Crypto.com goes from deal to deal when it comes to sponsoring the sports world. After becoming the main sponsor of, among other things, the Formula 1 circus, the Paris Saint-Germain football team, Italian Serie A, NBA teams and more, they are now striking and paying 700 million dollars to take over the name of the legendary Staples Center in Los Angeles. The Singapore-based stock exchange announced today that they have secured the naming rights to the Staples Center - Los Angeles home to the NBA's Lakers and Clippers as well as the WNBA's Sparks and NHL's Kings - for the next 20 years. As part of the deal, Crypto.com will also partner directly with the LA Kings and Los Angeles Lakers. There is also the opportunity for the stock market to collaborate even more with the city itself, as FTX has done in Miami. "We are very excited to partner with AEG and invest long-term in this city, starting with Crypto.com Arena in the heart of downtown," said Crypto.com CEO and co-founder Kris Marszalek in a blog post.
