10K na trabaho sa Gobyerno bakante

MAHIGIT sa 10,000 government job positions mula sa 700 participating agencies ang iaalok sa Online Career Fair na nakatakda sa Setyembre 14-18. Ayon sa Civil Service Commission (CSC), sa mga bukas na trabaho, 28 percent ay mula sa Calabarzon at Mimaropa, 18 percent sa Central Visayas, at 15 percent sa Region Western Visayas. Ang mga posisyong maaaring aplayan sa Online Career Fair ay Deputy Register of Deeds, Admin Officer, Attorney, Accountant, at Procurement Officer. Ang mga interesadong aplikante ay maaaring magpatala sa virtual job fair sa paglikha at pag-download ng Personal Data Sheet sa pamamagitan ng Online Career Fair microsite, i-upload ito sa kanilang JobStreet profile bilang resume, at i-bookmark ang website para madaling pagsangguni. Mas pipiliin ang mga aplikante na may Civil Service eligibility, ngunit may mga posisyon din na hindi na ito kakailanganin. “To our Filipino jobseekers, especially those who have been displaced due to the pandemic, we encourage you to join the Online Career Fair and find livelihood opportunities in the public sector,” wika ni CSC Commissioner Atty. Aileen Lourdes Lizada. Sa pinakabagong job report ng JobStreet, mahigit kalahati o 60% ng job candidates sa bansa ay hinagupit ng COVID-19 crisis, kung saan 17% ay permanenteng natanggal sa trabaho at 43 % ang pansamantalang naging jobless. Ang mga empleyadong natanggal sa trabaho ay karaniwang contractual workers. Ayon pa sa report, ang mga industriya na labis na naapektuhan ng pandemya ay ang  tourism and travel; food and beverage; hospitality and catering; architecture, building, and construction; at education sectors.
