precise and eloquent piece of literature. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!! That is soooooo funny!!!!!!!! I litterally fell of my chair i laughed so hard!!!!! Ahum... eeehm... right.... Hi there! Been there long? Just forget what just... Let's... right. `Hey want some good content? Then these people got you covered!! Check them out!` So, everyone smiling? In a happy mood? Good, lemme fix that. I'm a bit less enthausiastic than usual and maybe I'd be right to call the mood depressed. The annoying thing is that I'm unable to identify anything that would justifiy feeling this down. The worst thing I can figure is that I've lost another sponsor. I've lost sponsors before and it didn't bother me as much before. So either my depressed feelings come from something else or the loss of the Sponsor hits me harder than before. I should figure out which is the case. At least that's what i was thinking about an hour or two ago, but two hours is a long time, especially with an episode of the Orville I have not seen yet ready to go. https://youtu.be/FrfvAWDQz1I Somehow didn't do me much good on the mood front though. Somehow the Orville episode pissed me off. And i know that if i tell you why i got pissed off a lot of you will hate me. You'll think I'm some kid of biggot, `mysiagigisist`(*) or some other -ist people don't like en masse. http://kapot.ga As i finished that last paragraph, i realized i was being stupid telling y'all what i told you. It's not like there was ever going to be a virgin's chance at a Bilderberg conference of me not telling you anyway. Coz you know i am... So why did I tell you anyway? You'd almost think it was stuffing to beef up the content of some article. Good thing y'all know me and trust me enough to say with confidence that such a thing would never even occur to me! I am humbled and greatful by your trust. Thank you. Well, i got pissed because it was one of those (obligatory?) woke episodes, and i wanted to hate it, but danmit…it was a good frikking episode that even made me tear up! This woke was the gender one, with Topa the Mocklan's Daughter, then Son and now daughter again. I do wonder if its wise to, basicly, tell kids that you can switch back and forth betweeen boy and girl and that it is so important that it defines you and your life. Anyway that's not what I meant to talk about. It was a good episode, let's end it there. And until about 3 hours ago thát was what i was going to write about. About the Mocklan episodes, the Orville and stuff like that. But ofcourse that was not taking into account the visitor I had who wanted to know; "Hey you were the one that liked Glennfiddich so much right?" (with a slurr, and drawing out the i, "riiiiiiiiight") Now there is a lot of things i don't like spontaniously appearing at my doorstep. 32 year old Single Malt Scotch Whisky from Glennfiddich.… not one of those things! He brought 2 bottles. It is my sad duty to inform you that Blambi and Rinkeltje made the ultimate sacrifice. They gave their lives for us. Blambi went to the great distillery in the sky at 03:22 followed by his sister at 04:10 this morning. They shall be missed, and apropriatly maurned by hangover. At 06:00 the visitor left, satisfied with the carnage he caused in today's schedule, utterly annhialating the planning. I needed to improvise! Think quickly, and come up with... Eehm.. Wow that Glennfiddich was real good! There was consumption of several spiecies of dead animals, fried in the airfryer. An investigation was held as to the nature of this hanous crime... As by the time I received them their physical cohesion had been de-cohesioned already by someone with a very sharp knife which made identifying the species of the animals impossible. This did not lessen de tasty experience while consuming. One of the investigators commented. Well, after that there was very few other places i could end up at then behind my computer: https://youtu.be/vsZnGwbT5Mo ***'"SithServerSigmaSegma"*** ***my pride and joy.*** ***An AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6-Core Processor,*** ***32Gb of G-Skill DDR2666 memory,*** ***An AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT graphics card with 12GB DDR6 memory*** ***12TB storage space, booting from m.2*** ***al shoved into a MPG X570 GAMING PLUS (MS-7C37) (AM4) motherboard.*** I love that thing. On weekdays i spend more time behind SSSS (as i lovingly call her) then i do anything else. Three screens spread out in front of me, each with its own purpose. So why did I go off on a single person circle jerk over my computer? Because it's time for me to play a game or something. So sorry but this is going to be a shorter one than usual. I'll make up for it, promise! Thank you for reading this Stay safe and stay happy! @AnonSunamun *(*)mysiagigisist = One of them women haters*

Snippits for an article. These were my snippits of which i wanted to form an article. Never got to it i guess. Philosophy is the study of general and fundamental problems, such as those connected with reality, existence, knowledge, values, reason, mind and language. The word philosophy comes from the Ancient Greek φιλοσοφία (philosophia), which literally means "love of wisdom". The introduction to this section is about how difficult it is to be disciplined when you are making decisions for your future. — A. How do you know what is right? B. What is the difference between right and wrong? A. The easiest way to know what is right is to do what your parents have taught you. B. This question can be answered by looking at the consequences of a person's actions. When a person does something wrong, they may face consequences such as being punished or not getting something they want, which would make them regret their decision and learn from it in the future. — Philosophy is the study of general and fundamental problems, such as those connected with reality, existence, knowledge, values, reason, mind and language. I went to #Dominator2022!! Hello there, Hello there my friends, I am happy to tell you I've survived and thrived over the past weekend during my visit to Dominator! I can truly say the experiences of the past weekend have confirmed some 'beliefs' I've held the past three decades before becoming a father, but still hold true today. Those will be discussed In fact, I'm eager to share the discoveries, this weekend brought me, I should tell you about the festival "Dominator" first. Because Dominator turns out to be so much more than just a Hardcore Festival, at least a lot more than I ever expected. Around the block Now some might know this, but for those who don't, I've been a Hardcore Gabber for over 30 years now. I've been around one could say. I've been to all the great events in the history of Gabber and Hardcore. Thunderdome, Mysteryland (even the Maasvlakte edition in 1994), Hellraiser, Megarave and so on and on. `Please check out my sponsors. They're awesome people!` Thirty years of Hardcore I was a work hard and play hard kind of guy, went to a party on Saturday nights and went clubbing on Thursday, Friday nights and Sunday mornings. I am not trying to bost or something but i'm trying to establish that i've seen it all, been there and done that. Something to keep in mind while reading my Dominator experience. What is Dominator 2022? Dominator 2022 was a festival that, for the first time, had a Camping available and organized a pre-party on Friday and some after activities before and after the main festival on Saturday from 13:00-23:00. The camping was opened from Friday 12:00 until Sunday 12:00. https://youtu.be/fFhzKDgO5mo We got there eventually Allthough we arrived a bit late at the sight, due to some delays before departure which will remain obscure, we were in the best of moods when we arrived and parked the car. The mood had lessened somewhat after the excuciatingly long walk with our gear from the car to the camping but eventually it was down to us vs. the heat and the camping gear. We won, eventually, and walked around the terrain. We thought that the camping + party area was big It was big! It took us literally 20 minutes to walk from one side, where our tent was, to the other side with the party tent and the food/drinks/token sections. And everywhere you looked you saw 1 or 2 person tents with some bigger ones interspersed among them, and everywhere you went there was some speaker blasting out hardcore. And the atmosphere, the vibe among all the visitors, it was amazing. I've seen 0 arguments, fights or other bad-behaviors that otherwise are inevitable when you pack 5000-10000 strangers tightly together in a tent-camp baking in 30+ degrees celcius. If I'm honest the same goes for the main festival which was 5x the size of the camping and partytent, and the number of visitors... 50.000 Gabbers from all over the world. I've personally met people from Belgium, Germany, France, Italy (Francesca stole my heart!), Sweden, Finland, Macedonia, Poland, Switserland, Canada (Max, thanks for the fun!!), UK, USA and i met someone from South Africa! PEACE Everywhere I went, there was peace. No chagrinning, no anger, no agression (towards other beings) and everyone was happy and in a positive mood. I even lived live through an experience i first had as a nightmare! The nightmare is an old one, one i had decades ago. It was about me arriving at a party and even though everyone was dancing and freaking on some music, i didn't hear a thing. Everyone had on headphones! Silent "Disco" Here are some more picturs from Dominator 2022. The Part about the discoveries I've made will be in Part II of this growing large topic! Thank you for reading this! Stay safe and stay HAPPY! @AnonSunamun *EXTRA CONTENT!!!!* For some idea of the music Dominator's all about: https://youtu.be/Y2vlpxRwpJc

Talking to my computer. Who's more drunk? I did an experiment, a spontaneous one, to test the speech to text technology today. I have used 3 different services, 2 sites and one client like app, to transcribe my words into text. Whatever the service made of it I shall paste unedited. I also accidentally had one Dutch language dictation service connected and its transcription is also posted unedited. `From here no keyboard was used.` *OK, let's see if this works now.* *I'm going to type a text without actually touching my keyboard. Whatever the computer understands is what you're going to read in the article.* *As far as I know it's its the first article on read cash that has done this completely without touching the keyboard.* *Hopefully it will be not for you to give the look and maybe even a like.* *So what we're going to talk about.* *Yeah, that's a good question.* *Maybe I should have thought of that before.* *Oh.* *It's about the war in the Ukraine.* *Or we could talk about something happy. But now I'm thinking I can't think of anything happy.* *Oh, except for the fact that I've still got some beers here.* *Baby up.* *fundle the options and stroke some sliders to hopefully get more interesting transcription.* At this point i switched to another service. From her no keyboard was used *OK, let's see if this is working now. I'm going to type a text without actually touching my keyboard, whatever the computer understands is what you're going to read in the article. As far as I know it's it's the first article on read cash that has done this completely without touching the keyboard. Hopefully it will be.* *Not for you to give the look and maybe even a like. So what we're going to talk about. Yeah, that's a good question. Maybe I should have thought of that before. Oh. It's about the war in the Ukraine. Or we could talk about something happy. But now I'm thinking I can't think of anything happy. Oh, except for the fact that I've still got some beers here. Baby up. I wonder if there's a. You know the maximum number of words for these things. For the free training the transcriptions.* *I guess we're going to find out because I guess I'm gonna have to keep talking until this thing stops. Was scribbling things and whatever it is it's scribbling in. It is time to tell you. Cool about doom, John. Since a couple of years I've been dabbling with, you know. The whole and. I built myself a new still. And today, have done the second run of some stuff. No. Is. Exceptional. Be proud of. So. In the future for my. Thanks. Is that I'm gonna take everything I've distilled in the first from the first match. Throw it back into the still. You know. Make it less. Alcohol and then run it again. So I get a more pure taste. Percentage of alcohol, hopefully above. Percent mark. Then it will be the first time in five years. Do shine.* *The real do shine. Is back on this planet. And I can't wait to see the first guy. Sure, dude. Dig in the gulf. And seeing him passed out. That's that always gives me a kick. So we catch people. What do you think? Is this a success or should I just keep my hands on the keyboard and my microphone turned off? I can see this having a future and it's going to take kind of an attitude shift from. Writers. Yeah, I can see this working for me. But also. Less aware. The form and the grammar and things like that. And quickly become less formal than I should be. In some cases, I think because. Once I get going talking, it's like I'm talking to somebody. Like I'm talking to you, old friend. Or something like that. I don't know.* Somehow a Dutch service came up to listen: no keyboard yada yada.... Hoop dan wel heftig Say Presently surprised. Oh, Dat is weer het Nederlands. Oké, doe het Nederlands kan ook. I just wanted to share with y'all that i am a sentimental optimistic old fool. I'm looking at the prices today and yesterday and somehow my gut is saying "Right, here we go, see you at the ATH in November/December. cross the 30 mark before august." My gut's trippin.
Am i turning into a romantic softy in my old age? `This article contains spoilers for the game Ass ass in's creed Origins, but only after the sponsor block. So please, check out those sponsors, free of spoilers!!` So yes, Ass ass in's Creed Origins... I know, it's childish to write the game's name like that but i guess I'm not that sophistycated after all. I've just finished a full playthrough (at least the main story line) of Assasin's creed Origins. I know, I'm a little late to the party with the game being from 2017. It's also had 3 sequals released after that. Nevertheless I was completely caught offguard by how good the game was. There's several reasons to point at for that, not in the last place the awesome level of detail and (don't shoot me for this) historical accuracy. My gripe in the beginning, before i actually done gameplay, was that it was set too late in the Egyptian thousands of years of history. https://deuzige.blogspot.com The game is set in 49BCE eventually it turns the game into sort of a simulation of the end of the Egypt of Farao's, kind of capping it off on the ides of March (the assassination of Julius Ceasar). But before you even realize that this is where the game is going to take you the game is well into the twenty or thirty hours of helping your neighbors while gradually taking you farther away from your home, and the place where where you were once happy. http://kapot.ga The father looses his son. Now I'm probably more immersed in this game than most others because I feel i can relate and emphasize with Bayrek, and i felt his pain of losing his son. I also felt somewhat jeleous of Bayrek for the clear love between him and his wife when they got together. I imagine how big of a source of power that must've been for him. In that he had something I didn't have, I had to make due with basically the opposite. Ofcourse it helped that Ancient Egypt has always been one of my fascinations, and actually wanted to become an Egyptologist for a while. (until i saw the list of Farao's and dynisties that went with the job. I wasn't going to succeed in learning all of them.) Also The game, though taking place in 49 to 43 BCE, is very successfull in taking you, almost without noticing it, on a trip through the entire history of ancient Egypt. It helped the immersion enormouosly. At times my knowledge of ancient Egypt even helped me figure out some puzzles. It also had me slowly walking nose to the wall so i could take in the hyrioglyphs and the artwork in the tombs and the cities. I was really taken in With the Final Fantasy cross over tie in, even though i've never played FF myself, i got real excited. It drew me out of the game but that was ok really. The sundial puzzle wasn't that hard but what it unlocked was exciting! I exclaimed loudly when the "transporter" produced a dude and the gear i ended getting out of the encounter was the only gear i used from that point on. Okay the gladiator matches i had no choice, but other than that.... I can hear some of you asking: "Hey, wasn't this supposed to be about becoming a romantic or something?" And the anwer is yes it is. Or at least it is going to. I just didn't want to give the impression I hated the game from the start and was going to rant on about the usual Ubisoft gripes that always come up about it all being the same damn game with the same damn mechanics. That would be pointless, because ofcourse the same mechanics apply. You start in one area, and as you move farther away from your start point you "discover" new areas which you in some form or other need to "clear" or "win" by doing the side quests or something similar. Ghost recon wildlands was like that so i assume all other games in the franchise did as well. All the Far Cry's that i played had this system and so did all other ass ass in's creed games that i've played. Only exceptions i can think of are that card game "Uno" and those Rabbid games. But also don't get me wrong: I do HATE Assassin's Creed Origins vehemently. It's actually emotional, and a genuine feeling of being deliberately hurt by the game's ending. And it's not the first time Ubisoft did this to me either! I can remember having a visceral feeling of rage after experiencing the ending of Far Cry 5 (and i don't mean the quick one where you get the credits rolling after not deciding on an action in the intro sequence for 15 minutes). You'd think they'd learn from something like that. Nope they didn't The closer I got to the end of the game and the clearer it became that Bayrek and Aya wouldn't get together again and live together in love at least the harder I was shouting things like "NOOOOO fuck you this isn't right" like the devs were listening to me as i played. But they did it. They basically made Aya dump Bayrek and become the creator and most fanatic member of the Assassin's brotherhood. How much poor old Bayrek still loved her is proven by how close their mummies were entombed and how the wishes for her burial, she only told Bayrek about, were followed. I hated the ending so much that even though i've got plenty of dlc and sidequests left to do i don't think i'm going to go back into the game again. I just can't put myself to it. I mean, i actually shed tears over this... Am i becoming a romantic softy? Anyway its late and i've got to shut myself down now so... Thank you for reading this. Stay safe and stay happy! @AnonSunamun PS. Might not be fully edited, spellchecked and grammarnazied, i'll do that tomorrow mornging. Apologies.
Today i rant about the slavetrade. Today is a good day to rant.…But the day is not yet over!! `Please, have a look at the content of my sponsors. You will be glad you did.` On to the rant then! Or something like that. There are a lot of things in the world today that irritate me, and today (yesterday really, during celebrations for Keti Koti here in my country), one thing just punched through, and it did so at the wrong time. It made me decide to broach the topic and write my view on some issues that are connected to it. What triggered me? Yes, I admit it; I got well and truly triggered yesterday. The thing that did it was the speech made by the president of the Dutch National Bank. In it, he apologized for the DNB's (De Nederlandse Bank) role in the slave trade, which lasted from the 1530s until July 1st, 1863. That he apologized was incomprehensible to me and the utterly wrong thing to do. Disclaimer: I condemn slavery. (PERIOD)! Slavery is wrong, disgusting, and we should all do everything we can to eradicate it in all its forms! There has never been and will never be a valid reason for one human being to own another human being! Confusing? Not really. I am against slavery and I will speak up against it if needed. I am also strongly convicted of taking responsibility for one's actions, and only for ones actions. We cannot hold one man accountable for the actions and deeds of other men. As those involved in, and thus responsible for, the transatlantic slave trade, as well as their victims, are all long dead. People alive today have never owned slaves, nor have they taken part in any activity that caused or benefited from slavery, either directly or indirectly. The DNB employees of today never owned slaves! This includes the DNB, and its president. So for him to apologize is just plain absurd. Whom was it he addressed with those apologies? Certainly not former slaves, as from July 1st, 1863, the slaves were freed and slavery was outlawed. My main concern with the DNB president's apologies is that it implies that i could be held responsible and accountable for any action or activity of any of my ancestors engaged in during their lifetimes. This is so much against my principles and core moral values of taking responsibility for one's own actions that it actually pisses me off. What about the other slaves? And isn't it wrong that anytime the topic "slavery" comes up, they're always referring to the transatlantic slave trade of Africans being transported from Africa to the Caribbean or the American colonies during the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries? It excludes all other slavery that went on before the first cities formed in the fertile crescent. Most offensively, it totally ignores the European (Caucasian) slaves that were captured and sold by North African raiders and traders from European ships and coastal towns. To ignore them is more offensive than all the millions of other slaves throughout history because they became slaves and were traded at the same time as those in the transatlantic slave trade. In North Africa, more "Christian-slaves" were traded and kept than Africans were traded in the transatlantic slave trade. In fact, it was the Islamic North African slave-trade in European slaves that was the inspiration for the transatlantic slavetrade. ******Putting on a helmet and armor, shivering in fear underneath my desk*Now***** *****I***** know that i will be vilified for stating that last paragraph. Descendents of the African slaves especially hate it when the North African slavetrade of Caucasian Christian slaves i brought up for any reason. Anyone who does so is accused of being a racist and of belittling the plight of the African slaves that were brought to the Americas, without even considering what exactly the person actually said or wrote. With the woke movement of today, those descendents are often overpowered in volume and vehemency by the extreme left woke snowflakes that take offense in the name of the African Negro Slaves. Speculation Any speculation on why descendents of African slaves hate to be reminded of the Christian slaves captured and traded by North Africans to the rest of Africa is also an act of suicide, or at least never a good way to gain popularity or friends among the people of African descent or the wokes of the world. I am going to do it, anyway. I don't care. In fact, let me throw my most controversial speculations on the table first and watch them detonate in offense and disgust. I think the descendents of the African slaves are afraid that if the world actually learns of the North African Christian slave trade, the number of Christian slaves, and the circumstances in which the Christian slaves found themselves, the attention and severity of the Atlantic slave trade will shrink. They fear they can no longer count on the surrogate guilt factor that their slave history evokes in much of western society. They would prefer that no one believed the history of the Christian slaves. But it is true. Check it for yourself. https://googlethatforyou.com?q=white%20slaves%20in%20africa https://kapot.ga They fear that when the general public learns that the atlantic slave trade lasted shorter and counted less slaves than the north african christian slave trade their demands for compensation will loose support. ******Ducking down into my basement surrounded by sandbags****** You can then drive them into rage-fits and make them go beserk if you then, on top of that, ask to consider why there are no enclaves or communities in Africa of descendents of christian slaves, or why nothing of the infrastructure for the christian slavetrade survived to this day. This irks them because the answer is that the conditions of the christian slaves prevented them from forming families and reproduce. Another reason was that the mortality rate after they had arrived at their destination among the European slaves in Africa was almost 20% and also because 8% of those slaves were bought into freedom by either corperations or religious organisations. The fact that none of the Banjo's (slave prisons) in which most Slaves were held until they were sold have survived also gives cause for thought. Even the claim that the African slaves were submitted to the harshest and cruelest living conditions could be perceived in jeoporty by their descendants when one considers that most European male slaves became Gallyslaves. Those poor men were forced to row continuously for days on end, chained to the ores by their arms and to a big heavy chain by their legs. Their supervisors encouraged them to row faster and work harder by using a whip drenched in tar, or with a dried, streched bull penis. Slaves preferred being put to work in quarries hacking and hauling heavy rocks, than becoming a gallyslave. One account written by a Dutch former slave (Cornelis Stout) after his escape describes the plight of the European slaves as follows: ***‘in sigh selven een aardts paradijs maar voor ons een plaats vol elende; hier proefde wij eerst wat de Turckse slavernij is, lopende en rennende, te hooren roepen en schelden, slaan en smijten, honger en gebreck en al wat ramp voor een elendigh mens kan bedaght werden, was ons dagelijkckx broot.’*** which roughly translates to: *In itself the estate was an earthen paradise but for us a place full of misery; here we first tasted what the Turck slavery is, walking and running, to hear shouting and cursing, suffer hitting and throwing, hunger and breaking and subjected to all that can be a disaster for a miserable man, was our daily bread.* Bear in mind that Cornelis Stout wasn't a Gallyslave or put to work in a quarry. He was captured with his family and sold as a family unit to work at the estate of a wealthy muslim. But all of that doesn't matter. One is just as bad as the other. My point is that I have never held a slave, traded a slave or benefitted from a slave. Therefore i have nothing to apologize for. Neither does anybody else alive, regarding the 16th through 19th slave trades. But now the DNB president apologized, every one expects and assumes the Dutch government has to do the same. I say NO!!!! When i meet a slave trader i will give him a stern talking to and explain that slave trade is unacceptable and immoral. Other than that…don't whine to me about it! eybyoung, you did nothing to deserve it, nor should you be there to deserve anything. The universe allows events to happen for no purpose or due to no cause. A response to @Eybyoung 's article: God, what did i do to deserve all these things in Life that was short but got too big for the reply section, and turned into an article. https://read.cash/@Eybyoung/god-what-did-i-do-to-deserve-all-these-things-in-life-b66ead26 `Please give my sponsors some attention and see what they're offering. You won't be sorry!` You should first read the original article before reading beyond this point. You should subscribe and turn on notifications now to finish the transaction. Then, and only then, are you allowed to read any further! NOTE: This article is basically an answer to @Eybyoung's questions in her article. Think of it as me answering her directly in her presence. Note to @Eybyoung: Let me start by saying I'm so sorry for you that your parents were so evil and mean to you. I really feel for you. I hope you resolve this and past this soon. But... I'm going, to be Frank, and direct in this reply. Please remember that in no way, shape or form am I trying to hurt, insult, offend, or otherwise cause negative feelings. First, I am simply giving you my mind on this, hoping to have a positive influence, even if it is only a little. Let's begin this on a positive note.... ah darn it, too late. Meeh!!! Anywho.... who? Ani! The simple answers are: Nothing. Yes. Yes. Yes. But life has never been fair, and it has been/is/will be tougher on you than average. What happened to you has nothing to do with anything you did. That's a terrible way to learn it, but you learned the best and most important lesson possible. Having learned it though saves you so much trouble, problems, and worries, but most of all from disappointment. Your Father was an asshole. Certified and guaranteed by the official @ssh0l3 Judgement and Management Committee of Alderaan. I do, as should everyone, despise your father's actions and consider it a grave offense, or even a crime. But cheating and knocking up a woman other than your wife, while bad and making you an asshole, is not a mortal sin. The Universe (or God in your case) agrees it isn't, as evidenced by his continued existence. There is also no such thing as Karma. If Karma was real, I would have had to be Mao, Stalin, and Hitler in my previous life. That is not possible as those three most evil men in history lived at the same time. Nowhere is living three different lives at the same time discussed in any sensible fashion regarding accumulating bad karma. You shouldn't have to bear the punishment for things you didn't do. That's not what you're doing. You're not being punished for anything. I have also grown up in a less than welcoming and appreciative environment. My mother wanted to give me up for adoption but was persuaded somehow by grandpa to keep me. After I was born it was quickly very clear, that they had to get me out of her "care" and into that of my grandparents, even though my grandparents lived in mortal fear for my father whom they considered (fill in favored prejudiced view of the wrong man for one's daughter) and they had already raised three daughters they did everything they could to get me away from the care of my mother. She resented that but also resented that when I was asked where I wanted to live, I didn't choose for her but chose my grandparents. As my father died 4 months before I was born, so I can also relate somewhat to growing up without a father. Your suffering was horrible, cruel, unjust, and inexcusable. To deal with such grief and suffering without help seems impossible. However Someone having grown up like that can get love from somewhere else. There, in fact, are more sensitive to and able to find sources of love, which they value and appreciate more than others. Not all things start from home. In fact, home is a relative concept that is different for each individual. Even though what you went through is horrible, unfair, and hurt unimaginably, you got through it, you overcame the trauma and nightmares. Just imagine how strong you must have been to do that! Your mother's actions are inexcusable and wrong, now and in the past. What she said proves she has improved little and has no grasp of morality (maybe not even on reality). If you think about it, though This is not completely bad, though. It tells you she is unlikely to change soon and that she'll never be able to be a Mom for you. Add that to the damage of pain she brought you in the past and you find the only decisive, justified, and course of action is to cut contact completely, removing a source of pain, sadness, and suffering from your life. WHat to do? It would also enable you to consider that there are two things you can do. Keep letting what was done to you make you angry, sad, and depressed every day for the rest of your life, allowing the future to be as bad or worse than the past and eventually die miserably, depressed. Or you can accept that what happened was horrible, but there's nothing you can do. No amount of crying or anger will ever make what happened any less than what it was. It does not, however, mean you cannot change what it does to you now and in the future. There is only one thing that can do that, and that is you. You can realize that no matter how horrible the past might have been, the future can be the most fantastically happy, beautiful, and rewarding time of your life, if you allow it to, and let your sunny side take control of your future. But the most important takeaway from all of it is the fact that the hurt and misery in your life were inflicted upon you by your mother, your father, your family, and the surrounding people. There was only one victim, you. The best solutions are all dependent upon one thing, and that is you. There is only one who will prosper or suffer from any action or inaction related to this, and it is also you. Even if he existed, why would you ask god anything? What? He's suddenly going to realize the errors of his way and care enough to want to help you? He did nothing, and he will do less in the future, literally anything, to help you, shape, or form so far. What makes you think he'd start now? Again, you did nothing to deserve this, which makes what you experienced something unjust. If God allowed it, then I'd judge God to be an unjust, uncaring, and bad (maybe even evil) individual. If however you come to accept that God does not exist and everything that happens does so because one or more people made or make it so you might have less difficulty accepting that you cannot change the past, or undo the pain and grief and that you decide if the future is more of the same or the best part of your life. https://www.wikihow.com/Argue-That-God-Does-Not-Exist And that is precisely what you're doing. You're fighting and you're determined to win. The fact you are fighting is 90% of what you need to win. The other 10%? That's up to the universe. Good luck! https://patasinc.org/ Thank you for reading this. Stay safe and stay happy! @AnonSunamun
The signal Well, Hello there. It's been a while since I've put up a piece here. This Is because I'm working on a piece that is turning out to be a bigger thing than any I've put up here before. It started as a rant and is turning into a barely cohesive but (i hope) interesting document covering everything from racism to philosophy. Because I didn't want you guys to think anything was wrong with me though i tickled my creativity and came up with a short story. I give you: =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- The tension on The bridge of The EESS Neil DeGrasse Tyson was palpable. Everyone was well aware Of the momentousness of the events that they were going to be witness to, and part Of. They were about to bring to conclusion A process that had been Thirty Years in the Making. It had begun on July 24th, 2022 when the SETI project, the Search for Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence, picked up a signal it was designed to look for. The signal was subjected to All the scientific analyses scientific and technological progress had made available to scientists, and after 4 years of study, it was agreed The signal was artificial in nature and originated from A star 14,5 lightyears away from Earth. `Please check out my sponsors. They're awesome!` Intelligent life? The content of the signal however was never deciphered. Whatever it was It was not much. It Was a continuously repeating signal sent in one-minute intervals. Further investigation of the point Of origin revealed a yellow star orbited by 6 planets Of which 2 were in The so-called goldy locks zone; the area around a star in which liquid water could exist. It was determined that one of the two N.E.A.'s (Near Earth Analogues) had an atmosphere containing oxygen and methane, which made the probability of life existing on that planet high. The spark After 5 more years of Study and scientific debate, a consensus was reached and the signal was determined to be an artificial signal sent by Technology created by an intelligent form of life. The release to the public of The existence Of the signal and the determination it was sent by intelligent life acted as an ignition spark for a movement towards the unification of the people of Earth. The consequences of climate change had forced the nations Of the world to work together in the years before leading to the banning of all emissions Of greenhouse gasses in 2028, laying the infrastructure and international connections that made cooperation easier than ever. The determination of the signal being of intelligent extraterrestrial origin was the spark that ignited the will to use the established roadworks to expand the established connections and cooperations that were used to banish the greenhouse gas emissions from the world and aid those areas worst affected by the climate change. Unity In 2037 in a ceremony that was broadcasted globally the final signature to the declaration Of unity was signed on the third of March, by the freshly elected President Of the Federation of the United People of Eart in the new capital of the planet, Brussels. Three forces unite Five years later Three forces came together to initiate the project that lead to the construction of the PoESS Nei DeGrasse Tyson. The first was the unification Of the space Agencies across The planet Into the I.A.S.A. The Second was the cooperation of former Rivals in the exploitation of space like SpaceX, Blue Origin, Boeing, SES SA, ESA, Arianespace, the China Great Wall Industry Corporation, Russia's Khrunichev factory, and India's Antrix corporation. The third was the appointment of dr. Neil DeGrasse Tyson as the director of I.A.S.A. The Result Of The coming Together of those forces was that its main goal was set to be to develop The technology to travel to The source of The signal and unravel its secrets. The departure In 2044 the whole planet Watched as the PoESS Neil DeGrasse Tyson was disconnected from the zero gravity dock orbiting the moon and embarked on her maiden voyage To become the first manned object To travel out Of the solar system. It had taken the ship 4 years to traverse The vast expanse of space between Earth and Neighbor, as the signal's origin system had become To be called. Due to the nature of the propulsion system, the ship had been out Of contact with the rest of the universe during the entire transit as well as incapable of any other interaction with the rest of The universe which of course heightened The anxiety among the ship's crew. We're here "Disengaging the Higgs Manipulation Drive in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1..." the voice of Navigation specialist Choi sounded across the bridge, her voice the Only sound Apart from the generic Noise of working for machinery and crew. When at zero the drive disengaged the ship's mass returned to it gradually while simultaneously engaging The thrusters to slow her down from her 99,9998% Of the speed of light. The first image that the ship's Sensors managed to produce on the bridge's main viewscreen was the first sign that coming to the neighbor system might not have been the best idea they could have come up with. Having come into normal space just outside the outer planet they had A view of most Of the solar system but what caught everyone's attention was The debris. About 10.000.000 kilometers from their position a debris field floated through space in orbit around the star consisting of the remnants of spaceships that were unimaginable in scale. Most of the chunks in the debris field were four times the size of The Tyson but there were chunks that were kilometers in width and length. What the... The awed silence was broken by Science Operator Mol. "I have determined The location from which the signal originated. it is a small satellite 2000 kilometers from our position. Scans indicate It is damaged but still powered and sending out the signal." One of the assistants Of the Science Operator voiced another discovery from the sensor array. "There seem to be 42 satellites exactly the same as the one sending the signal, yet they're all silent, showing no power emissions whatsoever," he reported. The Science Operator Nodded and brought a Visualization of the data onscreen, showing a roughly Spherical distribution Of The satellites around the 4th planet from The star. Investigating further "Change course to intercept the active satellite and prepare to bring it aboard. Maybe it can tell us more about what the hell is Going on here," ordered Captain Ahrund. A Chorus of "Yes Sir" sounded as The order was acknowledged. 45 minutes later the first close Scans and investigations of the satellite were underway. Meanwhile, the Captain had ordered the Tyson To slowly and cautiously made her way towards the 4th planet, continuously blanketing the system With active scans. The planet proved elusive as none of the scanning methods seemed to be able to detect it. The rest Of the system yielded some results though. Some of The moons and the 5th planet Of the system were found to have varying amounts of metal alloys that could not have formed naturally. Some indications Were discovered that indicated they were at least Visited by an intelligent species. The message As The Tyson cleared The debris field the science department announced a breakthrough in The investigation into The satellite. "When we removed a piece of metal, we assume shrapnel of some sort, the Sattelite's system ran through what must have been a diagnostic cycle and then went dark for a few seconds. When It turned back on the satellite began sending out a signal similar to the One we've known It to send but much longer and more powerful. It was also one our computers were able to decrypt, and translate." the Grave voice of Fokke Mol, the science operator told The captain. He then proceeded to play the translated transcript Of the satellite's message. "To All who receive this message. Do not Enter the solar system from which this message originated. On the 4th planet of the solar system, an AI built long ago by a species long since extinct resides. This AI, for whatever reason, is determined to destroy any objects that try To enter The solar system. All attempts at communicating with the AI have failed, and no attempts at entering the system have survived to succeed. We advise any and all To stay away." "Captain I am Detecting an energy buildup beneath the sensor dampening field on the 4th planet" reported one of the junior Science officers. The end At that Moment a bright blue stream of hyperexcited particles shot forth from the fourth planet. The stream crossed The distance between the planet and The Tyson in less than a second and connected the two briefly before disappearing. When it did a silent explosion lit up the debris field momentarily leaving Nothing more to prove the Tyson had Ever existed but an expanding cloud of superheated plasma. Thanks for reading this. Salvaged fiction from back in 2014. Keash&Derp. I found this little gem going through the Wayback machine, looking for any traces of my illustrious internet career which spans 30+ years. It's a chunk of my Keash and Derf star trek fanfiction story which I was working on in 2014. I found it worthy of salvage and republishing, and where else can it enjoy its pension than here, with the good folk of readcash? `Before you get to read the section though, i would like to introduce you to some awesome content creators with awesome content:` Star Trek: Keash&Derf THREE CHAPTERS PRECEDING THIS PART ARE MISSING Sweat poured from Keash's face as he stabilized the Breda before bringing her to a complete stop. After five hours of constantly coming to within inches of being vaporized by an unimaginably fast or incredibly large asteroid, the Breda had reached what seemed a ring of relatively clear space. Keash panted when he let go of the controls and turned his seat to face his companions. To his relief and pride, his kid was still in the back seat on the bridge, strapped in and pointing a small disruptor at the other occupant of the Bridge with them. Derf, a criminal who'd been the intended recipient of the cargo the Breda was hauling. Derf had been double-crossed by a former associate who'd owed him by paying off the debt with a compromised shipment of illegal armament parts which was being tracked by Starfleet. As Keash had been about to finish off the contract and unload the cargo Starfleet security forced, surrounding the landing bay they were in, ordered them to surrender. Keash had moved on instinct and, having no other option, Derf had run into the Breda after Keash and his son. He looked like someone regretting his latest choices. His eyes were still wide like saucers in what seemed perpetual shock, his face wet with perspiration. The upper side of the drab jumpsuit he wore was darkened with moisture from copious amounts of sweat as well. “The Maker's excrement!” the odd alien, whose species Keash couldn't identify, exclaimed after a few moments of silence. The exclamation made Keash launch into a great belly laugh. Both Ahrund and Derf looked at him as if wondering if Keash's brain had fried. Keash looked over at his son when he felt the laughing had ebbed away enough for him to speak. “That was a very fancy way of saying 'Holy Shit' Ahrund. And maybe daddy's not completely sane anymore but that's funny shit right there!” he said, and laughed some more. This time Ahrund joined in the laughter and after a second Derf couldn't help but join in. After all, Keash was right. When the laughter had ebbed away the atmosphere turned serious again and filled with tension. Derf noted the disruptor was still aimed at him, and Keash noticed him looking at it. “I see you've noticed the expression of my son and myself's sizable distrust and perhaps even anger towards you,” he said. “I am sure the coming moments are going to be fascinatingly entertaining as you're going to convince me why not vaporizing you into atoms is better than it would be to tell Ahrund here to fire at maximum setting” Keash added, leaning back into his seat as if to make himself comfortable to be entertained. Derf swallowed and glanced nervously at the disrupter. A fleeting sliver of thought asked himself how he'd managed to go from the worst possible situation he could possibly end up into an even worse situation. He then nodded and took a deep breath, sounding more like a sigh of resignation. “Unless you're very decent people with a very high standard of ethics and morals guiding you in your lives I doubt I can give you any arguments not to have your son pull that trigger,” Derf said, finding his feet with his eyes. “I could have had everything, live a decent and wealthy life, and make something of myself. Instead, I've lived from one party to the next, from one pleasure to the next, and partied myself slowly but surely into the gutter of life itself. By the time I realized what I was doing it was too late and I was pennyless, homeless, and in debt on a miserable excuse for a planet in an even more miserable excuse for a civilized settlement. I was in the worst possible mess anyone could be in and then I got into an even worse one and took you two with me, so it seems.” Derf continued. When after a few moments, to Derf's surprise, Keash hadn't said a word to accuse Derf or berate Derf or anything Derf elaborated on his sorry story. “Regardless of how it came to be so I was homeless and owed a lot of money to some pretty terrible people to owe money to. The only chance I had was to call in a long-standing debt owed to me by a former associate with which I parted ways a decade ago. He is now a very wealthy man and I hoped that, though from what he gains his wealth is questionable, he was inclined to honor his debt to me and at least save my hide with my creditors. It seemed he was and he promised me the ownership of a cargo that was in the area and he could reroute to me within weeks.” Derf explained, looking up with an apologetic expression. “And I guess that was when you got mixed up in this” he finished. Then, with a wistful glance out the cockpit window, he asked almost as an afterthought. “Just one question before you have me vaporized though?”, Derf said and then turned to regard Keash with an incredulous expression before asking “Why are we still alive?” Keash looked at him oddly before realizing what the Alien was referring to. Before their conversation had begun the IMS Breda had traversed a length of space that was filled with what remained of two planets that had mutually annihilated each other in a cataclysmic collision. Gravitational anomalies not yet understood by science worked to keep the debris field not only contained in a specific area but also afforded a path clear of debris to the planet where they'd met directly above the poles. The debris field itself was a chaotic mess of asteroids ranging in size from a human fist to chunks of planet surface 100 kilometers across. None of the asteroids were in the nice elliptical orbit around a single point as everybody imagined all asteroids to be though, each one on a different trajectory than any other, at speeds that were equally different though never slow or leisurely. Asteroids were colliding with one another everywhere and all the time which made calculating a clear path through them too complicated, even for 24th-century computer technology. Preventing collision with asteroids the size of Elephants was inevitable for any object traversing the debris field which was about twice as large as even the most powerful deflector shields could deflect successfully. Larger asteroids could either be shot into little chunks by energy weapons or evaded completely, and relatively slower-moving asteroids would mostly be deflected. The majority of the asteroids in the debrief field were anything but slow-moving and even an immobile object would be subjected to high-speed impacts getting through the deflector shields. “Look around you Mr....” Keash began. “Derf, my name's Derf” the alien filled in. Keash gestured with his arms to include everything around them, continuing “everything that you see is something I have personally put there, after personally putting the hull of this spaceship together out of pieces I took from derelicts or wreckages.” Standing from his seat and moving over to his son he collected the disruptor and thumbed it down to standby before unlocking and catching his son in his arms. He turned to Derf who'd visibly relaxed and wore a grateful expression at the removal of the disruptor's threat. “The primary hull of this ship was constructed from the hull of a blockade runner drone transport and the secondary hull was taken from an ancient asteroid field miner, built in the days before deflector shields and energy barriers to reinforce structural integrity,” Keash revealed. Derf's expression displayed some recognition but Keash knew he'd need to elaborate before complete comprehension dawned for the alien guest. “During the Dominion war Starfleet found itself being beaten on all fronts. The war went so bad that some outposts or even sectors of space containing colony or member worlds got isolated from Federation-controlled space, unreachable for supplies and reinforcements. Starfleet designed and built a number of drone transport ships that were designed to ignore everything that came into their path and keep going full speed towards their objective destination and were capable of resisting massive amounts of firepower without critical failures for extended periods of time. Only three were ever used in the field of which 2 actually did the job they were designed to do. They broke through the enemy lines despite taking considerable fire head-on and reached the colonies they were sent to reach.” Keash explained. While he was talking he had moved to the replicator, gotten himself and his son who was as captivated by Keash's words as Derf was, a cup of chocolate milk, and thrown Derf a quizzingly look asking if he wanted anything. “Coffee please, black” Derf nodded while his expression asked Keash to continue. “Unfortunately the transports moved the reached colonies up on the Dominion's to-do lists and were conquered within days after that, and Starfleet decided the drones would not be used in that manner again. As the war's tide shifted and eventually ended with the Federation on the winning side the remaining 3 ships that had been constructed were left at a salvage shipyard judged too be costly to disassemble for recycling or resources. One of them became part of this ship.” Keash told his audience as he moved to his seat and sat down, his kid held against his chest and the mug with chocolate milk in his hand moving so he could take a sip now and then. “The miner ship, which forms most of the other parts of the hull, was constructed in the early days of Klingon expansion into the galaxy and before their widespread implementation of warp drives, to be used for mining asteroid fields for raw materials. Klingons being what they are would not accept the existence of Asteroid fields too perilous for them to mine and constructed their mining ships with such structural strength and heavily armored hulls they could withstand almost any direct impact with solid objects traveling at sublight velocities.” Keash explained and then told his son “Ahrund, it's bedtime now. Daddy loves you and daddy is proud of you. Good night and sleep well honey”. He then gave his son a kiss and put him on his feet. “Good night daddy, love you too,” said Ahrund lovingly and waved as he turned and walked out of the bridge, off to bed. Derf was amazed as he watched the kid go by on his way out of the bridge. He'd never seen such an obedient kid, especially after such a terrifying trip as the Breda had been through not long before. “The thruster assemblies, impulse engines, warp nacelles, and the power distribution systems on this ship were cannibalized from a starship tug, giving the ship its exceptional maneuverability. The rest of the ship is an evolving collection from various other sources which I upgrade whenever the opportunity presents itself. Most important of which might be considered to be our private quarters, directly aft of this bridge. If you'd examine it you'd find it is outfitted like a family home. Its furniture is comfortable and antique, its walls adorned with memorabilia, images of family friends or events, and even an artificial fireplace to complete a homely atmosphere.” Keash went on telling his remaining companion on the small ship's bridge. Derf's expression must've betrayed his confusion as Keash leaned forward and looked the alien in the eye, his expression somehow intimidating and dangerous to Derf. “I am telling you all this, and specifically the last part because this ship IS a family home Mr. Derf. This ship is the culmination of decades of work, of a life's dreams. It's the result of my past, the center point of our present and I hope it will build the beginnings of a fabulous future for my son. It is our home and I will kill if I have, to defend it.” Derf nodded to express his comprehension of the implied threat in Keash's words and expression and was about to launch into an examination of how it was not his doing that got the illegal arms parts into Keash's cargo hold and how he was a victim of deceit just like Keash was when Keash leaned back and started to talk again. “This ship is a home, first and foremost, not the one-time use, throwaway valued barely operatable cobbled together a heap of metal that is used by a band of swashbuckling adventurous wannabe smuggler types for an illegal smuggling run. Nevertheless, my son and I have experienced an anomalous amount of incidents in which ill intent was displayed towards us and or this ship. First an ambush and attempted raid by pirates, then the trap set by Starfleet on the colony and then the Nova class starship which fired on us to prevent us from leaving.” he said as if sounding off a bullet point list of facts. Glancing over to Derf as if inviting him to disagree Keash went on, no longer so much telling Derf anything as thinking out loud to make sure he was considering all the variables. “You said the cargo consisted of weapon parts. What part of what weapons?” Keash asked Derf with a frown. Derf looked apologetic at the human as he replied “I have no idea. I never said anything about the cargo's content. It was the Starfleet officer who spoke about weapon parts” Keash nodded as he remembered. “Whatever they are, they must be worth a fortune for the pirates to spend so much effort on an attempt to hijack it. And for Starfleet to risk letting it get to its delivery point before seizing it, or for Starfleet to assign a Nova class starship for the operation these parts must either be dangerous on a large scale or so classified you'd have to blind all who behold you with the brass on your chest and shoulder.” Keash concluded and then jerked his head towards the back of the ship. “I think it's important we find out what we've gotten ourselves stuck with as soon as we can,” he said and lead Derf out of the bridge, and down into the cargo area of the Breda. “HOLY SHIT!” exclaimed Keash as the outer shipping container's front panel fell away and revealed what was inside. The shipping container held another, slightly smaller but infinitely more sophisticated, containment shield and cryostasis field generating and computer-controlled lockbox marked with what looked to be Romulan markings that, though Keash didn't know any Romulan, warned of danger inside and cautioned against tampering with. The markings were placed on all sides except for the side which held the computer's controls and displays. The display showed what seemed to be sensor readouts which were accompanied by a Romulan script similar to the markings. Kicking himself for not doing so routinely with everything that was brought onboard the Breda Keash quickly grabbed a tricorder and scanned the container for dangerous radiation or anything else that might be harmful, especially for kids. The tricorder beeped reassuringly moments later, indicating nothing dangerous could be detected coming from the container or the rest of the stacked unopened boxes. Relieved at that small favor at least Keash set the tricorder to scan and translate the markings on the container's side and to scan the control mechanism for clues as to its purpose and operation. When the display showed its results Keash's knees almost gave out and a nauseous feeling overwhelmed him. Just before Derf's move to support him was no longer premature Keash grabbed hold of and held onto a bulkhead steadying himself enough to take a few deep breaths and pull himself together. Derf's frightened and puzzled expression prompted him to hand over the tricorders and point at one word on its screen. Derf gasped as he realized what the kind of weapons technology their cargo were parts for: Thaleron Weapons. It wasn't more than an hour later when the two finished opening and checking each container that had come with the shipment meant for Derf and had closed everything back up and safely. At least as safe as one could become with Theleron involved. After Keash had activated the ship's automated containment, quarantine, and security protocols in order to keep the cargo from being touched, moved, scanned, or otherwise interacted with without Keash's knowing about it the two men returned to the front of the ship, settling down in the seats on the bridge. “I can't think of a time at which I've ever been screwed more than we are at this point” sighed Derf. Keash laughed at the remark. “I'd never thought I'd experience this moment in my life and hoped I never would but I'm unable to come up with any anecdotes of me being screwed more either” he replied, turning his gaze to the console displays across his board on the bridge. Nothing had changed since they'd left the bridge, and Keash hadn't expected anything to have. If anything had his computer's AI would've notified him of such change. “Allright, let's take stock of our situation, inventory our resources and figure out what the hell we're going to do next.” Keash snapped, more to himself than Derf. “We can't go back to the Colony because even though the colony isn't a Federation member they do allow Starfleet to enforce their law on their turf. As Starfleet had judged this shipment and the people involved with it important enough to send a Nova class starship out to deal with it you can bet your life savings that every outpost, starship, civilian transport, and Starfleet officer is now in possession of any images they have of us, and standing orders to arrest us on sight. Whatever we do, it will have to be outside of Federation territory.” Keash reasoned while Derf nodded in agreement. “On the way to the colony, i've run into some pirates which, I strongly suspect, were either Orion themselves or paid by the Syndicate. The fact they were aware of the existence of the cargo, and where and when to be in order to prepare an ambush suggests that any space in which Orion Syndicate has any freedom of movement will in the best case scenario get this ship and us along with it blown into a cloud of superheated atoms. Having had the audacity not to comply with their demand to power down and be boarded and chose to give 'em a bloody nose and run can only have made them more anxious to see this ship, and more specifically me.” Keash said, his gaze staring out the cockpit viewports. “The other corridor in and out of the colony without going through this asteroid soup leads into the Klingon Empire's territory. Most of the area to the “south” is the official territory of the Klingon Empire. My relationship has never been anything better than mutual disgust and at best one in which they try to kill me and me having the lousy manners to refuse to do so. It's maybe an unprofessional thing with me but I'm ruling that course of action out of the question until it's the only option left.” Keash went on to say, making sure the Alien with him on the bridge understood he was serious about this. “That leaves us with an arc of course options that looks like this on the map. He keyed a command into a console and the main viewscreen lit up with a star chart of local space and the area surrounding it. A dot colored bright blue blinked inside a sphere of yellow and red specs at the center of which a green orb was greyed out. Keash zoomed in some more revealing the yellow and red specs were asteroids and the green globe represented the colony. The overview showed the Breda was in one of 5 circularly shaped empty rings of space that surrounded the spot at which until recently an entire planet had existed. To travel out of the asteroid cloud around the colony they would have to traverse at least two lengths in which the asteroids chaotically tumbled, collided, pulled with gravity on each other, and accelerated each other to near light-speed velocities. As the Breda had come remarkably undamaged through the first, forced, track through the asteroid field which in places was more dense and chaotic than what lay ahead of them Keash had no worries about cutting through the field to get out at a spot at which no ship was expected to be able to get to without being smeared onto the surface of large cold space rock. Derf then got up and pointed at a spot on the map they were looking at. “There, can you zoom in on that area?” he asked. Keash complied and the point where Derf's finger had pointed grew to fill the entire screen. It revealed nothing interesting though and in fact, seemed to be the emptiest piece of galaxy Keash had ever seen. “It's not showing on any maps but I know it's there, as i've visited the place before myself. There's a space station there.” Derf informed Keash. Keash frowned as he replied. “If the station's not showing up on my charts they're doing their best to keep their existence a secret. And anyone going through that much effort to keep a secret usually has good reason to do so, which translates into staying away to equal common sense.” Keash shook his head. “I'm not so big on those kinds of places when I'm on my own, let alone with my son along for the ride. I'm no model citizen nor do I get along with any law kind of enforcement I've ever encountered in my life but those places are lawless Derf. Shooting your head off just to see if the sight on a rifle is calibrated correctly isn't unheard of or even an uncommon event in such places.” Derf looked up to meet Keash's eyes before saying “It does have the one thing that might give us a snowball's chance in hell of getting ourselves out of the mess we've been manipulated into..... Information about the man who sent the cargo to me as payment for the debt he owed me for decades.” Though throughout the time Keash had spent with the man he had never sensed any threat or evil in him when Derf spoke those last words they were frightening to Keash. The venom and sheer hatred lacing them made Keash notch up the priority for learning more about this alien man inside their home. “Hey, i don't know what you've got in mind but as far as I'm concerned you're no less of a risk to me and my son than you were before. My son isn't here pointing a disruptor at you right now but I hope you don't think that means no weapons are pointed at you or no intelligence is watching your every move, orders to shoot at any sign you pose a threat to me, my son or the ship!” Keash told him in angry tones. His expression told Derf the man wasn't kidding and had judged postponed deciding what to do with Derf until higher priority issues had been dealt with. Oddly the realization pleased Derf and made him feel more comfortable being forced to trust this Human, traveling with his child, in a massive and remarkable ship the man supposedly constructed himself. A moment of silence followed, long but without any awkwardness, as Keash put together what he knew about Derf and what he had been told by Derf in his mind before feeding it to his instinct and gut feeling. Then Keash asked “I think it is time i become your bff whom you reveal your darkest secrets to pal. I want to know everything that lead to our converging in the exciting way we met each other. If i think you're lying or trying to deceive me or keeping things from me... or rather when my ship's AI tells me your bio signs indicate you are... i'll order her to beam you onto an asteroid with just your torso sticking above the surface.” The expression on Keash's face, as well as the dark and dangerous edge to his voice as he spoke left no doubt in Derf's mind that this in fact was another matter of life and death in the growing list of such matters he had wound up experiencing in the past few weeks and months. Derf looked away from Keash and breathed another sigh of resignation before he answered. “well, i guess you're entitled to at least that. Full disclosure and absolute honesty. You're gonna get it, but remember that YOU asked for it.” the alien began. His gaze seemed to look far into his past and into parts of himself he'd rather not acknowledge for the reason of it making him feel so stupid. “My childhood was alright I guess, though masses of people would probably get angry when they'd hear me say that. Compared to many I had everything I could ever want and then some. My parents were wealthy and I had every opportunity to grow up, develop, study, and be whatever I wanted to become. But to me, there was enough that wasn't great at all and so I became arrogant, selfish and in need to find something to belong to... to be part of. I needed to feel like there was a group or place or culure or anything really that accepted me as part of them without questions or reservations.” Pausing his telling for a moment he looked at Keash before asking “Hey, did you have anything to eat yet today? I know I haven't and I'm hungry as hell. How about we have the replicator conjure up a meal before I go on?” Keash nodded in agreement. He hadn't had the chance to eat since before the ambush by the pirates and he could use a good pasta right about now. Ten minutes later the two men sat at the dining table eating their selected meals and Derf decided to continue telling Keash the sad tale of his life. “I wound up finding what I was looking for in the odd Hardcore house party scene, and the subculture called Gabbers in which I blissfully immersed myself completely. It was a party to party rollercoaster in which having a hangover was considered a failure to consume enough drugs and too few parties to choose from.” Derf said, clearly visiting some memories from those days in his mind's eye. “The problem with that life was that in-between parties and drug binged adventures you found yourself in places and sharing company with what most would call the lower steps on the ladder of sentient life. And in those environments, there are usually two kinds of people: Predators and prey. I wouldn't have admitted it at the time, even to myself as I thought myself quite the ferocious predator, but I was the prey most of the time. I had been ignorant and naive coming from my sheltered upbringing into the in-your-face and fuck all y'all while we have our party society.” Keash had been listening intently to the man and the story of his past while he ate. He had given no indication of what he thought of the man's tale seeming to take knowledge of it without judgment. After swallowing a bite of stake Keash spoke for the first time since Derf had started his story. “I have had that feeling for the most part of my life myself. In my case, it turned out I'd never find it, to this very day. I looked for it everywhere, from street gangs to Starfleet, but I never felt I've belonged.” he told Derf, wondering himself why he did so. “But you did, and found yourself a Mackerell in Shark-infested waters” Keash added, prodding Derf to continue his story. “Ah, you've been paying attention! Now I'm getting nervous, that usually never happens when I tell a story.” Derf smiled and set down his glass next to the empty plate in front of him. “Like I said my folks were pretty loaded and compared to most folks I spent my time with I wasn't scraping no barrels myself if you get what I mean. The thing about that is that if you're not getting money in, the source of your money is eventually going to run out, and of course, it will do so when it is the worst time for it to do so. In my case, it happened on the nice little shithole where we met.” “Thank god, I thought you were going to take longer to tell your life's story than it took you to live it, man. Go on, what happened” Keash rumbled and banged his fist on the table for emphasis. “After a rave which was held on a mountain plateau a couple of hundred miles from the settlement, i wound up in town looking for some way to keep the buzz and excitement going being nowhere near ready to accept the party was over. I bounced into one of the dive bars there which had a beat coming from their speakers at least close to the hardcore beats I had bounced on during the three-day rave I came from. Inside I started to drink enthusiastically of the local shine they served there. Pretty soon the drugs in my system were overwhelmed by the alcohol and found myself invited to a game of cards. Looking back I know I was taken for a shave like a little lamb of course but the next morning I woke up face down somewhere in the industrial part of the settlement with nothing but my raver shorts and trainers on.” Derf told Keash with a regretful expression. “I learned that my folks had cut me off and my accounts were empty. The fellas from the card game roughly enlightened me about the missing bits in my memory in which they had extended me a generous line of credit and an open bar tab which they would like to be compensated for... and some other stuff involving two Orion women they insisted were not slaves but exotic dancers.” Derf went on, almost coming to the point at which Keash had been an active part of the story himself. I had nothing anymore, my folks didn't accept any calls, and the guys I owed the money to got more and more impatient. There was one long shot I had left to try and that was Misbakesle.” Derf got up and deposited the dishes into the replicator to be reclaimed, and ordered a racktajino for himself. Keash nodded he'd have one too and after retrieving the second mug from the replicator moved to give it to Keash. After having sat back down Derf went on to finish the story. “Decades back, when we were kids, Misbakesle and I were best friends. One time we had gotten ourselves lost in the outback around the campsite our parents had decided to vacation on. It was an almost untouched planet, and the fauna had never encountered sentient beings, let alone humanoids. We went exploring of course and got lost. During our wanderings, I saw some form of local bird swoop down towards Misbakesle and something shoot from its mouth, or from its belly or something. I reacted in reflex throwing myself against him and knocking him out of the way. I wasn't as fortunate and a spike, which the bird used to hunt its prey, stuck itself deep into my left thigh.” “Mistakes made a big deal out of it, claiming eternal debt and servitude to me for saving his life. I was initially glad that the spike was easy to remove from my thigh and that I felt little pain. The bird had probably taken a better look at what it had shot at and decided there was easier tastier prey to be had elsewhere. A search party found us soon after that but hours later I started to have organ failures all over my body. One after the other just quit working and for months i was kept alive with organ transplant after organ transplant. Just when everyone thought there was nothing that could save me, and just hours from death the scientist of the Federation outpost nearby had found a cure and saved my life. Misbakesle and I became inseparable friends for years. He always assured me that he was indebted to me and that he would give or do anything within his power to repay me for saving his life whenever I decided to collect on it. Over the years though he became more and more involved in activities I wanted no part of. Slave trade, weapons brokering, and that sort of thing. We drifted apart and eventually never saw each other again for over 18 years until I called him. The rest as they say, is history. He fucked me over and in the process fucked you over as well, bringing us here, now, in the present, wanted by Orions, Starfleet, and who knows who else.” Derf finished. After polishing off a bottle of genuine Glenfiddich single malt whiskey while Keash regaled Derf with the tale of his sorry excuse for a life and the adventures he’d had in the years he’d spent in space the two men, brought together by events that had left both their futures completely in ruins, decided they were friends and liked the other’s company. Keash had shown Derf one of the passenger quarters the Breda offered and which Keash always kept ready to receive customers and told the odd little alien it was his for the duration of his stay on the Breda. Then he’d gone back to the living quarters and spent a good hour watching his little boy peacefully asleep in his little bedroom before finally crashing into his own bed. A good three hours later the voice of the ship’s AI woke Keash with her still not completely alive sounding voice. „master Keash, one of the trigger conditions defined for waking you has been met“ the female voice stated simply. Grunting, as the hangover asserted itself into Keash’s brain, his body, in his own opinion far too old for this shit, seemed to protest every notion of movement. „Report, what condition and met how?“ he asked getting his pants on and stumbling out of his bedroom. „Sensors have detected a vessel on a heading for our position within the range specified for triggering a wake-up alarm.“ the emotion void voice dutifully replied. Keash was wide awake and alert as he heard those words and almost sprinted onto the bridge. Crashing into his seat more than sitting down in it he punched controls and keys left and right activating the displays that would show him the information he needed to know. The information worried him deeply. A vessel was indeed plowing its way through the asteroid field coming straight at their position. „Fire up the propulsion systems and raise the shields. Get active sensor readings and show me an image of the ship“ he instructed the AI, while he was racking his brain for an explanation. To his knowledge, none of the ships in use these days were capable to withstand the kinetic energies that a ship was unavoidable to be subjected to like the Breda was. „The approaching vessel is a Klingon Negh’Var class dreadnaught battleship. Its weapons are charged and its defensive measures are activated.“ announced the AI’s voice simultaneously with Keash’s brain’s exclamation „Klingons!“ To deny fear gripped Keash’s chest knowing a Negh’Var was coming straight at them with all weapons hot and pointed at you would be at best a self-delusion. Sweat started to flow over his face and soaked his clothes. „Derf to the bridge! And I think you want to hurry! How’s your tlhingHan’Hol?“ he yelled into the commlink to Derf’s quarters. The viewscreen at the front of the bridge, which wrapped 180 degrees of the command seat, resolved into the first sharp images of the angry-looking Klingon ship of war doggedly maintaining a straight course even though it took impact after impact of hard rocks, iceballs the size of the statue of liberty and chunks of metal the size of London double decker busses. Disruptor beams crisscrossed space around the ship taking out larger or faster asteroids or at least softening them up enough not to pose a real threat to the IKS wISuq under captain’s L’Torgh. Even though Keash knew it would be a Don Quichotte's charge on the windmills, Keash also knew there was nothing else left to do. The Neg’Var was faster, had more power, bigger guns, and a crew of 1000 Klingon warriors for waging hand-to-hand combat or even full-scale planetary conquest. Nothing Keash could do at that point would prevent the Breda from coming into the Klingon’s weapon range and being cut to shreds by the Disruptor beam arrays, cannons, photon, and quantum torpedoes, or tricobalt high yield tactical missiles. So as Derf flashed onto the bridge to witness the Breda on course to intercept the Klingon battleship and do a strafing run peppering its underside with phased pulse cannons, phaser lance, and the phase disrupted polaron plasma beam array combined with a full spread of quantum entangled de-phased photon torpedoes followed by the release of replicator based cloaked mines he nearly blew up his heart out of his hips! „Sometimes I misjudge people and find they’re the opposite of what I thought them to be. You’re one of them. I thought you were a reasonable, quiet, and intelligent fellow. Quite obviously you’re completely MAD!“ Derf whimpered landing in the seat by the bridge station he used. „Well, unless you’re not in the process of ATTACKING one of the Klingon’s most awesomely powerful warships!!“ he added with a pleading expression. That was the moment the first volley of disrupter fire was inescapable for the IMS Breda and slammed into her shields with a vengeance. Lights flickered and some screens went black or static for a moment before coming back up slowly. Erratic banks and turns combined with the Breda’s refusal to allow more than 500 meters of distance between it and the hull of the giant Klingon battleship conspired from that point on to make it impossible for the Klingon gunners to get the human cargo ship into their sights. Keash knew that would buy them only a modicum of time to figure a way out before the helm on the Klingon bridge would be ordered to simply ram the TerrangHaNG PetaQ’Pu and swat them like flies with the Neg’Var’s massive hull itself but was coming up blank as for viable ideas. Then the Neg’Var stopped maneuvering and came to a dead stop. Its weapons powered down, allowing Derf to notice and notify Keash of an incoming hail. „Klingons wanting to talk when they’re about to destroy an enemy in battle?“ Keash wondered in astonishment before keying the comm to connect the signal. A huge broad shouldered Klingon captain standing on a spacious bridge stood proudly while his eyes burned with what Keash recognized as the Klingon bloodlust. „I am Captain L’Torgh, son of Moktor of the House of Quch. I command the IKS wISuq. Identify yourself Human!“ the man barked in typical Klingon civil manner. „I am Keash Faultish, Captain and owner of the Independant Mercheant Ship Breda. State your intent and purpose!“ Keash snarled in return, before adding in a tone of voice suggesting disgust and contempt „qatlh quvHa' quvHa' HIv loD“ The Klingon Captain descended into a belly lough which couldn’t have been faked by even the best actor in the Universe. It lasted a good minute before ebbing off into gaffuws and finally the Klingon Captains regaining of his wits and baring. „I give this warning only once Human; Never again accuse me of willingly bringing dishonor to those i command. Death will come before you finish speaking that sentence in which you try.“ the Klingon snarled and despite having seen the man literally laugh his ass off just seconds before there was no mistaking the threat’s sincerity. „By order of the Klingon High council your cargo will be seized. You will be allowed to leave undamaged as soon as we’ve confirmed receipt on the transporter coordinates you’re now receiving. Failure to comply completely and unconditionally will result in your immediate destruction. These terms are non-negotiable and you will have no time to consider your options. Do you understand?“ the booming voice demanded before crossing his arms. Keash knew that he was being offered an unprecedented way out of this situation other than by becoming atomized and spread over lightyears of space. He knew that Klingons were true to their word, literally. „Understood. Initiating transport now“ he replied, all the wile keeping his eyes locked with the Klingon Captain across the subspace commlink. A voice snapped of a report in thlIngHan Hol from off screen and the Klingon nodded. He then turned to face Keash again and said in a low voice „You acted and fought like an honorable Klingon warrior Human. So much so you impressed those who command me. That is the only reason you keep drawing breath today. But make no mistake. Your spilled Klingon blood! Next time we meet, one of us will die!“ The connection was cut immediately after that and the gigantic ship shimmered just for a second before vanishing completely as if it had never existed at all. „Senors have determined the parameters for the state of all quiet have been met. Recommend deactivation of offensive and defensive systems and resuming idle operating mode.“ the ship’s AI stated ridiculously. Neither of the two men spoke for a long while after the Negh’var class Klingon dreadnought had reversed its course and lumbered its way out of visual range and out of the asteroid field. All indications were that the Starfleet vessel was still on its side of the field doing whatever it was they were doing to find a way to get at the Breda and that they’d never even noticed the Klingon’s were even there. Keash also knew they couldn’t stay in the position they were in for very much longer. Pretty soon the creative minds on the Starfleet vessel would figure something out to either get to the Breda or force the Breda to come out herself. Having been in the fleet himself for a number of years he had first-hand experience in their ability to do the seemingly impossible when the need called for the impossible. “I hope what i’m going to say is as clear to you as it is to me but we have to go after the Klingons and either get the shipment back or destroy it.” Keash finaly told Derf. Blinking twice in obvious confusion, then shock, Derf turned white at the thought. “Again I realize I was wrong in my assessment of you” his high pitched voice replied with a stricken expression. “You’re not MAD.... You’re so crazy they’ve not yet created a word with which to sufficiently express its severity!” he exclaimed almost yelling, now screaming. “Calm down!” Keash snapped, more harshly than he’d intended. “Why the hell would we want to go and kill ourselves in a suicidal attempt at getting at that shipment?” Derf asked, as if not noticing Keash anymore. “We’ve got a chance to escape this mess alive and with a head start. Why not take it and run?!” he finally asked gazing into Keash’s eyes, unfortunately genuinely baffled. Keash held his gaze for a moment before looking down at the floor. “Starfleet has no idea we no longer have the weaponry nor does its disappearance diminish our ‘crime’ in their legal system. We’re just as wanted as we were and just as in prison for the rest of our lives as we were before.” Keash started to explain in a hushed voice. “The Orions, if it's them who are behind the raid, don’t know we no longer have the shipment and so will continue to hunt for us unrelentingly until they find us, and when they do we will suffer horribly before they end our lives.” Keash went on, counting off two with his finger. Then he raised a third finger saying “And weaponry of the kind the Klingons just took from us in the hands of the Klingons will sooner or later be used to kill hundreds, thousands, or even millions of people and I would not be able to live with myself being associated with such horror” Resignation spread across Derf’s expression as he sighed and hung his head. “Damnit, I’m supposed to be a scumbag low life who cares about nothing but his own skin!” he snarled adding “but I can’t even convince myself I don’t give a shit about who gets killed with that stuff as long as it isn’t me.” It amazed Keash how relieved he was to hear Derf say that. He knew he’d have had to part ways with Derf if he had insisted on going on the run and it might have gotten ugly before they did. “Well, let's get our asses in gear and get moving then,” he said and started working the consoles to put his words into action. Not long after that, the Breda started moving, following the slowly dissipating cleared path left behind by the massively large Klingon ship when it had left the asteroid field. Near the outer edge of the field, Breda’s sensors told Keash that there was no sign of any other vessel that might be able to witness their emergence from the field. Unfortunately neither did they find any trace of the Klingon ship or of the course it had taken from there the Breda might follow. REST OF DOCUMENT MISSING! The Orville's Season 3 Premiere. My experience. `!WARNING! This article will be full of spoilers! Spoilers for this episode, previous episodes, Star Wars, Pipi Langkous, and even the shit you are going to take a year from now. If you don't like spoilers, stop reading now, and go vent your feelings to your neighbor's daughter's cat!` [LOL! I had not noticed i accidentally did CTRL-V V instead of just a single V. https://nothing.com oopsie Having that out of the way... `Please give my sponsors some love. They deserve it, and so do you!` So I enthusiastically simply downed and then played the episode in my Potplayer. The first impressions?? The opening scene had me excited from the very first nanosecond. Confused as well. Simultaneously awestruck by the sequences of Battle, the Doc's kid running and barely making it, and trying to make my brain come up with the memory of the last episode of the last season. I thought: "Didn't they kick Kaylon ass together with the Krill?" Me being me, I was two centimeters away from hitting pause on the episode to load up the season finale for season two to see what the hell I missed that has season three start with such a frantic battle scene. But I didn't do it! Yet... Then the jump scare didn't work due to the announcing of it Isaac's behavior. And then suddenly the peace and quiet of the space station and The Orville docked therein. But soon... Recovered from initial sensory overthingemasomething. Finally, breathing normally again, I was settling in for the episode to really take off. The next thing I felt was the empathy for the disgustingly prejudiced way Isaac's treated. But what I wasn't ready for…The emotional factor, the emotional release which I felt (Complete with goosebumps and a tear included!) when Orville's tune started. It was almost like the euphoria you get from synthetic drugs!! Really learned something about myself. Most notably that I've still got much to learn on that topic. I realized I have not felt this emotional at the start of a season, triggered by the opening theme, since Deep Space 9!!! I never expected I'd be this much in love with the Orville, and neither did I know I was this much in love with the Orville until 09:20 into the video!!! Friends, visiting. I hadn't realized either that, like with the crews of TNG, DS9, VOY, and ENT, the crew of the Orville had become good friends, that came to visit once a week. Well, no that's not right. It's like I am a friend of theirs, and I go visit them once a week, and just happen to be there at the most important, impactful, and meaningful events that they experience in their lives.… Wait no that's not right either... It's maybe a mix of both.… Anyway, I tend to develop emotional bonds, which are very much like good friendships, with the characters of a show that's weekly watched as such shows are meant to be experienced. No Binging for me my friend! I don't believe I would have built up an emotional bond as I did with Orville's crew if I had binged it or had season binges. Maybe that's because I am old. When I grew up series could only be consumed that way, weekly or daily, depending on the series. Yeah sure. I'll start feeling old pre-emptively then. Sure you could tape every episode (i did, but that's not the point), and then after the final episode was done, you could binge the season I guess, but that didn't even occur to us at the time. No, back then you watched the episode as it was aired on the network or channel you had available. Only acceptable exceptions... If you really liked a series or started watching really late (like after the last episode of the last season aired) You'd put the time and date the channel broadcasted the next episode in your agenda and make damned sure everyone knew that for example Thursdays from 19:00 till 20:00 you did not exist for this reality, so no one would dare disturb you while you were watching the show. Waaaait a second.... Hang on a minute!! Oofff…that was much more of an analysis slash elaboration than I had in mind when I started this doc. This doc actually means to have only bullet points stating impressions I had while watching the episode to remind me what and when I had an extraordinary impression after I finished watching and started writing the actual article I was planning on cranking out. That may be, however... There's no way in Klasinaveen I'm not gonna use all that I have already typed out so far. I am almost 600 words in, so that would be a damned waste now, wouldn't it?! No one asks about Klasinaveen, understood! But, I would be remiss if I didn't disclose at this point that 26 minutes into the episode I went and paused it after all. I couldn't get rid of the feeling I was missing something, that my memory was not 100% complete or accurate. I went and put on the season 2 finale episode.…and came up blank trying to match it with anything in my memory. So…what is the actual Fox? My going theory is that when I watched the season finale, and the episode preceding it, I was less than sober, sleep watching everything between the opening and ending credits thereby thinking I'd seen those episodes while in fact, II'episode did not. Research, investigation and super-sleuthing, Because other than the recognition that they had an episode around a time-lost Kelly showing up on the Orville there was nothing in the second to last episode that I recognized, and there was a disconnection between that episode and the start of the season finale episode. (sigh, this was, or is, going to take me some time to figure out because… Well,.. I now can not go back to the episode in which the Kaylon story arch started, and then watch all episodes that followed it that had any relation to that Kaylon making war on the rest of the Universe, make sure I understand the Kaylon arch before I even think Of when I go and finish watching the season 3 premiere episode. Understood? No? Ah crud! I hate myself, or the quirks I have, so much at times…I am not making things any easier for myself…I know that much. And you're telling me that because...? I'm not telling you anything! I'm typing! Activity that I employed from this point: [Watching the episodes about the Kaylon war stuff] AHAAH! Well, finally having figured out where the confusion comes from I found myself burdened with the daunting task of having to "read" 2 series of comic books, in order to get completely up to date with canon lore. Why I do is a topic in and of itself, but I hate reading comics and hate it, even more, when a series decides to publish comics and treat them as canon in the live-action series. But Seth obviously disagrees with my opinion, and so I am sentenced to comics. Comics should not be considered Canon. The number of Comic book readers is far outnumbered by those who don't. Do not make them suffer through those comics if they want to know all the canon lore!! Having taken a look at the comics I've decided not to read them. Fox it, watching season 2 from episode 8 onward will just have to do dammit! Cringing!! And I should mention at this point that, while most of those episodes are awesome the relationship between Isaac and the doc…Let's be friendly and say I found it very cringe at best. *****Not the notion of Artificial lifeforms having a relationship with organic ones, I can even see myself getting myself into something like that one day, but the way it is done in the Orville is almost too cringy to watch, let alone re-watch.***** *(I will not admit it, but it is not impossible my experience of this part of Orville's story might be experienced less positively by me than by anyone else because in my mind the doc isn't the doc, or at least not JUST the doc. She's Emissaries' wife, Kassidy Yates.)* https://whatnow.com Kassidy Yates I find it difficult to see her as the doc, having many personality traits, mannerisms, and "feel" that Kassidy Yates had as well. I know that's a ME problem. But it's a problem nonetheless, for me. But I'll endure it to jar my memory after…what? Two years? No, THREE YEARS By the time I was halfway through the 8th episode of the second season though my memory had received a good kick in the ass though, and I remembered all of it. I kept watching though, kind of immersed in the story once more. The whole concept of an artificial life form that could, for whatever reason, come to exterminate its organic creators is as much if not more current than it was in 2019. The complexity and power of the AI's we're developing are noticeably growing, and they're growing faster with each breakthrough. The moment at which AI's intelligence and power growth become exponential will come sooner or later (sooner, trust me). We need to decide before then if we allow the development to continue or stop it completely. We need to decide before it goes exponential! If we do not stop it before that moment, we will not be able to afterward. The AI will grow more intelligent so fast that we will not be able to monitor it or control it. We will no longer be intelligent enough to understand any of it. And when I look at our planet, and our history I could easily make a good argument for the problem with our planet has been and continues to be.… Humanity. But that's a related topic however and thus off-topic for now. Having watched the 9th episode, with the epic battle for Earth in which the kid's dream takes place and the animosity towards Isaac spawned from, and my memory helpfully providing the information about the Krill negotiations, the Moclan's…thing.... as well as the alternate Kelly timeline, I've put two and two together. It was those alternate timeline episodes that threw me off. The season finale was not an episode that preceded the season premiere, so glimpsing back at the season 2 finale didn't help my memory to come up with the answer to my "huh, who the what now?" sensation that came up watching the beginning of the season 3 premiere. Knowing that the last 2 episodes of the 2nd season "didn't happen" made all the difference, realizing that in fact the season opener for season 3 more or less follows up the 10th episode. I think I'll enjoy the season 3 premiere without any nagging feelings of missing something important. And so.…back to Season 3, episode 1, 20 minutes into the episode. Ok, the scene where Marcus tells Isaac he wants him dead got me right in the feels. Not gonna lie. The suicide scene that follows gave me shivers down my spine noticeably and upset me more than I thought it could, more than I know it should, and certainly more than it seemed to upset the crew of the Orville. At least that's how it comes across to me. I know they're all professionals and are supposed to be composed and all.…but damn, they're talking about a friend, a brother in arms, and possibly the only edge they've got against the Kaylon. But nothing more than a scowl and a frown is what they show when they find out an emotionless AI committed suicide because the crew hates him. I have to admit the focus on and prominence of the relationship between the doc and Isaac took me out of the immersion and killed the emotional feelings i had after Mercer's eulogy, which I found profoundly disappointing. Again, might be my hang-up on Cassidy. But dayum, that scene where the doc broke down in the simulated restaurant…No matter how much I didn't want to…she broke through all that, and i cried with her. Yeah, no shit. I Foxxing cried dammit! What the hell, am i getting soft with old age? Fortunately, the launching scene blew that away like a fart blowing away the smoke. The new renderings of the Orville…breathtaking!!! The puffer fish lady by the way… Brilliant, and fascinating. From that point on throughout the sequence of scenes that ultimately lead to Isaac being revived, or maybe resurrected, comes across a bit…I don't know…less intuitive…less smoothly flowing… It feels to me like those scenes were filmed very early in the production, and as if the actors or the director kind of still need to get back into "their flow" after the two or three years of not having performed in front of cameras. Like they still have that first day jitters or something. I can't really find the words to describe what I mean accurately, and that annoys me more than you'll ever know, but it's.… You know the feeling of leaving one employer to go work for another doing the same job, but you have a vacation before you start at your new workplace. On that first day, the first few hours in the new location and facilities but doing the job you've always done, you're still kind of unsure because the tools you're given are slightly different, the location is different and the whole dynamic of the environment you work in is different? Well, that's how it feels the actors and or director were when they shot those scenes of the reviving of Isaac. Bradley's last remark "I didn't do it for you", implying she did it for, or because of, Marcus and the talk she'd had with the kid has less of an impact than it intended to have, in some way, I suspect. I don't know why but this piece is about how I experienced the season 3 premiere and that's how it felt to me. The last scene with Marcus standing in the doorway, struggling with himself, then deciding to turn back but with a slight smile felt to me like it represented the whole crew's feelings a bit. It also drove the point To me at least, that though the sharp edges of the hatred and anger of the crew towards Isaac have dulled and Isaac's kind of on his way to redemption, or at least acceptance, Isaac was still alone in "his" science lab. `I shall refrain from commenting on the continuing desperate, almost begging from the doctor for Isaac to show some feelings, to reciprocate, or at least acknowledge there is…"something" there to justify her hopes and dreams of them becoming a couple, happy together.` *note to self, contemplate why I now have that "You and me, and me and you, no matter how they toss the dice..(...)" in my head, and I cannot get it out* So, now you know how my experience was watching the season 3 premiere of The Orville, now on Hulu apparently. I can't get Hulu so I use 1337x sourced files, and I will continue to until they figure out people are not going to subscribe to 5 different streaming platforms just so they can watch 5 series or somehting. Ho Ho Ho, yarrr me maties! https://1337x.to Thanks for reading this. Stay safe, and stay happy. @AnonSunamun
Don't laugh, it could be the worse thing of your life! They are the worst thing you can ever experience, the day after and probably days after. The time it is happening, though it is the funniest shit you've ever experienced. Don't forget to give some attention to my sponsors, they're awesome! *(I regret that I have lost most of my sponsors, having only 2 left. I hope I haven't offended any of my former sponsors. If I did I apologize)* https://media.giphy.com/media/3oz8xIsloV7zOmt81G/giphy.gif My last one started as usual after a long day sitting at the computer to do last-minute things, so you have something to cross off from some to-do list. I was sent a video of something that, while not even remotely funny, made me chuckle. A "Mwuwhaha" kind of laughter. The sound i made when it came out sounded funny and knowing it came out of me was making it even funnier. And then it began. I began laughing. Soon my brain had made laughing so efficient it existed of finding the notion of laughing because it is funny I'm laughing because its funny that I'm laughing. I laughed for over 9 hours straight. Then i went to sleep and i woke up absolutely unhappy and not in a laughing mood anymore. I had pain in muscles i never knew existed in my cheeks, neck, and sides. And the pain was…uniquely excruciating. And it kept hurting with every slight movement of any part of my body. A whole week went by before i stopped feeling pain when i moved. Oegieboegieboegie, don't laught to much!!! thank you for reading this Stay safe, and stay happy. @AnonSunamun
Marc DeMesel's comments on his view of read.cash and Bitcoin Cash `[EDIT]I decided to edit this article as the beginning of the article could be discouraging readers from reading it. I basically cut the first three paragraphs.` Somber about the future of readcash This is motivated by the response I got from Mr. Marc DeMesel during a live stream he had recently. In that stream, I kind of unintentionally spammed questions about not realizing there was a delay between us typing in the chat and the message appearing on his side. Marc answered the first question I had entered. Have look at what I asked and what he replied: (in the non-readcash world I am known as deuZige) https://youtu.be/ofbSA92Q2jM?t=2644 (from 44:04 onwards if the link doesn't take you there right away.) It isn't until 1:09:05 in the video (which was a live stream at the time) that Marc gets the question I asked. He reads it out before replying to it. Okay okay... So you could kind of skip to 1:09:05 I guess. But you'll have missed my hilarious attempts at getting Marc's attention unaware he hadn't gotten the first one yet.. But what did Marc say? He starts by stumbling over my nickname's pronunciation which is hilarious to me because he should be able to pronounce it perfectly. It's a Dutch, or rather Brabant's word meaning crazy one. But that's not the point here... He then begins the on-topic reply by mentioning the developer is still active, with periods... He then explains that read and noise cash have not yielded the results they expected. He explains that Readcash is too small, which was discouraging. then he goes on saying that they then had noisecash but that they don't see real growth there. He also laments the platform is plagued by lots of abuse and exploitation. The Paying for content idea did not achieve the desired result which was getting many people familiar with and active in bitcoin cash. He hopes people continue to try to make Bitcoin Cash a success, mentioning he is also still invested but has taken a big step back in his engagement in the project. He has focussed on other investments to make sure he is a successful investor, that being his goal and not making bitcoin cash a success. He goes on to say he invests in the stock market and lists more things he's busy with. He states that he would like to put more energy into actually studying different (crypto) projects and that it is his interest for the future." It is at this point it seemed he seemed to struggle with words and seemed unsure of what he wanted to say. So, from this point I'll quote his words literally as he said them: ***"i think bch…*** ***actually it's we have to be carefull because i believe like...*** ***yeah i cut my exposure in half but likely…*** ***I will feel pain…*** ***because there is pain in loosing money*** ***and there's even more pain in selling off and then later seeing it go up a lot"*** ***"Uh and and and i think actually it's quite a big a big risk here for bitcoin cash uh.......*** ***What what what's really in need still…*** ***i'm still bullish on bitcoin cash it's just my personal engagement has gone down a lot...*** ***but i am still invested a lot and i will likely yeah…*** ***i will see what i do in the future but i still believe that bitcoin cash is great fundamentals heh.*** ***uh. its a tier one project*** ***uh truly decentralized cryptocurrency that's managed to bow (?)*** ***and that you can built things on top*** ***and that that has also been happening.*** ***but um yeah right now it's out of favor by the market uuuuhm*** ***and i really hope that that turns around but it's not that's not in my hands."*** Then a silence drops before he goes on in a somewhat dejected tone. ***"And i've certainly like tried to make it happen*** ***i've also put in lots of energy*** ***as so many people have done and we'll see how the future goes."*** And then he moves on to another comment and other topics. At 1:14:03 I give my last reply to Marc: Clear and logical, thanks for the reply. This was on May 13th and I've had a while to think about it and rewatch this bit. And if I'm honest I think he sounded like someone who didn't want to let someone down, didn't want to be the one to destroy another one's dreams and hopes. Coincidentally the statement that the developer is still active got confirmed today. The top tippers on the stats page have been updated. So the dev is still out there, watching us! ***But one fix does not a development make!*** There's that at least. So what do we take away from these words? The most important thing though concerning readcash in all that Marc said was that he reduced his exposure in bch by half and that, disappointed in the results, he has moved on to other things. He has disengaged with readcash and noisecash and bitcoin cash. Which fits in with his earlier mentioning that he hopes other people continue to try to make bitcoin cash a success. Now there are probably as many different opinions as there are individuals that have an opinion. But the conclusion I'm drawing from this for the future of this site are these: * readcash, while not abandoned, is not actively being developed. It is being maintained with some small fixes being made like to the top tippers list in the stats (and the removal of the daily tips given by the randomrewarder aka Rusty. Could that be to hide an upcoming reduction in the daily tipping budget for Rusty?) * The fund that has been the source for the tips Randy gives us is unlikely to be refilled let alone expanded. This likely means that when the fund runs out, so does Randy. I doubt the site will be able to run on the tips of the community. Way too many see Randy as a side hustle, or even their main source of income. * If nothing is done, either by the community, the developer, or anyone, readcash is doomed, and eventually slowly dies. * Easily said but what can there be done? What is possible and what is needed to make things possible? Ever since that Livestream, I've been banging my mind on what Marc said and the things we've been witnessing on both read/noisecash and also bitcoin cash and I think that we need something like a community brainstorming session. Something like a place where everyone that has something that might help can add it to the #REIGNITEBCH resource pool, things like information, stats, ideas, skills, influence, and so on together in one place might spark the idea in someone that they'd not had if they'd not had the resources in one place. So…any thoughts on that? THE END!!!! Of the article. I am going to end this article by pointing out to those wondering if my anti-writer's block method is any good that I've managed to crank out 1400 words or so after starting with absolutely 0 words of inspiration for an article. That's not bad in my book!! Thanks for reading this. Stay safe and stay happy!
I've done it. I solved the life problem.. I think I've done it! https://en.akinator.com/ I have reached the end-game of this game called life. I've finally distilled the important three things that will guarantee (almost) a life that is happy, eventful, and successful. SIMMER DOWN! `And have a look at my sponsors! You'll be glad you did!` Sholy Hit! ***Let me finish before breaking out the pitchforks and torches, sheeesh!!!*** Of course, there are some asterixes and "when" "if" and "if not" to consider with that statement. One of them is that the trinity guarantee only covers one's own actions and influenceable situations. Outside influence and unforeseen incidents aren't covered, even though the trinity offers the best course out of anything the outside might get you into. You're civilized, aren't you? https://en.akinator.com/ But I suggest y'all take your instinctive need to burn me down and run me out of town down a notch and let me finish. If at the end of the article you still feel I should be burnt at the stakes, or drawn and quartered, by all means, get organized and hunt me down. So…here we go. The first pillar. Believe, feel, and know you can do anything you truly passionately want to do or that you're able to learn how to do it quickly. Whatever you're objection is that instinctively grips your neck and makes it hard for you to breathe, it is wrong! Whatever it is that makes you doubt that this goes for you as much as for anyone else, it isn't real and you made it up. It's not whatever you think keeps this from being true for you, but it is YOU that is the only obstacle. Here's what I mean: If you really want to do something everything you do to progress towards doing that thing you want to do is exciting, interesting, and (sometimes only in hindsight) a part of the experience of the journey to the end goal. Everybody can do or learn anything they enjoy or need to learn to be able to do what they enjoy. It is a residual instinctive thing left over from our pre-sentient ancestors. I like to remind people at this point that "no one really needed to teach you how to masturbate right?" maybe you didn't figure out all the details on your own but the mechanics (rub there, incredibly good feeling after a while) you found out on your own, you learned that without realizing that you were learning something. https://bored.com So if you really like something, and want something passionately, you will, seemingly without effort, learn what you need to learn to do it. Might only learn how to do it badly, but you'll learn how to do it. Unless your sentient human pathetic emotionally unstable self manages to convince you of some stupid shit it fabricated because… whatever. Only you can keep you from doing what you really truly passionately want to do. No one and nothing else can stop you. https://kapot.ga End of the 1st pilar. Ooooh wheeeeeey.… Dayum, can you feel the tension? Can you feel the barely contained rage? This first bit pushed a lot of buttons. It salted a load of sore nerves I can tell. But, with this being the readcash community, everyone is civilized enough to control themselves until I've finished. Awesome! I love this community! Second pillar. DYOR. Do Your Own Research. Among many of you a phrase inextricably linked to cryptocurrency, crypto trading, crypto everything. I have never understood how it got linked to crypto, to be honest. Because it's a phrase that is inextricably linked to EVERYTHING IN LIFE! Never ever believe something, accept anything as fact or let yourself be convinced by anything just because one or more other people say so. When someone tries to convince you of something, always ask yourself why that person wants to convince you. What is their motivation? (note the question is not What do they say their motivation is, there's a big difference). Always helpful and worth keeping in mind at all times: * The Universe is under no obligation to make sense to you. * The most complicated thing in the universe will fail if the simplest part of it does not work. Look for the simple parts of anything and see if they work. If they don't…the complexity they're part of isn't going to work either. *** * The only one, the only thing, in this Universe that will ever do something that benefits you only because it benefits you is YOU! This logically leads to the conclusion; that the only one you can trust to do anything for you is you. Everyone else has ulterior motives, even if you think or are told otherwise. End of pilar. Oh yeah, I know, that turned up the tension for some of you. But some are clicking in their heads already. "Wait a minute…click click click". And again, as is the nature of this community, all will politely control themselves until I had the chance to finish my argument. I love this community. Third Pillar F.A.Y.A. It is possibly the most important thing to learn. Without it though, it is impossible to truly live true to the first two pillars. FAYA stands for Fuck All Y'All. If you've kept true to the first two pillars and you still have a different view from everyone else, then you need to FAYA and do what you must regardless of what others think. If you don't, you're a traitor to yourself. End of Pilar. This is the Tripod, the Trinity, you can use as a foundation to build your personality upon. It is a stable base upon which you can build the platform support for your life. So now it's time. It is time, I am finally ready. I am finally prepared for and capable of having a successful life, from childhood to the grave. So go on, rewind, and drop me off back in 1974 so I can start my life, for realsies this time. `*reaches 88Mph*` *****FLASH!***** *Thanks for reading this* *Stay safe and stay happy!* (for those waiting for the right time to burn me, that time ended at FLASH) *** When falsehoods are created, when ideas are converted into words and deeds, when untruths are built, most of the time those doing the creating think of the big questions that will be asked. They think about the goal they want to achieve and fit their creation to the shape the goal needs it to be. They never look at the simplest parts. They never use the "common sense" checklist to see if what they create also ticks all boxes on that checklist. So narrow everything down to the simplest level and see if nothing breaks down. Consider facts that have nothing to do with the main topic or argument, but interact with it if true. If something breaks down at that level the rest isn't going to work either, no matter the cause or the consequences.

"Not that good, actually." `Go check out my sponsors! Their content is awesome!` Can't be bothered The past few days, or weeks, I've been having trouble getting myself to move my ass. And by that, I mean motivating myself to shit I need to do. As you might have noticed, I've even been having trouble motivating myself to write. I know what is causing it. I've been like this before. The problem is that I don't have the vaguest idea of how to solve this. I think I'm about to find myself in depression if I'm not already in one. Those who've read my stories before know that by last accounts all was moving along splendidly. Well, there lies the problem t.b.h... Cause nothing's changed. https://kapot.ga It's still all in the same limbo as it was 6 months ago in December. The promised study and certificates have yet to materialize. Sickness, covid and other issues keep preventing me from getting started with my studying. Half of my debt (the government debts) has been scratched, but the other half is still in the same state of progress it was in December. The government is talking to the parties involved to arrange for the debts to be removed. Until that has happened, I cannot request the judge to rule my debt arrangement to be completed and in charge of my own finances again. I feel I am letting my son down as long as I am not in charge of my own life. The compensation the government promised my son has yet to materialize as well. Even though we've had a government again for months now that issue has not been debated or voted on. At first, they'd promised that would all be finished and done before the end of the year. Then it became a march. Now they're talking "End of summer". I'm starting to lose faith in the integrity of our government representatives. To add to all that's been going on, I've discovered I am so out of shape even Plato wouldn't be able to recognize it as a form. I'm literally out of breath after a single flight of stairs! So I've got myself subscribed to a sport-club so I can go to the gym and get into shape. Well, at least I want to be in enough shape for it to escape the realm of quantum mechanics. But there's no one I know willing to go with me. Alone working out is the equivalent of boredom hell. I hope to be able to keep going anyway, but it's hard. So yeah, I don't think I'm doing well at the moment. Can't say "I'm fine" with confidence anymore. I think I'm going to read some Plato. Maybe that will straighten out my mind. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plato#The_Forms Thank you for reading this. Stay safe and stay happy! @AnonSunamun
Filipinos... WTF? What are you thinking? `Before i begin i'd like to draw your attention to my sponsors. They're awesome people with awesome content. Check them out!` It's possible https://www.pointless.com/ Alright, let me begin by stating that the possibility is not unimaginable in this article, and the questions asked in it come from ignorance and me not seeing something the rest of the world didn't realize could be overseen. But not likely The more likely reason I am the one asking these questions is that I seldomly care about PC and people feeling offended. Because, to be honest, I would much rather DuckDuckGo this one and click on an article or video that explains everything and move on. But I can't. There aren't any ELI5 articles or videos. But I'm not afraid to ask! So I am going to do the dumb thing, and hop onto the only platform where people from my side of the world and people of the nationality I am going to ask questions about both visit en masse and even interact with each other on a friendly basis. Yes, that's right Filipinos! I am talking about read.cash and I am going to be addressing y'all directly in this article. Choosing the title At first, when I started this article I was going to use the title: "WTF? Seriously? Are you pranking the world right now, or did you leave your brains at home?" I decided that was too long, and then thought about using "Philippines, blink three times if you are being threatened" but that would leave too much room for misinterpreting my meaning with this article. So it's most likely going to be "Philippines, never forget that YOU CHOSE this today." Or something else entirely. Read a lot of articles complaining about the government And let me explain what I mean by that. I have read a lot of articles from Filipinos with heavy criticism and complaints about their government. Corruption, bureaucracies, abuse of power, and things like that are mentioned as being rampant and oppressing the population, mostly the poor of society. https://weirdorconfusing.com/ So there are elections But when there's an election, where you have the chance to choose leadership that wants to change those things you complain about, you choose, and think about this as you read this: The son of the worst president the Philipines ever had, and his wife who together hold the Guinness Book World record "Greatest Robbery of a Government". https://www.spot.ph/newsfeatures/the-latest-news-features/83485/marcos-holds-guinness-world-record-title-for-greatest-robbery-a833-20200904 And you chose: The daughter of the last president is under investigation by the international court and is facing allegations of corruption. To summarize: The son of the worst dictator in your history, and the daughter of the current president, who is controversial, to say the least. Now I hear you freaking out there, shouting "You can't hold them responsible for their parent's actions!" and you're right. Except that he was very much an active part of the "Marcos" organization. He was appointed vice-governor of Ilocos Norte in 1980 and governor of Ilocos Norte in 1983 (replacing his aunt!!). He was also appointed Chair of the board for Philcomsat where he got a salary of almost 97000 dollars per month despite almost never being at the office or having any tasks within the board. After the exile of the family Marcos, investigations found that BongBong (really?!) benefitted greatly from the wealth that the family had stolen from the Filipino people. Aside from the tuition, US$10,000.00 monthly allowance, and the estates used by Marcos Jr. and Imee Marcos during their respective studies at Wharton and Princeton, each of the Marcos children were assigned a mansion in the Metro Manila area, as well as in Baguio City, the Philippines' designated summer capital. https://kapot.ga Properties specifically said to have been given to Marcos Jr., included the Wigwam House compound on Outlook Drive in Baguio City, and the Seaside Mansion Compound in Parañaque. Soon after arriving in Hawaii, Marcos Jr. participated in an attempt to withdraw US$200 million from a secret family bank account with Credit Suisse in Switzerland. Even more worrying is the fact that during the last days of the 1986 People Power Revolution, Bongbong Marcos, in combat fatigues to project his warlike stance, pushed his father Ferdinand Marcos to give the order to his remaining troops to attack and blow up Camp Crame despite the presence of hundreds of thousands of civilians there. So please stop saying the man was innocent of his father's and mother's crimes. And the vice president is going to be the daughter of the current president, or the former president rather. She used to be mayor, with her brother as vice mayor, who replaced her father, who used to be mayor before her or something. No one in the Philipines is thinking "That's a dynasty!" and everyone is like "what could possibly go wrong?" So... So from where I am standing the Philipines choose willingly to place those two in charge of their country, and should accept any misery that they cause without complaint. But, being an outsider looking in from Europe there must be something I am not seeing. Millions and millions of Filipinos have voted for them, confident that they are going to lead the nation into a better future. What do they know that I don't? Please my Filipino friends, help me understand! Thank you for reading this! Stay safe, and stay happy!
Liberation day 2022! I had agreed with myself I wouldn't do this anymore, but here we are moving along so smoothly we are already at the end of the first sentence. About an hour ago, or two, I got the usual "signal" from my brain that tells me that it's time to go to sleep. It does so in a "Sleep or I'll decide where you're gonna wake up!" kind of way. But, wouldn't you know it, my brain chose the moment i had just started a new game in Galactic Civ IV. So we entered into negotiations, and after a tough negotiation agreed that I'd play the new game for at most an hour or so. I've closed down the game about 10 minutes ago, and we're now 6 hours after that one hour I'd agreed upon. My ass is so sore from sitting all the time it's like I've laid in the sun too long with only my buttocks exposed to the sun... Hmm, maybe I should've considered this before typing it but i may just have given you more information than you needed.…or wanted.… https://kapot.ga And if that is the case then…I probably shouldn't tell you that I just farted and that the smell literally replaces the oxygen in your lungs… Ah well. Today we celebrated Liberation day in this country. It was 78 years (i think, I hope so or I'll feel so embarrassed when I read this sober and rested) ago that my city was one of the first in the Netherlands to be liberated. We were liberated by the 2nd Polish Tank Division, under General Maczek. https://longdogechallenge.com/ So from the Dutch to the Polish: dziękuję We're honored that we were chosen to take the responsibility to take care of your friends that gave their lives for our freedom. The Polish honor field still looks pristine, clean, maintained, and even got expanded with a memorial center and museum. Want to know more about the connection between Breda and the Polish liberators? https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pools_militair_ereveld_Breda But anyway I had a good time at the Liberty festival held here in the city and I treated myself to a wonderful bottle of 15-year-old Glenfiddich Single Malt Scotch Whisk. The reason I mention this? No reason but i am going to close it for today. Thanks for reading this Stay safe and stay happy. @AnonSunamun
The old one. Act 1 He had been alive for so long he'd forgotten more than most species would ever know in their entire existence. He couldn't even recall how old he was himself, and he didn't care either. He had been alone for as long as he could remember too, and couldn't say for sure if he'd ever not been alone. There had to have been a time when he had had company he supposed. `Hey, why don't you check out my sponsors? They're awesome and their content is fascinating!` Didn't he once have a family or at least parents? He couldn't recall, and he didn't care about that either. All he knew was that he was searching and that he had been searching for... how long had it been since he'd come across something that had interested him, anyway? He couldn't recall. Neither could he recall what it had been the last time that he had been interested in something. But there had to be something somewhere, right? So he slipped into another quantum dimensional plane and entered yet another Universe in the hope that this reality would yield something that would be interesting enough for him to capture his attention. He severely doubted it when his consciousness became aware of everything in the Universe he was in now. In many ways, it resembled so many other universes he'd been to and had found nothing to capture his attention. A bit of matter, scattered all over the place, and some bright energy linked to it to the point of them being interchangeable. Most of this universe was, like many others, mostly made up of the kind of matter and energy without substance and had only one property of itself on the same dimensional plane as the other matter and energy. It did not look promising. The bright energy and the matter were mostly distributed haphazardly throughout this universe with large areas almost empty and lumps of it scattered about. Those lumps all individually moved away from all the other lumps and he noticed they did so with an increasing velocity. That made him blink, and take a closer look. Ah, the lumps didn't increase in speed. The fabric of this reality's space was expanding at an accelerating rate. In the millionth of a second it took him to blink and look closer he'd seen that everything in this universe was moving away from a single point which made him search his memory. Had he ever encountered such an oddly behaving Universe before? He couldn't recall with any certainty. For a thousandth of a millisecond, he felt a flicker of excitement as he dared to allow himself to wonder, just for the slightest of moments, if this might be a universe that could pique his interest. Even that simple flicker of excitement he felt at the prospect of something was enough to make him giddy with joy. It had been at least... eons and eons ago when he had last felt anything like that. He decided at that moment. If something was interesting about this Universe, or in it, he was going to take great care to make the finding of it, and experience it, take as long as he could and make it last as long as he could. He knew that if the universe turned out to be uninteresting and yielded nothing worthy of his attention he'd be depressed for another eternity but it was a risk he was willing to take. He focussed himself on this one single quantum plane on which this reality existed and then physically into this one universe, and then he even phased out of most of the dimensional planes in which the majority of this Universe did not exist. He then willed himself into a form with which he could interact with the different forms of matter and energy in this Universe and only then allowed his perception to open again. His mind reeled with the experience. If nothing else that experience alone was the most interesting he'd experienced in as long as he could remember. It even took him a millionth of a second to understand what it was he was perceiving. Linear time, in some way connected to the space in this universe, expanding outward from a single point. Linear time with a direction forward and backward, and the space and time even had a beginning. A place and time beyond which both did not exist. Or at least, beyond which it had not existed, he corrected himself, deciding to immerse himself even more into experiencing the reality of this Universe. For an eon or two, which here could be measured and quantified in a way he'd not even considered until then, he simply amused himself by observing that single place and time at which the space and the time of this universe exploded into this reality's existence. In the scale of things, as he experienced it, that was quite a big bang that accompanied that event. He then decided to observe closely the chain of events that unfolded after that big expansion and marveled at the oddity that everything in this Universe was bound by linear time and not only that, everything only went in one direction in that linear time. Everything went forward through time, vastly increasing the differentiation between cause and effect. An actual strictly adhered to causality, he decided after he'd observed the first few eons of this universe's existence in its odd linear way. He then decided that he wanted to take in more of this universe in greater detail and to become an energy form very similar to that existing in this Universe and to observe the various odd ways in which the energies and matter in this universe existed. He had noticed that matter in this universe developed, linearly, into many different forms, and that those forms interacted with each other, the energy forms in this universe, and indeed with this universe's space and time in many different ways. https://kapot.ga He also noted that energy and force existing in the 6th and 9th-dimensional planes had an effect on space-time and matter in the dimensional handicapped universe He knew of course that in most universes where energy and matter existed, they influenced each other and interacted with each other there very often also existed forms of life. Lifeforms which, as far as he could remember (which, he had to admit, was less than he was comfortable admitting to), began in some form of matter, converting other matter into energy to sustain matter. Something like that he was sure. These forms of life mostly wound up as sentient energy forms and some even succeeded in achieving becoming what they had been for the past couple of billion years; non-corporeal multidimensional extra reality multidimensional neurally cohesive entities. Entities exist as pure energy, except with consciousness. But as far as he knew none of the forms of life he had ever encountered or had knowledge of existed in the constraint of linear time. At least, not that he could remember. He decided that, even if just to make this experience last as long as it could, he should investigate if life existed in this universe and if it did he'd go for the full experience and exist as one of those life forms himself for a while. A nanosecond later He knew all forms of life that existed in this realities Universe and he was, surprising not in the least to himself, astonished. Never before, as far as he could remember, had he encountered so many different kinds of life in so many different forms simultaneously existing in the same reality and universe. Life in this realities Universe ran the gambit from triple atom replication to non-corporeal lifeforms able to traverse the multi-verse and across dimensions. None were as sophisticated as he was but some, like those calling themselves and most everything else "Q", we're pretty close. And of course, almost all of them are handicapped in their existence and evolution by the constraints of this universe's linear time. It took him nearly three nano-seconds to decide which life-form he'd exist as for a while, but he did eventually, And a nano-second later he had taken the form of a life-form that called itself "Human". He had chosen a matter-based form of life, carbon-based, which was so young they'd not even spread beyond their galaxy of origin! How marvelously clueless and blissfully ignorant their minds were! He had not ever felt such joy and happiness, or at least not that he could remember! Most euphoria-inducing was when he realized he was existing and experiencing the passage of linear time. He could not tell what was to come and could do nothing to affect anything that had become the past. What had happened in the past affected the moment he existed in, and what happened at the moment he existed would affect what would be in what was to come! What an unimaginable way of existing these lifeforms had! Their entire existence was dominated and shaped by the linear passage of time and the order of cause and effect, which they called "causality". Even communication was shaped by the linear passage of time. One could only communicate with others that existed in the now, and much of the communication proceeded in a back and forth manner. One life form communicated something and then another one communicated in return, its communication was based on what the first one had communicated before. To Be Continued! Please let me know if you like me to continue this story! Thank you for reading this. Stay safe and stay happy. @AnonSunamun

Don't read if you're sensitive, woke and/or a snowflake. You'll get mad if you do. `This time i'll draw your attention to these awesome sponsors of mine. Their content will less likely offend you or make you angry.` It's another Sunday... Dammnit! And here we are again. Sitting behind the keyboard, staring at a black screen with a blinking green cursor. (yeah, I like it old-school, just like the days of the 8086 processors and the first IBM-compatible PCs. The only difference between my screen when I write and those screens back then is that I can't read the last lines I've typed when I close my eyes, an hour after I've shut down the computer. But here I am again and as I've often found the last couple of weeks I don't really know what I am going to write about. There are a couple of things that are still waiting for their next episodes but somehow I don't feel the vibe I need for those. In fact, I'm feeling quite different from how I normally feel when I sit down to write. So what gives? Good question. To be completely honest I couldn't tell you with certainty. My best guess is that due to circumstances my Son couldn't be here this weekend, and he won't be here next weekend either, which means I probably won't see him for 3 weeks straight. Just typing that out feels like reaching inside me and ripping out all the joy in one vicious yank. It's not that I don't feel like writing. Far from it, I welcome the distraction, keeping my mind from revisiting the dark places in my mind. I've taken you there once and judging by the stats you liked it even less than I did. Even Rusty was like "Ah Hell No! I ain't even looking at that shit" so that makes it universally unanimous: The dark places in my mind should stay just that: Dark, unseen, ignored, and denied. So…let me fix the atmosphere here. Let's do something different this time. Not in a music listening kind of mood so let us get a funny person to make jokes on stage, record it on video and watch that! Queue Liz Miele. https://youtu.be/GvaDjXlrvVU https://youtu.be/GvaDjXlrvVU *This show is the first I've ever seen from her* At first, I didn't think I'd like her comedy very much but fifteen minutes in I found I enjoyed the show. Not like I was rolling on the floor with aching muscles from laughing too hard. But I was smiling and had the occasional muahahaha…moments. She is a comedian you could put up when having visitors just below the general volume in the room for the "off" moments and guests. Those not interested in conversation can listen to her, and at those awkward moments of silence, she'll fill the silence with jokes. She'll never be one of the great comedians though, and she doesn't seem like the time to have that ambition. It's not like she's a Christopher Titus or Jim Jeffries. Those are two icons of comedy right now, both very different but misperceived by many as being the same thing. Those seldom turn out to be fans of either though. Those who don't like their comedy though usually describe them as offensive, racist, misogynistic, right-wing, and so on and on and on. People that have the opinion that there are things you cannot joke about and that take offense in the name of a group of people they're not even part of. They dismiss the shows of Titus and Jeffries as being nothing more but finding the most offensive thing to say and spinning a joke around it. As with much of what people like that think, they are utterly wrong about everything they feel so strongly about. First of all, even though I feel it shouldn't have to be said out loud (our typed out loud) as it is a universal truth but these days …sigh... NOTHING EXISTS THAT CAN NOT BE JOKED ABOUT! (duh.....) Second of all the styles and subjects and everything about their shows are completely different from one another. Christopher Titus's shows are more thematic than Jeffries' are and often have one or two threads in them that keep returning throughout the show, in other jokes. He often also likes to, surreptitiously almost, confront the audience with something about themselves that would give cause for somber self-contemplation if it wasn't so hidden in between punch lines and followed by a new thread by Titus. Arm the Children. https://youtu.be/N47eRYZ23qs The best example is the show in which he talks about kids in schools and the shootings, and the crime and presents a solution opposed to a proposal or statement once made by a government official that called for arming the teachers in schools. After reminding everyone of their own behavior in school towards a teacher and letting that trail off he suggests "Arm the children" and turns it into a campaign slogan chant. He then starts explaining why arming the children would work to solve problems like pedophiles, abusive parents, neglect, and some other things. After each point of explanation, he calls on the crowd to finish his sentence for him and says: "And all we had to do was....?" after which the public goes "ARM THE CHILDREN" This was then turned on its head when Titus reveals the real danger is a group mindset just accepting this clearly bad idea as a good one. He does it by letting the public chant "ARM THE CHILDREN" one more time before having a second of silence and then asking: "Do you see how Hitler got started?" and then into the awkward silence says "You were just yelling to arm the children" after which an awkward laugh descends as the crowd realizes what just happened. But before that awkwardness can settle in Titus moves on after saying "That was a social experiment and you failed miserably" Genius! He even went so far as to make a song out of it! https://youtu.be/N47eRYZ23qs The best show though is the one he described like this: For those who have children, this show is 90 minutes of therapy. For those who do not have children, this show is 90 minutes of birth control" (Born with a defect) https://youtu.be/HhQb3BX4Rik Jim Jeffries ain't no Christopher Titus Jim Jeffries is a whole different kind of show altogether. Whether it is because he used to be wasted during his shows in the early days or if it's because he always sounds like that I don't know but I always have the feeling I'm listening to an average Aussie fellow late Saturday night on his way home after a good night out. To me, he always sounds like he had more than a few beers too many. But don't let that fool you, the man knows every word he will say on stage, when he will say it and how he will say it before he even walks onto the stage. And a lot of what he says is when taken seriously and out of context really will make snowflakes run screaming and pulling their hair out towards their nearest "safe place". But if you listen to what he says and accept he is joking, you know, which is kind of his job, will not get the most laughter out of their money but also find themselves thinking "technically, you know, I gotta say…he's got a point." One of the funniest stories (a lot of his shows are him telling a story) is when he helped his buddy's brother, who suffers from muscular dystrophy, go to a prostitute. Yeah, I know, when I read that back it sounds horrible. But trust me, it's hilarious, heartwarming, and beautiful. https://youtu.be/N47eRYZ23qs https://youtu.be/N47eRYZ23qs Both of these comedians are mistaken for bigots, a$$h0l3s, and everything snowflakes are told to fear. But they're not. This is just the time we live in I guess. A perfect example of this phenomenon is, to me, Bill Burr. Bill Burr He has been made out to be a racist, besides the usuals like misogynist and bigot and so on, but then get awfully quiet when you remind them that, in fact, Bill Burr is married to a Black woman (from Harlem). It is symptomatic of the ridiculously far left our society is swinging through this curb of civilization I'm afraid. What you meant to say, how you said it, and in what context do not matter anymore. It's like government surveillance. It gets triggered by words or phrases and as soon as they're detected, the woke army marches to destroy whoever uttered the trigger phrase. Ah anyway, I feel like I'm still in the prelude phase of the article like I have yet to begin. But looking at the number of words I'm surprised to find that if I don't end it here, people will think it's too long and won't even read it at all... *reads back the article* ****shakes head in disappointment**** And who knows, maybe they'd be the ones better off? Feels like I've done a whole lot of talking and a whole lot of saying nothing... `*SHOCKING EPIPHANY! I'M GOING INTO POLITICS! THEY DO THE SAME FOR A LIVING!!!!!*` LOL Nah I'm just keeping it light for a Sunday night. Thanks for reading this! Stay Safe and Stay Happy. (SSSH) @AnonSunamun

To my overwhelming relief and joy i saw the three sponsors I thought had left me re-up their sponsorships!! You guys are awesome, thank you so much!!!!!
I just noticed i've lost 3 sponsors. Even though this makes me sad I do want to thank them for the time they've been my sponsor. Hope you do well!
The world ends on ****the voice of Ewan McGregor**** ***"Hello There"*** I know, childish... But even though there's 20% of you that actually heard obi-wan Kenobi say "Hello there" which makes me smile way more than it should. `Want good content? Then check out these awesome sponsors!` Back again? Wait, was I away? It's been a while since I've published an article here. Let me assure you that is unintended. The Universe happened and well, there are only 24 hours in each day. (Can we slow the spin down a bit, just a little, to get 30 hours a day?) Don't insult me by answering that please. ;-) *But, anywho,* *who?* *Ani!* (wow, that Star Wars reference keeps popping up from time to time...) There have been a few things, however, for a couple of days, I somehow don't wanna talk.…type…about. Those things would be among others not necessarily in that order: The weather Refugees Family And while the first two are obvious I think I should expand a little on that last one. You see our family when you go back far enough and then follow the other branches, is rather large in numbers. If I start from the farthest back I could get the branch has at least 200 members at this point. I and my Son are a proud branch of our family, the last sapling branch going down from my great-great-great-great-grandfather through my dad, me, and ends (for now) with my son. The number of family members we are in contact with, this little 2-person branch, is 0. The number is ZERO Now the active close family has never been that numerous. The reason for that isn't really important I guess but the largest gathering of a family I can remember can't have been more than 50. And that was a long time ago when I was like 11! So for the largest part of my life, the word family came to mean: My grandma, grandpa, my mother, my 2 aunts, my two uncles, my niece, and my nephew. Those were the ones who, according to the definitions I was taught, were a real family and behaved that way. Always together at birthdays, sometimes during the holidays and later on we sometimes went on holiday together with our caravans in tow. How? With literally more than 200 known family members (genealogy)? Where the problem began I have no idea, I can remember visiting some of the "other" <familyname> members when I was between 10 and 16. I guess that comfortable little group crumbled down somehow. An aunt got divorced, another aunt did the same, someone got married to someone the rest of the group didn't like all that much, someone else got himself into drugs and gabberhouse and was as good as shunned….. *Wonder who that last numbnuts was??* So, by 2020 the group actually in contact with each other was My two aunts, me and my son, my mother and one uncle. Of those, there were 4, my grandma, my mother, me, and my son that lived in the country for more than 5 months a year. Then my mother died. Half a year later my Grandma died. Since the spreading of the ashes of my Grandma, neither I nor my son has heard anything from anyone even remotely related to us. Nothing. Not on birthdays, not on holidays, or even a pm on Fb or any other media. So there.... that's why! So that's why I don't want to talk…type…about family… w8… *reads article above*…heh…guess I already didn't I. So disregard everything above here! I have not written it, because I don't want to!! *sticks out tongue* So what am I going to write about? Well, that is a good question. Let's see…I am going to check my browser tabs for a second. Maybe there's something in there to type about. One tab is an article telling us that Ukraine has received fixed-wing fighters planes and loads of spare parts, and can now deploy more fighters than it did 2 weeks ago: https://www.france24.com/en/live-news/20220420-ukraine-receives-fighter-planes-parts-to-bolster-air-force-pentagon Another tab is the search result that resulted from the above-mentioned tab: https://duckduckgo.com/?q=ukraine+received+fighters&iax=videos&ia=videos Then there is https://read.cash/ of course. And lastly, there is the https://start.me tab with my custom Startpage. So not much help there I guess unless you think the subject of the first two tabs deserves to be addressed? Really? Well, that is kind of time right? Those fighters came from Poland or the Chech republic, I suspect, and their delivery (ie. being in Ukrainian hands) tells us something very interesting. What does it tell us? Well, can you remember that the US has blocked that transfer of fighter craft to Ukraine from NATO members because that was crossing the line and might lead Putin to escalate to nuclear war? Biden (and other NATO members) have repeatedly said that fighters to Ukraine weren't going to happen. It happened. So nothing the US now or previously ruled out is ruled out anymore. Including actual direct military action against Russian(allied) forces. It was an untenable position for NATO anyway, giving artillery, anti-tank weapon systems, technology, and ammunition to Ukraine but still saying we had no direct involvement in the conflict. So it's another level in the aggressive stance of the west, and one more motivator for Putin, or "VladVlad" as we call him, to keep fighting until he gets what he said he wanted to get. In fact with the way the war in Ukraine is going for them SovNjets until now and the unlikelihood of Putin getting the Donbask under his control quickly, NATO crossing its red lines and delivering fighter planes to Ukraine could be the perfect opportunity to save face, shed some of the bad-guy karma off onto NATO and perhaps even gain some more respect and co-operation from their Chinese neighbors. So considering that... `*Making calculations inside my head*` I predict Global Thermo-Nuclear World War to start on *****December 22nd, 2022 at 03:22 PM CST,***** *(the timezone in which Olathe, Kanas USA is located.)* Beyond any reasonable doubt. I could tell you the seconds by I don't think that it will matter very much an hour later. But there it is, the end of the world as we know it. And just trust me on this one, I am right about this! Which is exactly what the others who came before me thought of their own predictions. Every single person in the history of mankind that has ever uttered a prediction for the end of the world thought they were right and they were the last prophets of mankind. Let's check this out, just for the fun of it. Let's do some numbers on it and see what we can come up with to check if there was any value in any of the predictions. WAIT A SECOND!!! Let us see how many of them were right: 0 How many were a little bit right, say within a week of their predicted moment: 0 How many of the predictions were wrong, and very stupid words from stupid people? 100% So what do you think? Will I finally take that 100 off the board and make 99.999%? Thanks for reading this stay safe and stay happy! @AnonSunamun

Nooit Opgeven Altijd Doorzetten Aangenaam Door Vermaak En Nuttig Door Ontspanning Combinatie I want to thank @Mofif for writing THIS article which inspired me to write this one. https://read.cash/@Mofif/the-feeling-only-football-can-give-79dcd191 `And while I'm at it, I might as well remind you of my awesome sponsors. They're worth your attention!` The title for today's article is the full name of the Football club of my city and my heart, NAC Breda. It has held the record for the longest club name for a long time until some club in Korea came up with something. The translation of the name is: Never give up, Always persevere, pleasant through entertainment and Usefull through relaxation combination. The beginning. It was in 1912 when two local small football clubs, forced by low membership and revenues, decided to join together to form one club to represent the city of Breda. NOAD (founded 14 july 1895) and ADVENDO (founded 1 november 1904) combined to form N.A.C. on 19 september 1912. reinactment: https://youtu.be/iTnG6lCDYjY The first match was played on 3 november 1912 against E.M.M. from Vlissingen. The club with cool guys N.A.C. became something more than just the local football club that had to bow to the rival clubs with big sponsors in the province Noord-Brabant. It is unclear when exactly it happened and there is debate on the why it happened but NAC (we never use the dots) became the spirit and personality of the city Breda taken shape. Breda has always been a city with its own spirit and never satisfied with being a silent follower. One of the oldest cities in the Netherlands (1st mentioned in the early 800's and oldest surviving document confirming city rights from the early 1200's) and with close ties to what later became the royal family, the Nassau family, Breda has always played a bigger role, in every topic and level, than anyone would expect it to. The Bredanaars (a citizen of Breda) are proud of their spirit, their role in the history of our nation (Willem van Oranje, our father of the fatherland, was from Breda) and our ties with the royal family. Breda's anthem reflects that Breda spirit in its lyrics: Te midden van de paarse heide, Waar samenstroomen Mark en Aa, Daar ligt geroemd door alle tijden Onz' eigen stad, ons fier Breda. Breda vooruit! Breda vooruit! De klokken luiden. Breda, gij blijft d'Oranjestad van 't Zuiden In the middle of the purple heather, Where do Mark and Aa merge, There lies praised by all times Onz' own city, our proud Breda. Breda ahead! The bells are ringing. Breda, you remain the cleanest city in the South! So long around the slender tower The real Breda blood is still beating, Never loses its own nature Who is and must remain jolly. Breda ahead! The bells are ringing. Breda, you remain the pearl of the South. From our old ramparts developed our father's struggle, By courage, policy and loyalty to all, To Dutch independence. Breda ahead! The bells are ringing. Breda, you remain the Mauritsstad of the South. We cheer, true to history, Bound to the Nassau tribe, Now about old Orange glory A new ray of sunshine came. Breda ahead! The bells are ringing. Breda, thou remains the orange city of the South. Breda is one of the few cities that has its own anthem, which in itself sais something about it's spirit. In our club song, our club anthem, there are the lines: Zoveel jaren lang al is ons N.A.C. de Parel van het Zuiden NAC spreekt ieder jaar opnieuw een woordje mee, lang leve N.A.C. (...) De club van toffe jongens is de trots van heel Breda En Brabantse supporters leven mee! which the translator turns into: For so many years, our N.A.C. has been the Pearl of the South. NAC speaks a word every year, long live N.A.C. (...) The club of great boys is the pride of the whole of Breda And Brabant supporters sympathize! It refers to the role NAC has always played on the national football stage. We're never expected to be champions, never expected to win the cup, but our adversaries are always apprehensive when playing us, because we almost always have a role in the league's unfolding. Avondje NAC. (little evening NAC) Any football supporter in the Netherlands knows this phenomenon, and it's a trademarked expression. It refers to the tradition of playing our home matches in the evening, preferably on Saturday, but on Friday if circumstances demand it. Other teams mostly have the preference of playing on afternoons usually. For us it's traditional to play in the evening, as an unofficial start signal for the weekend's night out on the town. A quote from someone once said "Don't let NAC play in the afternoon, half of the supporters and the team will have a hangover." which we like to think is insightful and wise. ;-) But the main meaning of an avondje NAC is that the fans on an evening NAC are so passionate, loud , proud and loyal to the club and our team that any opponent playing us in our home venue rightfully feel intimidated a little. The term "The 12th player" is in that sense an accurate description. Notable hisory Ofcourse here our most memorable event with which I will start this part of the article is our EUFA CUP match against the Magpies, Newcastle United. It was the first time in 30 years we had qualified for international football, and we were proud of it. Even though only 2000 tickets were available its estimated around 6000 NAC fans (called the rats by other club's fans) made the journey across the pond to the UK and settled in Newcastle Upon Tyne to celebrate NAC's Euro-adventure. At first the local authorities, the constabulary, the Ferry operators and the Newcastle upon tyne's people were concerned and apprehensive about so many NAC fans converging on the Magpies home town. The year before the visiting Feyenoord fans had misbehaved (understatement) and didn't do the reputation of Dutch football fans any favors. Those concerns didn't last long though and both those with tickets, and those without tickets gathered in local pubs and squares, behaved brilliantly. Newcastle was colored yellow for that day with even the town's fountains spouting yellow water. Before the end of the first half of the match all the beer in the city and surrounding counties had run out, not a drop left anywhere. In the stadium the 2000 Rats managed to earn the respect, and applause, from the Magpies by regularly singing louder than the home fans and singing "Always look on the bright side of life" from the moment NAC was behind 5-0. The only footage I could find of that match: https://youtu.be/fVCtFyxpBJI But our history isn't just one match ofcourse. We won the National championship in 1921. We played the cupfinal 4 times and won it in 1973. Our most famous club icon was Antoon "de rat" Verlegh who played for NAC a long time as well as with our national team. HERE is a Memorial page for the man (in Dutch). There are some buildings and a street as well as some organisations named after him, most notably our home stadium "Rat Verlegh Stadion". https://derat.nl/fanzine/rat-verlegh/ Another notable history tidbit is that near the end of the last match played in our old stadium we nearly burned it down. NAC in the community In our city almost everyone has "something" with NAC. Even those not interested in football at all will, when in conversation NAC is mentioned, ask "What did NAC do last Saturday?" with genuine interest. NAC "lives" among the people here. The connection of the people with the club is evident by the 3 times that the club's future was saved by public funding raised through "Red NAC" events and campaigns without the help of municipal government. The shareholders of the club are all local people who also have played a role in the continued existence of the club. If that is not enough than the number of season tickets sold every year, despite being in the 1st Division (where the Honor Division is the highest league of our nation) for the past 2 seasons, is capped at 14000. NAC could sell all 19.900 seats as season tickets but the club wants to save tickets for loose sale at the ticketoffice for those who want to visit one match or just a couple. But it could sell 19.900 season tickets if it wanted to. Almost every match we have a sold out stadium. There are honor division clubs that have trouble filling half their stadiums! Beer One thing we rats are known for with the other football clubs (and we're covertly proud of) is our beer consumption. We outdrink every and all the other clubs in both leagues in total litres (so not adjusted for attendance!) and have done so for over a decade! So that means that 19.900 rats drink more litres of beer than, for example, Ajax (who's nickname is considered a bit facist by wokeholes: "the jews") with a capacity of 55.600 or Feyenoord (the cockroaches) with a capacity of 47.500 seats. The essence of NAC As its way past the time I absolutely had to go to sleep I'm going to wrap this article up much sooner than i'd planned to and certainly without doing NAC and its fans enough justice. I'm going to end this by summing up the essence, the core, of the club and its fans, which are an inextricable part of one another. NAC is a provincial club of a smaller but old and culture rich city, which never had the means (sponsor) to have ambitions of consistently fighting for the championship every season but nevertheless is a force to be reckoned with for any opponent. Its known for its fans who are loyal and devoted to their club and never stop singing, cheering, shouting and drinking their team forward. "Avondje NAC" an evening NAC, is known throughout the Netherlands and visiting teams are always a little anxious when playing against NAC on their home turf. The most important and most admirable is the love, passion and dedication of the NAC fans, the NAC rats. The singing and shouting never stops until the referee blows the whistle for the end of the match, after which the fans all go and overwhelm the cafe's in their beautiful city, as one of their chants says. originally it began as a (bad) song by a local singer/songwriter/comedian Guido Weyers: https://youtu.be/5SH9w0W8Qjo And it sounds like this coming from the stands: https://youtu.be/UWN7HsEoTbo?t=8 For those who like to see and hear more from/about us, I've included some more memorable video's. The world shall not perish as long as the love continues to exist, the love for our own proud Breda... https://youtu.be/CfekSx40eGw?t=60 Celebrating Promotion in front of city hall at the great square: https://youtu.be/P36t3qh9bcY (the buildings, all monuments, as well as the cathedral (from 1242) moved by at least 1,2 centimeters during this. It was the last time the celebrations would be held in that location. This Left left left and so on, inspired by a song from the Snollebollekes, was soon copied all over the world. First in Breda: https://youtu.be/MGBS8S6Lygc Then in Austria at the Formula 1 race: https://youtu.be/XPLl5ew4pPo Then a hardstyle event took it: https://youtu.be/SYHzJXQmi5A then it got copied all over the world: https://youtu.be/M6wlbFo9cgE Paris: https://youtu.be/Sda9lOPCKiI https://youtu.be/6qQn-mWYXYc But eventually the record was brought back to the Netherlands (an actual earthquake was registered of 1+ on the richer scale!): https://youtu.be/5UcjT3-zVnY?t=50 https://youtu.be/dncVUXs_OP8?t=48 That last one has instructions if anyone needs it.. :P But rember this: IT ALL STARTED WITH NAC IN BREDA! I want to give you so much more but i'm out of time friends. But i'll be back... expect me! Anyway thanks for reading this! Stay safe and stay happy! @AnonSunamun
Achievements, Legacy. achievements. There are moments in my life in which I get hit with…I don't know how to call it… melancholy? Moments in which I, apparently teetering on the edge of depression, look back on my life and try to figure out what I have achieved in that life. `My sponsors have much better content than I have. Give them a look!` Al through my life I have had moments like this for as long as I can remember and I've noticed that throughout my life the answer has… let's say strengthened. The answer to the question I give today is actually diametrically opposed to the answer I gave 40 years ago. When I was a kid and I asked myself that question, I still was blissfully ignorant of the world and life. My answers reflect that. "I hold the world record in creating an animated ball comprising over 400 polygons." Was the first answer that I can remember. Another answer I can remember being rather proud of i once was co record holder for 'most legs finished in 24 hours of 501 darts.'. I only found out two years later, after purchasing a Guinness book of records, that two days later the record was surpassed by two Chinese (!) guys. After that, my answers kind of shifted. I began deflecting the answer. "I may not have achieved much, but I am gonna..." and I would list my ambitions. If there are those of you out there that regularly read my stuff, you'll be scratching your heads at this point. Yeah.... No. Yes, you're right. I've never been ambitious. Certainly not once my career got its momentum. I was happy where I was doing what I was doing. But I deferred my question to the future. "I am gonna..." and so on, convinced there would be more than enough time to get down and achieve something. You see even though I wasn't ever really ambitious, i did always have a feeling that i was going to achieve something lasting. Something to be proud of, something that would outlast me through the ages. And partially i can justify feeling that way. Ever since I was old enough to seriously contemplate the future, I was in the fortuitous circumstance that no matter what I did, or didn't do, my life improved. No matter what I did my position in life, be it in education or work, improved. This was the red thread throughout my life for a long time, and it was clear to me at the time that if the trend would continue, I'd be in a leading position in the industry before I was 50. And that's where the possibilities to achieve great things are plentiful. O.G. moment! Again, if there are any who follow my writings here on read.cash, they will know how that worked out for me. It didn't (for those who don't follow me). When the crisis hit the shipbuilding company, I just started working at I got fired. At the same time, I was left by my wife and struggled with my son's care. And it all became a downward spiral from then on. It spiraled to being a lonely white ugly fat dude with debt coming out of his ears and a future prospect of maybe being out of his debt by the time he dies. I noticed that the answer to the question spiraled down with the spiraling down of my life. It always remained achievements yet to be achieved. So what is the answer today to the question what have i achieved, what is my legacy? Let me be perfectly honest with you. The only achievement that will last longer than i will is my son. Everything else about my life, all that i did, created, destroyed, learned and thought, it won't last after i'm gone. Heck most of it didn't even make it to this point let alone after my death. That brings up another question though, and it's a kind of an important issue if you look at it. Is it right for me to lob off the responsibility of achieving something lasting for my son? Does it place unfair pressure on him when i name him the best, not the only, achievement in my life? Hell no! Of course not. No matter how much my inner self is protesting the notion, it is of course not fair to expect him to achieve something great enough to justify my calling my son the greatest achievement of my life. But if I don't then where does that leave me? And, maybe even more poignant what kind of animal am i to be worrying about this when war crimes are taking place AT THE MOMENT I AM WRITING THIS? Even as I am writing this, I am looking at the reports from the satellite feeds about the atrocities perpetrated by the Russian forces on the Ukrainian people. Should I be thinking about my tiny, insignificant life when such horrors are going on? Of course not but the truth of the matter is that if we cannot hear the shots and explosions ourselves and know that they will not like be going off near to us we don't consider it a pressing urgent matter that we should place on the top of our to-do lists. It's just the way we work. Is that right? No, it isn't. Is it a fact? Yes, very much so. You know, maybe I should just end this article here. I am not in a mood to straighten out this crookedness. Thank you for reading this. Stay safe, and stay happy!
When I started this article I didn't know what it would be about! Now it is finished, I still don't. For a moment, just now, I had the dumbest notion I have had in a long while. I was about to make the final conclusion, in one sentence, the opening line for this article. Whatever I did that for though, it had the effect I was hoping for and jumpstarted my writer's blocked writing engine into writing again. One sentence is usually all it takes, no matter what that sentence is. Sock it to the writer's block! Or at least that is how it works for me. I haven't got a clue if others experience it the same way I do. Today, though, it is a lifesaver to get past the block. There's a star wars fanfiction story I suddenly seem to have a deadline on. `Hey, don't miss out on awesome content! Check out these sponsors, you'll regret it if you don't!` Awesome opportunity! Which, don't get me wrong, is actually a good thing. I've been approached by a rather well-known and read Star Wars news outlet I shall call them, as they prefer the greater world does not know they sometimes reach out to independent writers for content. Life-Goal. For me, it's one step closer to my goal as a writer, at least as a fiction writer, which is to have my name in either the opening or end credits of a canon publication for either Star Wars or Star Trek. And I am not even picky. If those credits say: `Guy who scratched his balls - Anonsunamun` I would feel my life to be complete. Of course "written by" would be something to be much more proud of but I'll take anything at this point. More than one goal! It's not the only goal I have in life, of course, though I've never had many. Another one is to do Route 66 in a Winnebago. Preferably with my Son or an outstanding woman (or both). That would be so exceptional. It would also take me as long as it takes other people to get fed up with traveling around the world. One other life goal that's worth mentioning is the one I've held longest. It's probably because it is also the vaguest of all of them. I want to be remembered. Yeah, I know right? Stupid as sock but no less true. I've always been a history lover, and it has always fascinated me how some people are still being talked about thousands of years after they died. Enmebaragesi was king almost 6000 years ago, but his name is still known, and his deeds are learned by historians in Sumerian, Akkadian, and Babylonian history. He is known for making the land of Elam submit, but also because he's the first King on the Sumerian King List for which evidence from other sources exists. Or Khnum-aa whose children, two half brothers, became the best-known human remains among Egyptologists. Their names were Khnum-nakht and Nakht-ankh and they lived around 1800BC. I often wonder if my name or one of my nicknames will ever be mentioned by anyone 1000 years from now. Looking at my life, the answer is invariably a resounding NO. My life philosophy, or my life's outlook… I don't know how to put it correctly, just wasn't compatible with building up a legacy or fame. In fact, my view on life directly opposes the notion. In my core of core convictions, the life we get to have is the only one we get. That means our lives are too precious to waste on worrying and working and living to accomplish something that we'll not live to experience. That energy is better used to make this life, right here, right now, joy and pleasure to live. Lived like this since I was 16 years old. I firmly believe that in our lives, we should have one overriding purpose in all we do, which is to enjoy ourselves and feel as much pleasure and happiness as we can. It's one reason I think it is important that the job you do to make a living is also something you like to do. I've had 30 years of career but you better believe that I was happy and enjoyed almost every second of my job. That's why I had no problem with 80 or 90 or more hours a week. But the last past years... Over the past three years, I've doubted that philosophy more and more, as the lockdowns and other Corona shit condemned us, or at least me, to loneliness. It felt like something was building up to a crescendo of misery to crown the mountains of misery that were poured out over my life over 18 years. Enlightenment re-achieved! But last Saturday I could finally go to a big Hardcore event again, and to celebrate my birthday dancing all night to the most outstanding beats and sounds that exist, pumping out of speakers that totaled over 200.000 watts of power. There were some bass kicks that I felt, not just in my stomach and on my skin, but that made my bone marrow vibrate! Ah man, I wish there were words powerful enough to describe how much joy I felt, how happy I was, what a pleasure that night has given me. But there aren't. The lights came on, the music stopped. The point, though, is that by Sunday morning when the music stopped and the lights came on, I knew that I'd been right all along. And with that knowledge, known to be fact now, I know that even though I might not leave much of a legacy other than my son, I know I've enjoyed life more than most that have walked this planet, and I'm proud of that. I'm satisfied if that turns out to be the best my life has achieved. The best advice for achieving greatness and fame. But all of what I wrote above here wasn't actually the thing I wanted to write about. What I wanted to write about was...well...I wanted to give advice to the youngens of today. The ones who are still in the relatively early part of their lives. Because these days the pressure to "become somebody" or to "Achieve great things" is greater than ever. So will the disapproval and judgment if one doesn't be equally greater than ever? R.L.O.O.L.R.P.G. anyone? Fortunately, I can give you the exploit for the Real Life On and Off-Line Role Playing Game we call our lives, which almost guarantees you'll live to become somebody and achieve great things. You need to have ambition. You need to set goals and do everything, always, to achieve those goals. Your ambition should make you enjoy what it takes to achieve it. I wasn't ambitious at all, enjoying my life as it was for years. I didn't need more money or more possessions. I was happy. Well, we all know how that ended. So final thought? *Ambition, if you haven't got any, get it or you are doomed to mediocrity at best.* https://kapot.ga Thank you for reading this. Stay safe and stay happy! @AnonSunamun
“Pepehi kanaka o ka honua” Done His first instinctive reaction was an unimaginable wave of relief washed over him, which almost buckled his knees. Then, as his brain caught up with the scope and gravity of what had just been done, he thought his head would explode. Finally, his mind realized that there was one thing left for him to do and that he was the one who would have to do it. He would have to tell everyone what had been done, and what the consequences would be. `Tip: Checkout these cool sponsors! It's a free tip from me to you!` Lonely The emptiness of the facility he was in, alone, pressed down on him, on his emotions, nearly incapacitating him. He regretted his loneliness, but it was pointless to ask others to sacrifice their time. What he had to do, what was to be done, could be done by one, and only one. And that one was him. It was part of the job he was elected to do, and he would do it. *To the best of his abilities.* His gut clenched into a knot while his chest felt like it contorted so much he couldn’t breathe in. His mind felt like it was disconnected from his brain, replacing the continuous torrent of thoughts that had been going on for the past five days with a deafening silent white noise. And it was all because of those three words he had just spoken. The command he had given the AI-Interface and the Quantum Supercomputer it controlled. “Initiate Final Sequence” he had ordered. Emotionless “Initiation Sequence completed successfully. Algorithm sequence in progress. Completion predicted at maximum effect location. Probability of imparting projected 8 degrees course deflection 92%.” the cold computer-synthesized voice droned emotionless. Speaking from the culmination of all the knowledge, technology, and science that humanity had brought forth. Yet still incapable of making that voice a less lifeless one. He shook his head as he scowled at his mind’s incredible lack of focus. Here he was thinking about the lifelessness of a computer voice, while he had just… While they would all…. His mind threatened to be overwhelmed and shut down, as realization set in more and more. But no, he couldn’t allow that! The words of the AI had meaning, and… they gave him one last task. They meant that the deed was done. It was finished. There was no more point in discussions, debate, doubt, or anything else that they had all been through the past five weeks. The decision had been made. the command is given. The AI-controlled systems had carried out their instructions. Even if they would suddenly come to a unanimous agreement deciding against the whole thing it would be too late. Nothing could stop it now. The only thing left to do was let *everyone* know, and then... then what? Nothing...... wait until it was over. He looked at the huge digital clock that hung above the wall of displays and noted that the computer had conveniently set it to a count down. 2 hours, 12 minutes and 32 seconds, 31 seconds, 30 seconds… He turned his gaze away from the countdown, took a deep breath to compose himself, and then forced his left foot to take a step towards the exit. The second step took only a little bit less effort, as did the third. But by the 10th step, he was walking at a steady pace. He was, again, able to disconnect his expression as well as his movements from his emotions and thoughts which was the only way he would be able to face anyone to reveal what they had done, let alone stand before all of humanity and explain to them that more than 90% of them were essentially already dead. The doors opened as he approached and he walked through the doorway into the conference room beyond them, crossed the creepily silent and empty hall filled with empty chairs, and took position behind the small dais. A few more deep breaths did little to calm the inside of his mind but it would just have to be enough to get him through this one final difficult task that came with the job he had accepted almost seven years before. He could still hear himself solemnly say the words that formed the oath that so many before him had taken when they had started the job. “to the best of my abilities” echoed the last words of that oath in the back of his mind. He had been one of the first to omit an appeal to a deity for help. Would it have made a difference? He doubted it. He nodded as he silently came to the conclusion that he could face the world knowing that he had not broken that oath. He had done everything he could have done and he had done it to the best of his abilities. He would complete his work, carry out this last responsibility, in the same way. To the best of his abilities. He pressed the button on the dais before him, squinting against the glare of the light that exploded from the lamps in front of him. A couple of seconds later one red light blinked into existence telling him that, for better or for worse, he was now transmitted, in a global broadcast, out into the world to an audience of over 16 billion people around the globe. He was glad he had the foresight earlier to write down the things he had to say. His brain was working so slow he was relieved he could even read the text and transport the words to his mouth! The last speech *“My fellow humans. I am President Jan de Boer, President of the United Nations of Earth. This transmission is being broadcast using all known means and methods and will reach almost 98% of the Earth’s population. In a few hours, the broadcast will also reach our colony on Mars. The means to achieve this all-encompassing transmission has been developed over the past decade as the Global Emergency Information Delivery System. One article of the United Nations of Earth charter that united our planet’s nations into one stated Earth’s resources, science, and technology should be put to creating a means of transmitting information to everywhere and everyone on our planet in a way that everyone everywhere could receive, with no expensive or complicated equipment or knowledge.”* *“We succeeded in that task. It saddens me to my soul to know that I will not only be the first to use it, but I shall also be the last. The information that I am to impart to you gives me even more sorrow still. For it is my awful but solemn duty to inform you we are all members of the last generation of the human species to exist on this planet. In just under two hours from now, the energy in all the nuclear and antimatter weapons in humanity's arsenal shall reach a single point not far outside our planet’s atmosphere and detonate."* *"The deployment of the delivery systems farthest away from this point has already occurred, coordinated according to a complex algorithm calculated and executed by the G.A.W.C (Google Amazon Walmart Cooperative) Quantum Supercomputer. The purpose of concentrating and unleashing all that energy at that one location is to slow down, destroy or, in any other way, prevent the recently discovered planetary object from colliding with our planet, our moon, and annihilating all three on impact.”* *“The GAWC Quantum Supercomputer has calculated that, if unaffected, the energy and matter such an event would create would, because of the direction of our planet in its orbit, combined with the direction from which the planetary object intercepts it, be sent onto a path that would cross the orbit of the planet Mars. The amount of energy and matter that would be unleashed upon Mars would, with no scientifically reasonable doubt, cause the surface of the planet to liquefy to a depth of over 90 kilometers.”* *“In short, if unaffected, X, Earth, Luna, and Mars would be extinguished. The detonation of our arsenal cannot prevent our planet, and our moon, from being annihilated. Nothing shall survive the event. The energy unleashed will, however, with a probability of 92%, affect the energy and matter resulting from the annihilation to travel just enough for it not to intersect the orbit of the planet Mars. .”* *“The cruel reality is that, though we shall all die from the energy unleashed by our own arsenal of weapons, our brothers and sisters on Mars will survive. The countdown is now at 1 hour, 49 minutes, and… 10 seconds. I have no words of wisdom or solace for you. I am sorry. May our Martian brothers and sisters live long and prosper and carry on the existence of humans…. Of humanity….”* For moments he tried to come up with something, anything, he could say that would be worthy of the moment. Something that, when the transmission reached the Mars colony, be recorded for history perhaps. But nothing came to mind, and so he ended the broadcast. Deflated his knees buckled and he fell to the floor. Now his last duty had been fulfilled. He had killed all life on planet Earth, saving the small pocket of life on Mars, and then he had told the world. He had done his job, and he’d done it to the best of his ability. He’d killed over 16 billion people, just to deflect a ball of rock named “Pepehi kanaka o ka honua” by the astrophysicists that had discovered it, a few degrees off its course. As he lay there he couldn’t help but laugh. Harder and louder and more manically he laughed, and could neither stop nor think of why he was laughing. He laughed and laughed until the microsecond of heat preceded the microseconds of vacuum that was followed finally by the embrace of the end of existence. THE END (A bit of fiction from me I posted on writing.com a long time ago. It was not getting read over there so I thought i'd give it a second chance over here. Tell me, it it any good? Constructive criticism invited!) https://www.writing.com/main/view_item/item_id/2233047-Pepehi-kanaka-o-ka-honua
Dutch population now officially has a majority of non-believers. Sources: Netherlands Broadcast Foundation (NOS) Article 1 and Netherlands Broadcast Foundation (NOS) Article 2 both in response to the Social and Cultural Planning Bureau article https://nos.nl/artikel/2422444-scp-voor-het-eerst-meer-niet-gelovigen-dan-gelovigen-in-nederland https://nos.nl/artikel/2422531-nederland-geen-gelovig-land-meer-wat-betekent-dat-voor-ons-wederzijds-on-begrip https://www.scp.nl/publicaties/publicaties/2022/03/24/buiten-kerk-en-moskee It's nice they're finally considering Atheists as being a group, an identity, on their own, rather than chuck them in with the "Other or don't know" category. It's amazing to me how religion twists the thinking of religious people. The articles of the NOS have been written by or edited by religious individuals. And if like me, you're an atheist (actually AntiTheist) reading the articles by the NOS, and think about it a bit, you can only conclude that Theists still have little to no clue what an atheist is. Even less understanding can be found for how religion's most important topics are fitted into an atheist's life. (they're not) For example, there's this snippet: ***(The quotes are the original straight from the articles, the Code blocks are the English translation by DuckDuckGo)*** `Oh wait, I have to tell you something first: My sponsors have awesome content, and I am sure that you don't want to miss out on any of that good stuff. So please, take a little time and check out their content!` And now, on with the sho..eehm article. Secularization can lead to misunderstanding between believers and non-believers, Warns the SCP. Young people, concerning baby boomers, are more often not raised with the faith, says Huijnk. "And so they are less familiar with the faith, which leads to more misunderstanding." And then a paragraph later: De oudere generatie verzette zich tegen het geloof, vult Tabitha van Krimpen, Jonge Theoloog des Vaderlands, aan. "Die wilden zich losmaken van de beklemmende structuren van religie en geloof. Nu zien we een jongere generatie die onwetend over religies opgroeit", zegt ze in het programma *Spraakmakers* op NPO Radio 1. The older generation resisted the faith, adds Tabitha van Krimpen, Young Theologian of the Fatherland. " They wanted to break free from the oppressive structures of religion and belief. Now we see a younger generation that grows up ignorant about religions," she says in the program Spraakmakers on NPO Radio 1. Oooooh, Shots have been fired!!!!! I would say if i'd want to troll.... But this is, when I want to stay polite, a misconception among religious people. Most Atheists and certainly almost all anti-theists, turn out to have more knowledge and understanding of the scriptures, the history, and the reality of most religions, certainly Abraham's trio of religions, than members of the Christian, Jewish and Islamic religions. The more fundamental, zealous and fanatic, the less knowledge and wisdom it is based on. This is something that, when you think about it, shouldn't be a surprise. For an atheist, the question "why he/+/she/it/Apple-logo/they became an atheist?" is unavoidable. Strangely enough, the question of why a religious person became a believer hardly ever gets asked. Probably because the answer is something like "Because I was raised to be an atheist from birth." HANG ON! HOLD IT!! *I already felt the knee-jerk reflex, and the offense instinctively taken by some of you! So here is a Disclaiming acknowledgment addressed especially to you:* *Many people convert at an older age. I know some people who were raised Christian, then became atheists, and then converted to Islam, for example. I also know that those are the tiniest of minorities, so tiny they're near insignificant and statistically a smaller percentage than the margins of error. (TL;DR: Shut up, this isn't about you!)* And... oh, w8, we need another disclaimer.... daaaayummmm! ***WARNING! The next bit is going to contain an observation or two. I noticed myself over the past few years (3 decades) and therefore, is my opinion, which has nothing to do with either the NOS or the SCP!*** Where most Theists believe Atheists are ignorant about Theology and (their) religion, I have found the opposite is true: The more fanatic and fundamental the religious person, the less knowledgeable and understanding of their scripture and Theology those religious persons are. That's in the Bible! No it isn't. There have been so many times where "quotes from the scripture" on Facebook or Twitter or any other social media were proven to either be ridiculously edited and misrepresentation to fit the quoting writer's point or nowhere to be found at all in any of the scriptures of their religion. Fundamental, not even hard to remember, pieces of religion... For example, the percentage of Christians that can name 6 or more of the 10 commandments is low. I think that this percentage for atheists is double that of Christians. Back to the articles though: Another sign of ignorance about atheism is in this quote: "Je zag onbegrip van seculieren over de behoefte van gelovigen om in de lockdown 'gewoon' nog naar de kerk of moskee te gaan. Mensen die niet gelovig zijn, begrijpen niet heel goed wat dat betekent voor mensen die gelovig zijn." "You saw misunderstanding from secular about the need of believers to 'just' go to church or mosque in the lockdown. People who are not religious do not understand very well what that means for people who are religious." Yeah we do understand, we just don't agree with you. The quote shows that religious people often impose acceptance of a level of importance to religious practices on atheists that those atheists can't even imagine, let alone agree with. Atheists understand what going to the church or mosque means for religious folks. They just don't agree with them and feel that the spreading of a deadly contagious virus, inevitable with church and mosque services, is far more important. They also know that the virus is atheist, and doesn't stop being infectious and deadly because the group it infects is attending a service in a religious setting. Changing their supposed point of contention is an old trick. Which feels like a new theme for religions. Instead of "They don't agree with <RELIGION BASED ISSUE>" it is now "they do not understand <RELIGION BASED ISSUE>" which they feel more comfortable with. It allows them, in their perspective, to either ignore the atheist view or evade it by explaining why it is important to religious people instead of why their view of the issue is wrong. The next quote from the articles is even more telling: "En een ander voorbeeld is het dragen van hoofddoeken in publieke functies. "Het is voor sommige niet-gelovigen niet goed voor te stellen wat het dragen of het afdoen van een hoofddoek betekent voor sommige moslima's." "And another example is the wearing of headscarves in public functions. "It is difficult for some non-believers to imagine what wearing or taking off a headscarf means for some Muslim women." How do they know what is difficult for my imagination and what's easy? Besides being experts in the field of imagination maybe? This is just baffling to me, how completely focused on the victim role and their own "Plight" the religious can be. That last quote shows they cannot imagine that coming to a public government building, for some issue between a citizen and his/her/+/their/Chrysler logo/its government representative only to find that despite the separation between church and state, the individual that represents that government appears to hold their religion's rules and or traditions above that of the government they represent, and the citizen depends on them to act according to that government's rules and or traditions. Hypothetical fictive example coming in...... NOW! Take a fictional 50+-year-old person. Let's say a Widow who lives across the street from a relatively new mosque that was built a year ago. When that woman moved into that house, the construction of the public park that used to be on the spot where the Mosque now it hadn't been finished. She has watched the trees grow from little more than saplings into big and beautiful trees. The 4 pairs of Ducks that made the pond their home grew into a whole flock of Ducks, who became the only living creatures that were happy to see her every day when after her husband died the walk to feed the Ducks a little bread became the only outing she could afford or was physically able to go on. A woman that also had to witness the bulldozers tear the trees down, the construction workers drain the pond and, wept when the ducks, coming back from their winter trek to the south, circled the site a few times in confusion before flying away never to return. Ok, we've got the woman in our heads, now let's place her in a situation: Imagine that woman needing help with filing a complaint about the cars that are, maybe unintentionally, parked illegally every Friday during the Friday prayers. The parking spaces available aren't enough for the many Muslims that attend the Friday prayers, and so a lot of the cars are parked in a way that's strictly not supposed to be allowed but deemed not to be too much of a problem for the one time per week they're there for an hour. They even leave half the sidewalk free, leaving more than enough for a person to walk past the cars, thinking they're not hindering anyone very much. Only.... For the woman, they are blocking so much of the sidewalk that she is unable to drive her electrical little 4 wheeler, without which she could not leave her house, in between the cars and the garden walls. She needs to go to the supermarket, her doctor, the pharmacy, and the Kantklos hobby club meeting which are all activities that are held every Friday. Took the time, put in the effort and then...... Now imagine that woman having gone through the ordeal of making her way to the municipal government building, waiting an hour until it was her turn and then driving up to the counter to find the person who she needs to file that complaint is wearing a hijab or a niqab or a burqa. DISCLAMER DISCLAIMING THAT WHICH MIGHT BE CLAIMED TO DIS! *the next example is to pre-empt notions of one-sidedness* The situation and people are as much fiction as any other in this article today.... (ish) The same would go for an Imam of a small city center mosque located temporarily in a busy commercial street with shops and a Tea-house. His usual mosque is being rebuilt from the ground up into a true marvel of Islamic architecture with a Minaret piercing the sky, and there will finally be facilities and enough room for 5000 of the Uma to wash themselves properly and attend the Juma’ah to listen to the Khutbah and then pray together. The temporary mosque used to be an office building and was the only place big enough and affordable enough to prevent the Juma'ah from having to take place in the open air, in the parking lot of the Mosque, which has already been completed. Two doors over from the mosque, one shop is owned by a butcher, and their supplies, delivered by trucks, sometimes arrive at the same time. The trucks then have no other choice than to park behind each other in the narrow alley behind the shops and the temporary mosque. It has occurred that blood was spilled or the back of a truck was cleaned with water from a garden hose and instead of running toward the middle of the alley and the drainage into the sewer, the liquids flowed into the former cargo area of the temporary mosque, where some faithful perform the ritual cleansing before praying. Trying to come to a solution... This Imam, having had no success talking to the truck drivers or the butcher about this, needs help to get the Municipal government to solve the problem but after arriving at the Municipal Building, and waiting his turn he sees that the government representative is wearing a Sikh Turban, a steel armband on his right arm and has the Kirpan tucked into his belt. Or an ultra-orthodox Jew with curly hair, a black hat, and a beard... Point? Right. I was making one, wasn't I? Yes... yes, I think ao... The point I'm making is that in the quote the only thought seems to be how awful it is for a Muslim to be forced to take off an item of religiously mandatory clothing. The thought should be about the job the person is performing, and who or what the person is representing while at work. If that is the government, either national or local, then the person should have NO religious symbolism or clothing in sight. When they wear that, they represent the religion, not the government, which is FUNDAMENTALLY separate from any and all religions. Going Further with the source articles, we find the quote concerning education and religion: "Er wordt natuurlijk aandacht besteed aan meer begrip voor seksuele en genderdiversiteit, maar er zou ook meer aandacht kunnen zijn voor religieuze verschillen tussen mensen." "Of course, attention is paid to more understanding of sexual and gender diversity, but there could also be more attention for religious differences between people." Let's leave the sexual and gender diversity topic for another day, and focus on the latter part of the quote. Which is fine, at first thought. But thinking further about the real purpose of this statement is... debatable. Most religious doctrines do not mesh well to understand religious differences, let alone embrace them. To have this taught to the children at a location not under the control of the religion can't be the best-case scenario for any religion unless they're in control of the religion's doctrines. Could it be Theists are seeing signs their involvement in education of children is coming to an end? Only when the only other option is not to come near the students (their future) the quote makes sense, as it gives them at least the option of observing and studying the students, what they're taught and which other religions they have to outshine so to speak to get converts. Another telling quote: Gelovigen en hedendaags spirituelen geven aan meer zingeving te ervaren dan de niet-gelovigen. Kenmerkend voor spirituelen is een holistisch wereldbeeld en het opdoen van mystieke ervaringen, vaak via een sterke natuurverbondenheid. Believers and contemporary spirituals indicate that they experience more meaning than non-believers. The characteristic of spirituals is a holistic worldview and the acquisition of mystical experiences, often through a strong nature connection. How arrogant?! What was it they called assumption again? Mother... of something...??? How could they possibly know they experience more meaning than non-believers? Atheist experiences more, knowing that every single particle they're made of was formed inside of a star, and blasted into the wide vastness of the Universe by a star going supernova at the end of its existence when even its heavier particles have been fused to create Iron, and it no longer has enough fissionable material to sustain fusion. But atheists know something else as well. We... eeem, I mean atheists, also know that there is no meaning in life. No purpose, no plan, no universal goal to achieve. That, for most, means that the responsibility for giving purpose and meaning to life lies with us. We are to give purpose to the incredibly improbable chain of causality that leads to those billions of particles out of which we are built to come together in just the right way to form... us. You may wonder, in the privacy of your own thoughts... "So, what should religious people keep in mind when considering the Atheist's life, experiences, and views of the religious?" I'll give the Hitchhikers guide to the atheist or at least try to. (Hitchhiking could be dangerous and I do not recommend it to most people!) An Atheist does not think about god in any circumstance unless the situation forces the atheist to. If no individual or organization mentions or refers to god or anything else religious, god or anything else religious simply does not enter the conscious thoughts. This is a concept that religious people have the most difficulty with. They cannot imagine not thinking about their religion, their god, their afterlife, or if their deity approves or disproves their thoughts and actions. Atheists do not care if you are devoutly religious or a morally corrupt atheist corporate a$$h013. They prefer not to know because if they learn an individual is religious, no matter what they say, no matter how bad it is considered being, they cannot help thinking less highly of that individual and will always, subconsciously, be less able to take that person seriously. Because if an individual can believe what most religions have at their cores then they can believe.... anything. And this is true for ANY Atheist. Even those who believe in themselves when they claim not to. Atheists are mostly don't want to convert anyone. They know it is near impossible, involves a tedious deconstruction of the religion in question, unreasonable resistance to accepting scientific simple truths, and is almost certainly going to fail, anyway. Agnostics are atheists. Atheism is the absence of belief in the existence of god. Not knowing whether there is a god, means they don't believe there IS a god. Which is the absence of belief in the existence of god. Anti theists believe that religion is bad, mostly evil, in both its nature and in its effect on humanity and the World. Anti Theists believe that the sooner Religion no longer exists, the better humanity's odds are of not going extinct. If you do decide to enter into a debate with an Atheist, make sure you've actually read the scriptures of you faith, and know the current state of your religion, its theology but also its history. (I can assure you that the Atheist you will debate does know these things, about YOUR religion. I am going to "Brei een einde aan dit artikel" And though there is a lot that i could say about this topic, I'd like to have a real discussion with a real theist about this, using arguments and facts and such to convince the other party of their righteous correctness is not advisable right. Oooh maaaan, I am so close to passing out.... LOL! I am once more impressed by my experience, that the length (as well as the quality) of what I'm writing at this moment, can convince me that lengthening one's birthday by refusing to go to sleep has detrimental effects on one's ability as an author early on, around 20hrs, but isn't noticeable much until the 45th hour has passed and that by the 60yh hour the tempo and amount of correcting needed to create something resembling a coherent sentence makes the continuation of writing an article like this ill-advised. Are all cryptocurrency technical analysis basically a BTC analysis? What the..... I think many who've read the title are frothing at the mouth because they feel offended by the thought alone and others are confused and wonder what the heck I'm talking about. Well, if I'm honest I think that the first group if I'm right, is hilarious! Because if I am right, every technical analysis of a cryptocurrency other than BTC, and the predictions are drawn from them, are still nothing more than technical analyses of BTC. Naaaaah. Do you realize how many people would be adversely affected by that? There are hundreds, thousands even, of different media and sites which rely on the technical analyses of the cryptocurrency markets for making their money. A vast number of sites exist for that specific purpose, and those sites would be exposed as pretty much frauds. Because if anyone would have picked up on this it would be them, and none of them have ever said anything of the kind. `If you like awesome content, you have to take a look at my sponsor. They're the best!` Why am I bothering y'all with this? Well, I've been having this nagging, not quite conscious but still present, thought or brain-itch for a while now while looking at the cryptocurrency market charts for different currencies. It's like my brain saw something, extrapolated its meaning, and then discarded it as a possibility because I'm not smart enough to be the first one to see something like that. But still, I'd like to learn. I did manage to convince my brain to allow itself to retain that extrapolated meaning and even now, with that extrapolation of a conscious thought or idea, I still think that I'm probably missing something essential that makes the notion too stupid to even consider. What notion was that again? Well, have a look at this chart here. Nice colors, but what are we looking at exactly? These lines represent the price level of two different cryptocurrencies, from April 2021 to March 2022. What I'm seeing here is that almost every price motion in the orange line is represented In the red line. The differences you see in those lines are almost all due to the difference in scale, with the BTC price being in the tens of thousands of dollars and that of the other Crypto being in the hundreds of dollars. So whatever technical analysis is done on one of them should be valid for the other one as well, they're almost completely synchronized. They're at the very least so much synchronized that they're either subject to the same forces or that one is simply following the one which is driven by the forces that technical analysis can use for making predictions. Whothewhatnow? Okay, reading that back I realize that I'll need to elaborate on that, and speak plainly. You see one of those lines represents the price of BTC. The other one represents the price of Bitcoin Cash. And it seems to me that the price of Bitcoin Cash is pretty much just following that of BTC. If this is true all the articles and analysts that have been talking about the Bitcoin Cash prizes supports and resistances, the bears vs the bulls talk, all have nothing to do with the Bitcoin Cash price movements. They're basically just a technical analysis of the BTC price movement. I'm not going to bother boring you with more screenshots or numbers here because in all likelihood I'll be informed that I am missing something super obvious that makes the whole notion ridiculous and the prices of cryptocurrencies are all independent and not simply follow the BTC prices. That would make wasting time on this article somewhat stupid, and I try to avoid wasting my effort and time on something stupid if I can. Try out for yourselves to see if I'm right, on tradingview or coingecko! https://www.tradingview.com/chart/ https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/compare But you can place the ETH, BRB, XRP, Cardano, Doge, in the chart above and you'll see the same thing. This to me indicates that you can analyze the shit out of the charts for those currencies, saying that Bulls and Bears are what makes their prices go up or down but it is not. The BTC price is what determines the prices of the other currencies. But that would completely negate and invalidate all those investor and trader websites that provide technical analyses of cryptocurrencies for their (playing) clients pretty boring and without value. Please explain to me in the comments why I'm wrong. Why the only technical analyses that matter is those of BTC and the other crypto's analyses should not simply say "See BTC". There must be something I'm not seeing or that I don't understand. Please help me see it. Thank you for reading this Stay safe and stay happy. @AnonSunamun
