Q: To make love before marriage. Is it permissible?

(Answer)

Undoubtedly, love with other men and women is forbidden. Because,

1. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

"It is lawful for you to be chaste Muslim women and their chaste women who have been given the Book before you, when you give them dowry to marry them, not to satisfy their lust or to have secret love." (Surat al-Ma'ida: 5)

2. Moreover, this kind of love brings men and women closer to Jinnah. And Gina is a deadly poetic sin. It is haraam to have illicit sexual relations, and it is haraam to do anything that brings one closer to jinn. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): Surely this is an indecency and an evil way. ”(Surah Isra, 32)

3. If you make love, Satan will tempt you to commit adultery. The lover-lover will desire solitude. And it is forbidden. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, (Ibn Majah 2373, Tirmidhi 2175)

4. In another hadith, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

"Fornication of two eyes is haraam gaze, adultery of two ears is hearing the voice of an adulteress. Turns out to be a lie. ” (Meshkat 1/32)

Needless to say, all of this is slowly infiltrating haram-love.

5. In addition, haram-love often brings the slave closer to shirk. Because many times they start loving each other so much that Allah is the only one who claims to have this kind of love. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَن يَتَّخِذُ مِن دُونِ اللَّـهِ (Surat al-Baqara, 185)
