poem BUTTERFLY-------------------------I was once a butterfly I shine with my color I fly with honor I was a happy spirit With a joyful heart Then one day I can’t fly anymore My spirit is crushed My glow fades away And I can’t find my way My wings lost vigor My heart is broken My hope is stolen I ask myself Where did I go wrong? The glitter in my eyes Has turned into tears The smile on my face Has turned into grief Suddenly I’m lost I lost my passion I stop writing The ink in my pen Has gone dry And I wonder why The sunset in the sky Has lost its magic When I look at it I am reminded of myself Lost, broken and hurt I’m drowning in sadness I’m lost in the darkness I’m scared and alone I have no choice left But to get some rest I’m a butterfly I’m meant to die But I’ll return someday With a different color And with a new smile
