Be thankful

To be thankful is something I just learn a few minutes ago from a 92-year old woman. She is very old and weak to the extent that she can't sit on her own anymore except with support from her grandson. She was thirsty when I was with them and then her grandson helped her to drink water. After she was done drinking the water, her grandson stepped out of the room to get something. In her bed that she was laid, she voiced out to tell God that she is thankful for giving someone to give her water and she is forever grateful for everything. Where I was seated, tears almost run down my eyes as I have known we the ones of this generation to always forget this important aspect of life. We don't show appreciation until we get something magnificent enough to be thankful for. This is a wrong approach to life itself and we must start to be appreciative to God for anything no matter what it is, either small or big.
