All this NFT hype. Seems a bit insane don't you think. Thousands for a meme gif. The right to own one copy of it. I'm guessing its because of high Eth prices. NFTs have become a playground for the wealthy and the foolish. Short term. Oh yeah. Lots of money to be made alright. But what happens when ETH 2 gets released and prices to use ETH will finally go down like it's supposed to. Will the value of all that digital art go down as well since it wont cost a fortune to produce them? I got into NFTs in April May just after the GPK 1 release. It was right when they announced the Shatner digital card set. Then I saw how a few people bought up all the packs to relist on the secondary market for higher. A lot of people refused to pay those high prices. Now these "whales" are stuck with them. Prices already going down to pennies per card. Dont get me wrong. It's just like regular card collecting. Except not as many commons. Anywho. I also bought some Lost in Space stuff on Terra virtua. I sure hope that place lasts. I didnt use METAMASK for my collection. I used the built in wallet. I didnt want to pay the taxes (gas prices) to put them on MetaMask. But if Terra Virtua doesnt do well and shuts down, what then? What happens to all those digital collectibles that I so say own. What happens to them? Can I move them? Can I still own them?
