The Calm before the Storm
A small step back after so many excellent results: the last brawl ended with a sixth place out of nine participants.
That's a discouraging result for the valiant members of the EDSF Guild, especially after fighting in the last weeks for the top places.
However, we should not be discouraged: Splinterlands is a game that requires a bit of luck, especially if you look at the individual games and not at the overall result.
It happens, and one should not give up, to have sometimes lower (or higher) performance than one might expect.
Let's therefore make the most of this under-the-average brawl and prepare ourselves mentally for the next challenge!
The sixth position led to some slightly more modest prizes than usual, but still absolutely useful and appreciable: 831 points of merits and 12.764 staked SPS.
The first three places went to:

Brawl match by Arc7icWolf - the Summoners available are very few and both players opted for Thaddius Brood, supported by some of the most well-known monsters of the Death element of the Chaos Legion set: at first glance the line-ups appeared similar, but mine boasted creatures that were faster and had abilities capable of targeting the enemy backlines. This made all the difference, turning what appeared to be a close game into a complete victory in my favor.
Brawl match by Libertycrypto27 - after the absence from the previous edition, @libertycrypto27 came back to fight and didn't fail to end as one of the best players: focusing a lot on speed, he managed to quickly eliminate the enemy creature with the ability taunt and, than, he could make the most of the equal opportunity ruleset, which gave all creatures the lethal ability opportunity. The opponent was immediately in trouble and couldn't resist more than a few turns!
Brawl match by Lozio71 - @lozio71 deployed a high-level team, strong of many attackers: on the other side, the opponent opted for a smaller formation, protected by a tank with the taunt ability. However, this one was unable to oppose the ferocious attackers of the player of the EDSF Guild for more than one turn and, once this obstacle was eliminated, he overwhelmed the remaining creatures without any difficulty!
Before a big undertaking, there's often an apparent calm: let's gather our strength and get ready for the next brawl!

Un piccolo passo indietro dopo tanti ottimi risultati: l'ultima brawl si è infatti conclusa con un sesto posto che, su nove partecipanti, sta un po' stretto ai valorosi membri della Gilda EDSF, soprattutto dopo essersi abituati a lottare per il podio.
Non c'è però da scoraggiarsi: Splinterlands è un gioco che richiede anche un pizzico di fortuna, soprattutto se si guarda alle singole partite e non ai risultati nel loro complesso.
Capita, quindi, è non c'è da abbattersi, di avere prestazioni inferiori (o superiori) a quelle che ci si potrebbe aspettare: ciò non deve scoraggiare, ma servire come trampolino di lancio verso risultati ancora più grandi!
Approfittiamo, perciò, di un posizionamento al di sotto delle aspettative per prepararci mentalmente alla prossima sfida!
La sesta posizione comporta la distribuzione di premi un po' più modesti del solito, ma comunque assolutamente utili ed apprezzabili: 831 punti di merits e 12.764 SPS in stake.

Partita brawl di Arc7icWolf - gli Evocatori a disposizione sono pochi ed entrambi i giocatori optano per Thaddius Brood, supportato da alcuni dei più noti mostri dell'elemento Morte presenti nell'espansione Chaos Legion: a prima vista gli schieramenti appaiono simili, ma il mio vanta creature più veloci e munite di abilità capaci di bersagliere le retrovie nemiche. Ciò fa la differenza, trasformando quella che appariva come una partita equilibrata in una completa vittoria in mio favore.
Partita brawl di Libertycrypto27 - dopo l'assenza della precedente edizione, @libertycrypto27 torna a combattere in prima linea e non manca di conquistarsi un posto sul podio: puntando molto sulla velocità riesce ad eliminare subito la creatura nemica con l'abilità taunt, potendo così sfruttare al massimo il ruleset equal opportunity, che attribuisce a tutte le creature la letale abilità opportunity. L'avversario si trova subito in difficoltà e non riesce ad opporsi che per pochi turni!
Partita brawl di Lozio71 - @lozio71 schiera un team di alto livello, dotato di numerosi attaccanti: dall'altra parte, l'avversario opta per una formazione più ridotta, protetta da una creatura in prima linea dotata dell'abilità taunt. Questa è, però, incapace di opporsi per più di un turno ai feroci attaccanti del giocatore della Gilda EDSF che, eliminato questo ostacolo, travolge le restanti creature senza alcuna difficoltà!
Prima di una grande impresa, spesso si assiste ad un'apparente calma: raccogliamo le forze e prepariamoci ad una nuova brawl!
