Sometimes when they leave you, it's perfectly okay.
Did somebody walk out in your life? Maybe you have a friend or loved one? You loved, you trusted and then suddenly left. Suddenly they left you for someone else? Then if you have a friend who is like that, then this article might be for you. My big message for you today is find a **real, genuine, authentic** friend and let me discuss three types of friends in your life. I got this idea and insight from an author **TD Jakes** and he said that there are three types of people: **Constituents, Comrades and Confidants.**
CONSTITUENTS - A someone who is not really into you. **They are just with you and for you as long as the benefit from you. They walk with you, they will be by your side**. But the moment they see other people that they can get more there with that person, what they get from you they can leave you. And in the first place they are not really for you. They just there for the benefit, that why we called constituent. For example: In politics, the people under the mayors or congressmen are called constituents and those voters, they have voted for that person because they can benefit from that person. And the moment somebody else, a new politician arrives and they feel they will benefit more then they move to the other side because they are constituents. COMRADES -A comrade is not really into you but they are against what you are against. **They are for what you are fighting for.** You can have a mission, you have a goal and then they will join your common goal and these people they are not really also with you because they benefit from you. You both have the same fight. For example: There are environmentalists, their friends are their friends who are trying to save the planet by not using plastics, that is your comrade because you have a common goal. Constituents and comrades are not really your friends. **So don’t be surprised when they leave you, when they walk away from you because they are not really meant to be with you forever.** Because people are like scaffolding, when there is a building being constructed, sometimes they put that skeletal structure on the side and then while the building is being constructed, it is only there until such time that the building is finished, it will be removed again the scaffolding. You see? **There are people in your life who are not meant to stay forever. There are people who are just meant to stay there temporarily and** when their purpose is fulfilled, they will simply be taken away from your life. `Sometimes other people, God just puts them in our lives, God lends them so that we can be stronger, greater, better and so we can also learn from those types of people.` **So, the ex who hurt you, the people who disappointed you, the ones who cheated on you in business, sometimes they are just there to make you stronger and better. So don't be upset if they leave** because they were never really your friends in the first place. So what do you need to do? Here’s the third type of friend. CONFIDANTS You need to distinguish who you real friends are and this is what we call the **confidants.** -A confidant is somebody is a friend who are really into you and they will love you unconditionally. They will accept you for who you are. They will not judge you but they are also weep when you weep, they rejoice when you rejoice. You know you will know if your friend is really your friend. You know how? When you succeed. **When you are reaching the ladder of success, when they are happy, they are probably your true friends because they are not envious of you.** They are happy for you. And most important, a real friend, a confidant is somebody who will not be ashamed to correct you, when you are going out your way.
How about you? Do you have a confidant in your life? You know, they say if you have 2 to 3 people who are confidants in your life, you are one blessed person. **FIND SOMEBODY WHO CAN BE YOUR REAL and AUTHENTIC FRIEND WHO WILL LOVE YOU UNCONDITIONALLY.** After all, in this life we don’t really need much of success. What we really need, our deepest need is to be known and to be loved. Does anyone know you? Introduce yourself to others. If not, TRY TO FIND A **FRIEND AND TRY TO BE A FRIEND.** And hopefully, you will find one. Find a real confidant and you will thrive in this life. I hope you learned a lesson today. Thank you for your advance support.
