Rabindranath Tagore

Rabindranath Tagore was born on 25th Baishakh 1268 BC in Calcutta to the Tagore family of Jorasanko. His father was Maharshi Debendranath Tagore and his grandfather was Prince Dwarkanath Tagore. He did not have a formal education in school, but his walk in the diverse field of literature is a wonder. He was truly a genius. His poetic talent was developed in his childhood. At the age of fifteen, his poem Bonaful was published. In 1913, Rabindranath Gitanjali won the first Nobel Prize in Literature among Asians for his poetry. In fact, in his single pursuit, Bengali language and literature improved in all branches and was established in the seat of glory in the world court. He is simultaneously a literary, philosophical, academic, composer, playwright and actor. Poetry, short stories, novels, plays, songs, etc., all branches of literature are rich in his contributions.His numerous works include Mansi, Sonar Tari, Chitra, Kalpana, Kshanika, Balaka, Punscha, Chokher Bali, Gola, Ghare-Baire, Communication, The Last Poem, Abandonment, Post Office, Raktakarbi, Golpaguchh Bichir, etc.The world poet Rabindranath Tagore passed away in Calcutta in 1348 BS.
