I'm starting to love camping. I watched videos of people setting up camp. Cooking their go to meals. Heating up their hands by the fire. Stare at nature and breathe fresh air. I want that, too. Sitting by the fire We decided to try camping out in a vacated lot. Trees everywhere. Fallen leaves. And sounding crickets. We burn some fallen leaves and branches to keep us warm during the night. And as I lay down by the hammock we setup between the trees, I felt it. The life that I wanted. A simple, warm camp life with nothing to worry about but the food we have to cook. Cozy!

It's been cold and windy since the New Year starts. I prefer to stay inside. Cuddle with my blanket and get cozy in front of our TV. Sipping hot coffee while watching movies. But I can't deny it. I miss being under the blue skies with the trees waving as the summer breeze touches their leaves. But I will enjoy the coldness right now. Lazy afternoon that makes the hour pass by quickly.
