Dream & Me Dreams are far, like stars in the sky I walk alone, though I don't know why I fall again, my heart breaks open But these are not just simple wounds And this pain... is not the usual kind Still I chase the path I once believed Woven in hopes I barely conceived If my dream is something divine Then so will the tears and trials be mine This is me Holding dreams that burn, yet shine Walking paths that never align I keep walking into light and sorrow Facing beauty and pain of tomorrow There will be tears, there will be grace But still I move, still I embrace ‘Cause this is me... I fall... but I rise again I know this life won’t bend to my will And dreams may come with wounds to heal But even through the cracks and rain I choose this path, again and again To give up? That’s not my way Even fear can’t make me stray This is my dream, I’ll never let go This is the path my heart chose This is me… With scars and hope and burning dreams And I will never stop chasing them
