Garden Pineapples Did you know that there is a plant whose flowers are miniature pineapples? This is a photo of a plant in my garden, it's a beautiful species of the Bromeliad family of the genus Pineapple. It's no edible, it can be used to decorate the garden and make beautiful flower arrangements. I'm fascinated by its scent and the magical touch with which it embellishes the spaces. It's known as Ananas Lucidus or Ananas Ananassoides, it is native to South America.
