The evil eyes
*بــــــسم الله الرحمان الرحيم* *THE EVIL EYES (العين)cont'd* *Another point I will like to add is the dangers of social media* Social media has become an unremovable part of today’s life. Unfortunately it has made us much more *vulnerable to evil eye* . We should be cautious of the danger of *posting pictures of ourselves, our possessions or our children on social media.* Similarly we should not be sad thoughtful gaze at the blessings of others and envy them for it. We should reflect on *how using social media affects our health, family relations, spirituality and ultimately our relationship with Allah* . *The prophet said:* The evil eye may follow a man IF Allaah wills, until he climbs up a high mountain then falls from it. *He said:* Yes, for if anything were to overtake the divine decree, it would be the *evil eye* . *The difference between the evil eye and envy* The word *Hasid* (envier) is more general in meaning than the word *'Aa'in*(one who puts the evil eye on another), in Surah Al-Falaq Allah made mention of seeking refuge with Allaah from the evil of the one who envies. *Islamictherapies*
