What do you think about Crypto? The question seems simple. A small sentence behind the meaning of meaning. It can come from an old friend who is new to the digital world, or perhaps with your father who is curious about why financial news is now discussing something that looks like a meaningless number. But at its core, the question is reflected on the future: about the value, about the trust, and about the systems we trust. **Between utopia and exploitation** Crypto -short for -cryptocurrency -only more than "digital money". It symbolizes the hopes of many people for a more open world, free from dominance of traditional institutions such as banks or governments. In its early days, Crypto emerged from disappointment with the old financial system, which proved to be delicate and highly biased. Bitcoin, as a leading, was not designed to rich people quickly, but as a form of resistance: a decentralized system that cannot be controlled by a single unit. There, crypto was utopia. However, time and market changed everything. That idealism began to be revised. People came for revolution, but for profit. Cryptocurrency became a playground for speculation, manipulated by whales, influenced by affected, and eventually modified like cheap stocks on the exchange. From a dream to a device. From a device to a mesh. **Technology versus confusion** This does not mean that Crypto has not brought successes. Technology behind it - blockchain - is the most important innovation in the last two decades. This enables transparent data recording, cannot be changed arbitrarily, and it can be used not only for money but also for digital contracts (smart contracts), art assets (NFTs) and even more honest voting systems. But let's be honest: how many of us really understand this technique, only compared to the green chart and the foam (fear of disappearance)? Cryptocurrency promises freedom, but many ends stuck. It is very easy to get out, it is very difficult to get out. **Trust is real currency** Finally, Crypto is never just about technology. This is about belief. People do not buy bitcoins because of its physical form - because it does not exist. They rely on the system, its lack and its community. Faith is social. The way we believe that a piece of paper is valued because other people trust him. The irony is that the larger the crypto industry, the more manipulation is. Scam projects, tokens fraud, exchange of disappearance without a mark. And every time this happens, a question revival: what are we really trusting? **Reflection: Rarely Middle Path was taken** So, what do I think of Crypto? I think this is a deep reflection on humanity. We are always searching for new ways to define the value. About how we want to control the systems that control our lives for a long time. But also how easily we get caught in the illusion of freedom, which eventually stems from the same old purpose: greed. Cryptocurrency is not the answer to all problems. But this is also not an enemy. It is a device, and like any tool - it can be useful or dangerous, it depends on who keeps it. If you asked me today, *"What do you think about cryptocurrency?"* Then perhaps my answer would be: "*I think it's a mirror. And sometimes, we are not ready to see our own reflection in it."*
