Migrating birds can sense the Earth's magnetic field due a compound called crypto chrome 4 in their eyes.This compound is very sensitive to magnetic field. This is basically animals compass which they use to check their direction of migrate. Animals can see in dark and light areas due to magnetic field and they determined their direction with the help of magnetic field. According to researchers European Robin species use magnetic field when they migrate from one place to another place. Due to cryptochrome 4 molecule which can help to detect Earth's magnetic field.
