The purple-rumped sunbird is a sunbird endemic to the Indian Subcontinent. Like other sunbirds, they are small in size, feeding mainly on nectar but sometimes take insects, particularly when feeding young. They can hover for short durations but usually perch to suck nectar from flowers. Source : wikipedia • This is shot is not that simple as it looks. I spent many days observing this bird. These birds are pretty hard to capture and also in a entry levevl camera. I used manual focus to focus the bird because auto focus keeps jumping focus. I had to focus pretty fast because they dont stay in a position for more than 5-10sec 😅 • When it comes to bird photography, professionals say that, to focus the eyes of the bird which is the main highlight. So I had to manually focus the eyes in this 5-6 sec gap.
