You left before I had the chance to understand how the world breathes. While I was still feeling for the meaning of each step, still learning to seize the days, you walked away from the lessons of my life — the lessons that hurt the most. But don’t think I’m the only one who lost something. There is someone — a guardian who pressed half of their dreams to my chest, who weaves life from fragments of hope, who heals wounds with small promises. With them, I learned to stand strong; not perfectly, but enough to grow. You are not a shadow I blame or an enemy I pin to my heart. You — your name is like an old echo, faint yet familiar; a waiting carefully placed on the shelf of my prayers. There is no hatred here. They taught me to love patiently, making me choose affection free of vengeance. Sometimes longing comes like an uninvited wave: washing the edges of solitude, writing your name in the sand, then fading away. This world is narrow, we are still on the same continent — but not everything that is near is meant to meet now. People ask where you are. I only smile and answer with a prayer: may abundant mercy guide your steps, may your burdens become lessons, and your gentleness a light. From afar, I send strands of hope — simple, yet sincere: InshaAllah. Thank you for once fighting for me.
