Australia ban YouTube today for under-16 age. The new account on YouTube should required proof of the user above 16. Should teenagers/ Kids have access to social media?

I think it's reasonable. At that age, it would be better for these kids to focus on developing skills and spend time outside, than being enclosed in the space social media provides. Also, we know social media can be pretty addictive ( I am one of the victims hahaha).
well there is "youtube kids", do you know about it? is it banned as well? But the problem about banning is that kids use the phone of their parents and they can still see things there
