Righteous Sultan

During his expedition to Austria, Sultan Suleiman stopped at a non-Muslim village. The village was adorned with flowers and surrounded by eye-catching beauty. When an Ottoman soldier from the village garden saw grapes hanging in bunches and wanted to eat, he looked for the owner of the garden. But not finding it, the soldier took a bunch of grapes and left with the price of grapes in the right place.

Sulaiman with his bodyguard toured the enchanting village full of natural beauty. Then the owner of the garden addressed the Christian man to Sultan Sulaiman and said, "May victory be your ideal soldier." The man told Sultan about the incident as Sultan Sulayman did not understand anything. He found the Ottoman coin on top of his garden box, which he had left behind to pick grapes.

When Sulaiman realized that grapes were being plucked from the garden without permission. He immediately called the soldiers and forbade them to take part in the next operation.

When the Christian man was surprised and asked the Sultan's instructions, he said, "Jahpana, the soldier did not commit such a crime!" It is true that he tore the grapes without informing them, but he has left the appropriate price.

Sulaiman replied, "The victory or defeat of the war depends on the moral condition of the soldiers. If the army had not kept the coin for the price of grapes, the whole Ottoman army would have been condemned. In that case, I would have beheaded him. But when he left the coin, his "I saved his life from death. But I cut him off from the vineyard without the permission of the gardener and acted against his morals, so I stopped him from participating in the next war, and that is his punishment."

Fascinated by this extraordinary righteousness, Christian leader Martin Luther King Jr. expressed his historic sentiment, "Lord, soon send among us a ruler like the Turks, so that we may have a share in your divine righteousness."

"It is illegal to oppose the Turks who are spreading justice all over the world," he added.
