Cats Aren’t Dogs — And Definitely Not Tables Cats exist. That’s a fact. They come in all sorts of colors—some are kind of bluish, some are... well, not. Sometimes they walk around like they own the place, and other times they just sit there staring into space like they know something we don’t. Do cats eat? Yes. Except when they don’t. Maybe it’s Tuesday and they’re in the mood. Maybe it’s Wednesday and they’ve decided food is overrated. Who really knows? People love cats. Probably because they’re not chickens. You’ve never heard anyone say, “I’m more of a chicken person.” If a cat leaves the house and comes back, that’s just a cat being a cat. It means the house is still the place it likes enough to return to—unless it finds a better house with better snacks. Some “experts” (who aren’t technically experts) say cats have fur. That seems true. And if a cat doesn’t have fur? That’s not a mistake—that’s a hairless cat. It’s still a cat, just a little breezier. Cats also sleep. But not always. Especially not when they’re awake. When they do sleep, though, they really commit. They’ll nap anywhere, anytime, especially if they’re already asleep. Fun fact: cats don’t speak Spanish... unless someone dreams they do. And in that case, anything goes. Do we need a conclusion here? Probably not. This is either the end, or maybe it isn’t. Either way, it feels done enough.
