Light Painting This time I attempted light painting with a phone and watch as my subject. Its simple photography guys, but you have to know the settings well. Jumping Spider This is one of my first shots of a Jumping Spider. This was shot at the time when I started Macro photography. I remember chasing this guy so much and he was restless. But still I did not do any harm to the beautidul creature. It was cute and had green eyes, due to lighting problems you cant identify the color properly. Sunset Reflection shot So at one sunset day, I thought of capturing the sun in a beautiful view. But then I found this water container tank near. So I poured some water on top of it and I took this pic. You know after all photography is also about creativity. So is the shot good ?
Dragon Fly I was actually outside walking, thats when I spot this colorful dragonfly. This dragon fly was very cool and calm. It wad really coperative during the photo session. I didnt have my DSLR with me orelse I would have taken some good macro close up shots. So I shot this pic with my phone. After all gear doesnt matter and it should not he a reason. Tree Hopper This is another shot of tree hopper. I have shared one from the side view. This time I got the oppurtunity to capture it again from the front side. Looks cool right ? With those horns it looks really cute. This time I used my DSLR to take the shot. Its not big insect. If you have seen my earlier posts you can see it is just the size of a finger nail. Rose Macro This is not a zoomed or cropped picture. This is the maximum zoom I can get of a rose flower. I shot this image with 18-55mm kitlens. Well you might wonder how I got this close using just a kitlens. I used the unpopular reverse macro technique to get this close. If anyone using a dslr must try this method. It gives pretty good close up results. #Photography
Rose Flowers So this morning I saw to Rose flowers in my garden, fresh and bloomed. And yeah this makes my day. Seeing this nature beauty heals me mentally. Editing Look how editing can change the image. How the true colors of the image is lost. I took this shot in my Samsung Galaxy A50 device and edited in Adobe Lightroom. Garden Lizard This guy is really camera shy. I had to walk circles around the tree so much to get him in frame for the shot. Each time I went closer, he goes hiding under the leaves. At first I tried to take macro shot of him using the 18-55mm kitlens but it ran to the top. Then I grabbed my 75-300mm lens to capture it from a long range and this is how I got this shot. Bubbles Of Joy I shot this pic when I went to Chennai for vacation back in 2019. As you can see in this pic, this lady was selling toys to children and to attract her customers she blows bubbles. Hey guys, so I said I will upload more pics from Mahabalipuram right ? Yea, so this is the top view from the Mahabalipuram palace. Its really beautiful to witness, and the scenerio is really great. We wanted to walk down the rock but it was risky. If we had some trekking ropes we could have gone down. Because the stones were slippery and my mom and sister cant risk walking down. So we just stayed there and enjoyed the view.
This photo was taken in the year 2019. This is green homes hotel. We stayed here we went to visit Chennai. My mother and sister stayed in left house and Me, my brother and my father stayed in right house. Our family friend recommended this hotel and also we got the chance to meet Salim Ghouse, an Indian actor who mainly appeared in Villain roles. Guys this is Ezhalloor. Its just 5km away from our hostel. The best part is our ride to Ezhalloor. We had to wake up early morning 4:30pm so that we can reach here by sunset. Black Headed Oriole This is the name of the yellow bird that comes to our home every day. He usually rests in Tamarind tree. Really cute lookin right? I had made many several attempts to tame this bird, but is was a big failure. Tried feeding biscuits, peanuts, home food , etc. Nothing worked. Its really cool looking thats why. GOLDEN HOUR Because I woke up early morning 3:30am only I got the chance to witness the golden sky. It was like Heaven on Earth really ! The best high range place I have visited. Greater Flameback The name does sound cool, although I call him wood pecker. This is a very common bird. He usually pecks in coconut trees. Sometimes when we have coconut shells, he comes and put holes in it using his beak. Like a fast driller. The spund it makes while pecking is also kind of funny
Indian House Gecko This is one my best and detailed macro shots that I took in 2020. Unfortunately I am not doing maceo photography now because my laptop has a complaint. So I cant be able to edit the photos. Ok for those of whom is thinking this is a snake, no ! Its not a snake ! Its like a lizard but gold in color. Its not that very common. I found it in our locked store room while searching for spiders.
Some Dragon Fly All I know is it looks like Darth Vader from Star Wars. This is also an old photo taken in 2019. Back then I didnt have a proper diffuser that is why there is white patches in its eyes. Its caused due to over exposed light. But now I am way better I think so. Well you guys tell me if I have improved or not.
Size Comparison I have showed you a close up shot of tree hopper before. When I was surfing through my macro pics I found this one lucky picture of both and the tree hopper in one frame! Just look at the size. That is a small red ant and that ant was bigger than the insect ! Now you can imagine how close up the image is and how difficult it was for me to capture this pic just using a kitlens and base model dslr.
Throwback to one of my best Bird shots. This bird is called the sunbird. And it is female yellow rumped sunbird. The male comes in purple and yellow color. Its so small and cute. Guys dont mistake this bird for humming bird. Its different and Huingbirds do not exist in India. These sunbirds are pretty common here This is my best shot because I have spent days to capture this bird. Its not easy because the bird is lightning quick speed.

Yesterday you guys have seen the view that is nearby my best freind's weddinh auditorium. This view is also from the same place itself. So this place is called Shastham kotta. And they say this lake supplies drinking water all over our district. Also guys my camera has got some sensor dust. If you zoom in and see the pic you can understand that. This is the front view outside my house ! This is not a lake or pond. It was actually our football and cricket ground. Due to heavy rain its flooded. And one think that is really worst is the Mosquitoes. Because of this contaminated water the mosquitoes are spreading in huge numbers. We cant even sleep at night peacefully because of this mosquito. Karunagapalli Light House I have showed you Karungapalli beaches. This is the light house. Its really a different stucture and very small. And its located in the other side of the sea. I used 75-300mm zoom lens to capture this shot. To get to the opposite side of the sea there is a bridge and it is under construction. As soon as it opens, it will connect to districts Alappuzha and Kollam. It makes a lot easier to travel.
Marina Bay By seeing this pic itself you can understand that this pic was taken before covid time. Yes ! It was taken in 2019 when there were no covid restrictions and people had the best time of their lives. I enjoyed the most before the pandemic. Now I think in this beach people are not allowed anymore. Its one of the most crowded beach in South India. I wish it will be the same as before. Best days of my life.

Aanayadi Waterfalls This is how our evenings was spent, the most peaceful and chilling vibe of our town area. Actually I am a traveller and this area is where Mathew's house is located. Kallimali View Point This is a top station view point in Rajamala, Idukki. It is due to fog that you cant see the view clearly. If you come here in Summer time when there is no fog you can see a beautiful landscape view. There is a great story behind this, actually long ago there was a village under the lake. A shop keeper nearby told us. Then a dam was conatructed so the village had dissapeared and it became a beautiful lake. Fascinating isnt it?

Mattupetty Echo Point, Munnar The best of all places that I visited after the Covid Pandemic had started. This was actually the day before yesterday.
