Why the relationships then?

I often wonder why people make relationships. I hear people saying that No one stays with you forever, That no one can wipe your tears No one will help you when you need them Everyone has to carry themselves I do agree with what they say, but. If what they say is true If no one is going to be There for us when we need them When no one will be our support When people are going to change, to betray us Then why are these relationships for? Why is there family, friends, love, are these just terms? Why there are feelings, emotions, attachments? I often wonder why people make relationships.. why? :')
