“You’ll shine, when it’s your time.” There will always be someone better than you in some capacity, someone smarter, someone more creative, articulate, and well-liked. Someone who’s more fit and conventionally attractive. Someone more knowledgeable and skilled, and better able to execute what you are striving towards something. But that doesn’t invalidate the strengths you bring on the table. It doesn’t mean that you’re inadequate, or not enough, and you’ll never be the best version of yourself you wanted to be. And it’s okay. We are all at separate time and places on our journey. We all have non-identical struggles and limitations. Unalike resources and barriers. We’re all a product of dissimilar histories. And so, what we are going to create, give, and achieve is going to be unique and different. Something we deserve. Have a blessed Sunday. - Aly
