One taka food Bangladesh. Friend of the helpless❤
As soon as the bell rang, the children sat in line to eat. They have been taught to eat with their heads down. No loud sentences, no complaints. A little noodles are like nectar to them. Or angels with children. So maybe they can be appeased so little. I may not be able to show them the dream of becoming a medical engineer, but I can show them the dream of becoming a good person.
Not boats, Khichuri's bones are being swept away for the hungry people. Many places are newly flooded in the flood waters. Even though the news is not in the newspapers, the crying does not stop in the areas. The Vidyananda team is still working to deliver food to them. The pictures were taken from Kurigram yesterday. With floods water old locations are getting submerged again. In a country like Bangladesh it is a regular occurrence and mentioning these misery sometimes do not catch the eyes. But that does not negate the fact that the issue remains and people suffer immensely. There pictures are from Kurigram where we had to make the food pots float to deliver food to the hungry. We from Bidyanondo share these not for publicity, rather to get the attention back to where it belongs.
Children of Arambagh slum waiting for food along the line. No fighting, no pushing, no chaos. This scene can be a visible output for those who complain that they are spoiling the habit by just eating without being supportive. Children learn to respect the rules or the law by watching. Through this food project, I am developing the habit of practicing those values and following the rules. And this education will one day influence their behavior to learn something big in their life, this is our belief. We hope that someday these teachings will inspire them to do good.
They are returning home with a bowl full of happiness. This is like the smile of world conquest. I will not share this smile with you, how is it? Happiness workers are distributing happiness in different parts of the country for one taka. I could not understand how much happiness is hidden in this cheap food if I did not start this project. Grateful donors, for joining this mission to share food.
A bowl full of happiness. They are returning home with a bowl full of food for the family. We from One Taka Meal project, feed thousands daily in various locations the country. Though our prices are low, the happiness it brings is priceles
The baby finds the mother, after collecting food. Although he did not learn to eat with his own hands, the little boy stood in line and made sure he had lunch. You can't eat without your mother, so finding your favorite person has confirmed the taste of food at this age. The little child is looking for his mother. Even though he can't eat by his own hands, he still stood in line and secured lunch for that day. Lastly the mother came and he could finally eat in peace. (Many a times we see situations like this where the parents feel shy asking out for food and the children collects them. At the end of the day, if this ensures food for the family, then so be it.)
