪টা পড়েছি, স্যার। স্যার তখন রাগে তাকে দুটো থাপ্পড় মারলেন। - স্যার, পরীক্ষায় ১০টা প্রশ্ন আসবে, উত্তর করতে হবে ৫টা। এটা সহ আসলেও তো আমার ৯টা প্রশ্ন কমন থাকবে। স্যার তখন আরও একটা থাপ্পড় দিয়ে বললেন, "এটাও মুখস্থ করতে হবে।" যথারীতি পরীক্ষা শুরু হলো। গৌরাঙ্গের সিট পড়ল শেষবেঞ্চে। তিনি এসে মেজিস্ট্রেটের কাছে কেঁদে কেঁদে বললেন, "স্যার, আমি সামনের বেঞ্চ ছাড়া পরীক্ষা দিতে পারি না।" মেজিস্ট্রেট সিট বদল করে দিলেন এবং প্রতিটি পরীক্ষায় এসে তার খোঁজ নিতেন। হলগার্ডকে বলে দিয়েছিলেন যে, গৌরাঙ্গকে যেন কেউ ডিস্টার্ব না করে! আপনি জেনে অবাক হবেন, যেদিন পরীক্ষার রেজাল্ট বের হয়, সেদিন মেজিস্ট্রেট নিজেই তাদের কলেজে এসেছিলেন শুধু গৌরাঙ্গের রেজাল্ট জানার জন্য। তখনকার সময় নিয়ম ছিল, বোর্ডে যে ফার্স্ট হতো, রেজাল্টের দিনই বিটিভিতে তার সাক্ষাৎকার নেওয়া হতো। রেজাল্টের কয়েকদিন আগেই গৌরাঙ্গ ঢাকায় তার স্যারের বাসায় চলে যান। রেজাল্টের আগের রাতে তিনি একটা ভালো শার্ট আয়রন করে এনে রাখেন, যাতে সেটা পরে সাক্ষাৎকার দিতে যেতে পারেন। চিন্তা করুন একবার, কী পরিমাণ আত্মবিশ্বাস! রেজাল্টের দিন সকালবেলা তিনি বাইরে চলে যান। বাসায় এসে স্যারের স্ত্রীর মুখে জানতে পারেন, তিনি অষ্টম হয়েছেন। মন পুরোই খারাপ হয়ে যায় তার। একটুপর স্যার ফোন করে গৌরাঙ্গকে বলেন, "তুমি আমার মান রেখেছ, তুমি ফার্স্ট হয়েছ বোর্ডে।" নিজের কানকেই যেন বিশ্বাস করতে পারছিলেন না তিনি। স্যারের স্ত্রী অবাক হয়ে স্যারকে বললেন, "তাহলে যে তুমি বললে যে, গৌরাঙ্গ অষ্টম হয়েছে?" স্যারের প্রত্যুত্তরটি আপনার শরীরে শিহরণ জাগাতে বাধ্য। তিনি বললেন,"আমি এটা চাইনি যে, গৌরাঙ্গ ফার্স্ট হয়েছে, এটা সে আমি ছাড়া অন্য কারও মুখ থেকে শুনুক!" গল্পের খানিকটা এখনো বাকি আছে। এরপর মাত্র ২৫-২৬ দিনের প্রিপারেশন নিয়ে তিনি ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ম্যানেজমেন্ট বিভাগে ভর্তি হোন। এটা ২০০০ সালের ঘটনা। ম্যানেজমেন্টের একটা ম্যাথের বই ১৯৭৪ সাল হতে পড়ানো হতো, যেটার কোনো সল্যুশন বের হয়নি। তিনি দ্বিতীয় বর্ষে থাকাকালীন সেই ম্যাথের বইটার সল্যুশন বের করেন। বইটিতে ইন্টিগ্রেশন, ডিফারেন্সিয়েশন ইত্যাদি জটিল জটিল বিষয় ছিল, যা সাধারণত কমার্সের ছাত্ররা পড়ে না। কিন্তু গৌরাঙ্গের মাথায় একটা জেদ কাজ করত যে, আমি গণিতে ফেল করেছি! গণিতকে আমি দেখে নিব! যে গৌরাঙ্গ একসময় মাত্র ২টাকা বাঁচানোর জন্য সাঁতরে নদী পাড় হতো, সেই গৌরাঙ্গ এরপর শুধু প্রাইভেট পড়িয়ে মাসে লাখ লাখ টাকা আয় করতে শুরু করেন। তিনি ১৫০ জন ছাত্রছাত্রীকে পড়াতেন, তন্মধ্যে ৫০ জনকে ফ্রি পড়াতেন। কারণ, জীবনে টাকার ক্রাইসিসটা তিনি খুব ভালো করে অনুধাবন করেছেন। ঢাবি থেকে অনার্স-মাস্টার্স কম্পলিট করে তিনি সম্পূর্ণ নিজের টাকায় লন্ডন থেকে ডিগ্রি নিয়ে আসেন। এরপর কর্মজীবনে যোগ দেন ডেফোডিল ইন্টারন্যাশনাল ইউনিভার্সিটিতে। সেখানে কয়েকবছর শিক্ষকতা করে ভারতে গিয়ে পিএইচডি করে আসেন। বর্তমানে তিনি সেখানকার ডিপার্টমেন্টাল হেড হিসেবে কর্মরত আছেন। এই সুদীর্ঘ লেখাটি যারা কষ্ট করে পড়লেন এতক্ষণ যাবত, তাদের প্রতি একটাই অনুরোধ থাকবে, জীবনে কখনো আশাহত হবেন না। সৃষ্টিকর্তা যা করেন, মঙ্গলের জন্যই করেন। আপনার কাজ শুধু সৎভাবে শ্রম দিয়ে যাওয়া। গৌরাঙ্গ দেবনাথ এটাই বলছিলেন যে, "আমি যদি প্রথমবারেই পাশ করতাম, তাহলে হয়তো আজকের এই অবস্থানে থাকতাম না।" জীবনে চড়াই-উতরাই আসবেই। এসব পেরিয়ে যারা অভিষ্ট লক্ষ্যে পৌঁছতে পারবে, তারাই একমাত্র জীবনে সফল হবে। ইতিহাসে তাদের নাম জ্বলজ্বল হরফে লেখা থাকবে। আর যদি আপনি হাল ছেড়ে দেন, তাহলে ব্যর্থতার চোরাবালিতে ডুবে যাবেন। জীবন আপনার, তাই সিদ্ধান্তও আপনার। ভেবে দেখুন, ইতিহাস হবেন? নাকি হারিয়ে যাবেন অন্ধকারের অতল গহ্বরে! সত্যি গৌরাঙ্গ দেবনাথ আমাদের কাছে সফলতার এক উজ্জ্বল দৃষ্টান্ত স্থাপন করেছেন । জ জীবনে যতই চরাই উতরাই আসুন না কেন আপনি যদি একাগ্রতার সাথে এগিয়ে যান তাহলে সফলতা আপনার একদিন আসবেই.....

Craft is life Hello everyone... good afternoon...how are you all? Hope all of you are well by the grace of Almighty god. I'm also well.. Today i'm coming to share with you about some of my craft work. This all of this craft is not only my work Its also my brother work also. My brother is a teacher of art and craft work. He start his teaching Profession from some days age he have a lost of students. But in this lockdown situation he do his work in online so i do this all craft for his students how are just start to teach craft work. I always try to help him in his work. It's also make me happy at any time. When i was so much upset this time this craft make my smile back. From my childhood i love to do something new in everyday. But somehow i can't do this at first. My mom also said me if you try and try you can do it. Then i also try to do something new. I have not much friend in my life because i can't give them much time. So anyone don't wants to except me as a friend. That's why i was alone all time. I have only one friend who can understand me. Yes I wanna discussed about kidney.. Let's start.. What is kidney? The **kidneys** are two bean-shaped organs, which each about the size of a fist. They are located just below that the rib cage, and one on each side of your spine. Healthy **kidneys** filter about a half cup of blood every minute, and also removing wastes and extra water to make urine. How can we take care of it? **1.be active -** try to be active all time and continue your everyday walking, yuga and physical exercises . Its can maintain of you blood pressure and diabetic wich are the main reason of kidney problem. There are 30% people who have diabetes. **2.Check your blood sugar -** you have to maintain your sugar level. High range of blood sugar can damage kidney. If your blood sugar level are ok then your kidney will be happy **3. Maintain your blood pressure -** High level of blood pressure are the another reason of kidney failure. You have to maintain your blood pressure under 140/90. High pressure can damage your kidney. **4. Eat healthy food -** Always try to maintain a healthy balance diet chart. Which can help you to maintain you and happy your kidney. **5. Drink water -** water can helps us to happy our kidney and its helps kidney to maintain it's work properly. So you have to maintain it. You have to drink at last 1 to 2 liter water everyday. Cricketers need more then it. **6. Avoid smoking -** smoking can damage kidney. It's increase kidney failure. So we have to avoid it. **7. Don't take painkiller for a long time -** its a another reason of kidney failure. So we have to avoid it for long time use. **8.Check you kidney every year -** It's very important for them who are in danger like who have diabetes, blood pressure, over weight and family background. They have to do this every year... Just follow this then you can maintain your kidney properly. And be healthy always

I'm coming to described to you about gender discrimination. It’s now a common problem for our country. This problem is increase day by day. So now i try to view about this problem picture... What is gender discrimination? Gender discrimination means different between a men and women. Now we live in a modern life but we can see here the problem increase day by day. Specially in third world country , where women are consider inferior to men. Though they have merits and capability to do something new but our so called society don't give them what they are deserve... They work in family and outside also but their contribution is not seen. So that they are also face so many problem in their life like problem is a another friend of their life. What are the causes of gender discrimination? There are so many causes of gender discrimination. Now i try to described it... 1. At first the lack of proper education is the main reason of this problem. Girls family also though that if their girls will educated then their girls will be damage. Education is not for girls it's only for mens. Girls only born to take care of their husband and family. 2. Secondly the superstation is also the main reason of gender discrimination. 3.Thirdly our social viewed is another causes of it. Our so called society don't wants to educate any girls and they wants to girls will closed under a home. 4. Men and women have to equal right to survive but men try to dominated women. Its a another reason of it. Now women though that they are not equal with men. They are burden for their family. So they try to close them in a room. And they don't get proper cloth and food. So it's really so much irritating. What are the bad impact of it? There are many bad impact of it. If we neglected the women then we neglected the half of the population that maintain our house. Our social and national development is never possible keeping them ideal at home. This a very common problem which is we must be solve as soon as possible.. How can we change the situation? At first our government have to take some immediate step to removed this problem. Then we should make public awareness to solve this problem. Then mass media can play an important role to solve this and make public awareness . And last one we should change our mentality to remove this we have to understand women are also equal with boys. It's now a very common problem for our country. So let's started the discussion... What is dowry system? Dowry means some of money and property that a bride give to her husband as a condition of marriage.. Dowry system is a very shameful matter of our country. This system mostly find out in village side area and their people are though that girls is their gravity for their family. They have to marriage their girls children as soon as possible. With so many dowry which his daughter husband demand. It's mostly seen in Bangladesh and India. What are the reason behind the dowry system? There are so many reason of dowry system. First of all, this system is comes from hindu communitys where husband also demand so many things and the father of a daughter also fulfil their demand. It's now a tradition for everu hindu marriage. Where father also marriage their children with so many money and property. Secondly there is a group of greedy people who have a greedy mentality . They think that it's their right to demand bride father a lots of things to educated their bridegroom . Thirdly social culture are also responsible for this. It's now a very common problem for Bangladesh and India. What are the effect of dowry system? There are so many effect of dowry system.... Like.. 1.it's a common problem for a poor bride family to arrange all things. 2.Bride family also face so many problem in the marriage. 3. When the bride family fail to pay the demand of groom then the bride face so many problem in her father in laws home. 4.its causes women face torture from their husband. 5. Some of time It's cause women death. 6.It's also make bride family under the proverty line. What we do to stop this system? Female are also human being like men. They should not be brought and sold like commodities. But it's a matter of sorrow that women are treated like commodities. So we have to stop this system as soon as possible.. So let's start to see the method of omelet muffin.... 🤤🤤 Ingredients : **For 4 person** 1.Egg -4 pcs 2.carrot -1pcs 3.onions -1pcs 4.green chilli -3pcs (if you life much spicy then you can added more 2) 5.Sweet corn (boiled)-2spoon 6.salt 1/2 spoon 7.black-pepper 1/4 spoon 8.coriander leaves 9.tomato -1pcs 10.mozzarella cheese 1/4 cup Method : 1.At first take a boll and chapped all the ingredients with a small pieces. 2.Then take 4 pieces of egg and break them in a boll. And added salt and black-pepper then mixed them well... 3. Now added all vegetables one by one and mixed them well. You have to mixed there mozzarella cheese also 4.take a cup cake pan and brush the pen with oil... 5. Now full the pan with the mixtures. 6.Now take a frypan and on your gas and let it warm fr 10 minutes. 7.Now you can put the cup cake pan in the frypan and closed it well.. 8.Cooked it on medium flame 10- 15 minutes. Food Adulteration Bangladesh is a small country with huge population. So here a lots of problem are moving all around. Food adulteration is also one of the common problem in now a days. Now i described about it.... **What is food adulteration?** **Food adulteration** means mixing unhygienic and inferior material with food . Lowing food quality by mixing inferior ingredients and substance with food. Now it's increased day by day. This is mainly do for earn more profit by some of dishonest business man. Now it's became one of the most common problem in Bangladesh. **What are the causes of food adulteration?** There are so many reason of food adulteration. Firstly, to gain more and more profit is also the main reason of food adulteration. Secondly , the businessman do this to attracted customs... So they add some low quality colour and materials with food. That's why the food looks fresh and hygiene... Thirdly, to preserve food for a log time. Because if food preserve a long time then they seals this food for a long time. So they mixed food with preservative for preserve a long time. It's so harmful for our life. **What are the effect of food adulteration?** There are many bad Impacts of food adulteration on our health. Adulterate food can harmful for our digestion system. So that we can face so many people. Like dysentery, diarrhoea cancer, kidney failure, liver damage , blood problem, high blood pressure ect. This low quality food slowly damage our body and comes to our death line... This problem is going out of control day by day... How can we solved food adulteration problem? We have to do something for this problem as soon as possible otherwise it will be late. At first our government have to come to solve this problem. Government should take some immediate step to removed this problem as soon as possible. We all should conscious about food. We should must making sure about having any food. Government have to give some rules with strictly. If government strictly do this then this problem will removed as early as possible.
