Grateful for Growth, Despite the Challenges Over the past year, one of the things that has brought me the most joy is seeing my children grow and slowly step into new stages of their lives. Watching them learn, become more independent, and discover their own little personalities has been both heartwarming and eye-opening. It reminds me every day how quickly time passes, and how precious these moments are. Things were not as rosy, though. An even bitter one came when the design works for a project were never honored by the contractor who had left them. It was a horrible thing to go through, one that was very frustrating and disappointing, but then again, it has taught me the importance of being extra careful while taking on jobs and clarifying such agreements in future. But I feel that amidst all the turbulence, I have found strength this year. I have learned that growth does not have to be realized all at once. It can be about improving your living space or just finding solace in your daily routine. Each one of those victories matters, however mundane it may appear. From the rear mirror, it is the realization that life has always been a contrast of challenges and blessings. These struggles may leave scars, but they also leave lessons that shape the person we are becoming. And with every other sunrise that I see, I remember that even the harsh times are building blocks on the road toward something much better.
