An 18-year-old in Colorado is facing first-degree murder charges after allegedly stabbing her mother in the face and neck 79 times.
The judge informed her that she will be facing one count of first-degree murder amd two counts of crime of violence, a sentence-enhancing charge. Guzman and her mother often fought, but the teenager had become "more threatening and disrespectful" toward Yun-Mi Hoy in recent days, her stepfather, Ryan Hoy, told authorities.
